One on One - Prequels Versus Sequels
Nowadays, it seems as if this week's blockbuster is always a follow-up to last summer's big hit or a new chapter shedding fresh light on that old story. In light of the astounding success of the Star Wars chapters one through three earlier this decade, the greatest competition for sequels has turned out to be not original material so much as the prequel. This summer alone, you've got X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Star Trek in one category and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and Terminator Salvation in the other. Which do you prefer?
