Few actors have a more diverse resume than Morgan Freeman. He's Hollywood's go-to guy for gravitas, but he's also a pro at portraying preternaturally wise, salt-of-the-earth folks. Whether he's playing a thinking man's cop in Kiss the Girls, a trailblazer in Amistad, Driving Miss Daisy and Glory, the President in Deep Impact, or yes, God, in Bruce Almighty, he always delivers the goods. Which brilliant performance do you treasure?

Rank your favorite Morgan Freeman movies, and then catch Driving Miss Daisy all this month on AMC.

I grew up in the south, so this movie really touched my heart. Morgan Freeman's portrayal of Hoke was such a true portrayal of a black person in that era in the south. I have never seen a more honest character. It brought back loving memories of some of my care givers when I was young. The love he showed to Miss Daisy was so honest and true to life. My only disappointment was that he didn't receive an Oscar for his proformance. He truly deserved it. He is an excellent actor. I have enjoyed his other works, too. But this is a one-in-a-million performanace.

Those are great movies he has been in and he is one of my favorite actors. I thought he was great in Driving Miss Daisy. He is a brilliant actor. However, one of my favorite movies I consider a recent classic that Morgan Freeman stars in is Shawshank Redemption.
