He is shirtless 8 times
shirtless 37 times. he's such a cad...
jasper is the town
The answer can vary if you count the scenes where he has no clothes or if you strictly stick to the scenes where only his shirt is off. also, one can divide certain scenes as one or at least three; where he is boxing , having an argument with Kelly Lynch and then proceeds to rescue Emmet from the house explosion. Is that three separate scenes or one cause he's in the same sweat pants ? It is actually a difficult question to answer depending on how detailed you want to be.
I agree with Mary Lee, however here is what I counted
1. Stitching his arm in the office
2. Reading "Ledgends of the Fall" on the couch
3. When the Carrie brings him breakfast
4. Doing the Ti-Chi thing by the river
5. Getting stapled at the Dr. office
6. Having sex on the roof
7. Hitting the punching bag
8. Arguing with Elizabeth
9. Saving Emmitt
10. Killing the punk
11. Swimming at the end
The answer is eight because if his shirt was already off that still counts as one NOT two!
As I recall, it was asked on TV, '...how many 'scenes' did he appear shirtless' and therefore, I counted 11 (eleven). Here on this Comment/Blog, the question asks '...how many "times"?' Both questions, given the context, are quite vague. Define "scene"..., define "times"... When does one "scene" or one "time" begin and end? Great movie however, sure to be a Classic. Thank you AMC for airing it.
