If counting all of the bodies in the film it would have been 11. 9 people were killed, 1 dog, and then one tiger shark.

Fav movie of all time. Saw it first in 1975 and watch it about 5 times per year. Even went to Martha's Vineyard and got in water where boy on raft died in movie and saw where Quint had his boat. Also have the dvd
