In this battle of short, slightly overweight, average-looking funnymen, Jack Black definitely has seniority. You could say his most recent movie Year One establishes him as the forefather of that field. That said, young movie upstart Zach Galifianakis is taking the comedy world by storm with The Hangover. Both comedians know how to get audiences laughing, but judging by the box office (Year One debuted at No. 4; The Hangover at No. 1), Black might want to watch his back! Which jokester makes you laugh hardest?

When Bill Murray landed his first starring role in Meatballs in 1979, the world was a different place: The U.S. was locked in an endless conflict with something called the U.S.S.R. and Wes Anderson was just ten years old. Since then, Murray reached the apex of the comedy world with mega-hits like Caddyshack (1980), Ghostbusters (1984). ("Nobody steps on a church in my town!") But instead of flaming out, Murray went in a different direction -- first becoming a frequent player in Anderson's ironic comedies (Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums) and then going for dramatic gold with celebrated performances like Lost in Translation (2003). Where's Murray headed next? Read on!

Still want more Bill Murray? Take a Caddyshack trivia quiz.
Scored a ten on that quiz? Take the Ghostbusters Ultimate Fan Quiz.
Now that you've proven your knowledge on two of his individual movies, take the Bill Murray Ultimate Fan Quiz.

Robots, good and evil, are taking over the movie theaters! Sometimes it's the creepy skeletal type of Terminator Salvation. Other times, it's the Decepticons and Autobots of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Despite the metal monsters' penchant for enslaving/killing us, we humans seem to love movie robots. Which of these two types of legendary robots would you prefer swarmed the planet: Transformers of Terminators?

Nowadays, it seems as if this week's blockbuster is always a follow-up to last summer's big hit or a new chapter shedding fresh light on that old story. In light of the astounding success of the Star Wars chapters one through three earlier this decade, the greatest competition for sequels has turned out to be not original material so much as the prequel. This summer alone, you've got X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Star Trek in one category and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and Terminator Salvation in the other. Which do you prefer?
If you prefer prequels (or sequels) find out how The Exorcist all started with Exorcist: The Beginning: Jun. 23 @ 8PM | 7C.

Will Ferrell's back again. This week, the SNL alum hits theaters with The Land of the Lost (2009), which looks likely to be another notch on his belt of hilarity. He's like the Pixar of comedy. Think about it. There's Semi-Pro (2008), Blades of Glory (2007), Talladega Nights (2006), Anchorman (2004), and Elf (2003). That's an impressive track record. So which is your favorite Ferrell flick?

It should come as no surprise that Pixar's latest, Up, debuted at No. 1 last weekend. With a string of hits (Toy Story (1995), Finding Nemo (2003), Wall-E (2008), etc.), the CGI-animation studio has set a new standard for family entertainment. In 2006, Disney bought Pixar and merged the modern animation titan with its classic counterpart. Does the new Disney compare to the old (i.e., Beauty and the Beast (1991), The Lion King (1994), Bambi (1942), etc.)? Which type of family fun do you prefer?

Horror fans are foaming at the mouth as
Drag Me to Hell hits theaters this week thereby marking the return of
Sam Raimi,
Evil Dead auteur, to his horror roots. All Raimi was able to accomplish outside of genre fare was to direct three
Spider-Man flicks. Are you glad Raimi has returned to the type of flick that made him famous? Or do you prefer his work on super-hero blockbusters?

Dan Brown's novels The Da Vinci Code and its prequel Angels & Demons are literary hits by any measure. Yet the movie version of the former was universally derided by critics and now, Hollywood's sequel based on the prequel is suffering a similar fate. This begs the question: Which adaptations is the least likable?

With starring roles in instant classics like The Da Vinci Code and its sequel, Angels & Demons, Tom Hanks continues to solidify his status as a Hollywood actor who's likelier than most to stand the test of time. Like a modern-day Jimmy Stewart, he's the rare actor who's able to embody the prized qualities of his own generation (ace comic timing, a love of extreme roles) while maintaining the timelessness of his predecessors. Of course, he's got competition: Actors like Johnny Depp, Dennis Quaid, and George Clooney summon the classic cool of Stewart and Marlon Brando and manage to make it distinctly their own. Which actor do you think best defines modern classic?
