Talk Forum: What You're Saying

AMC played the 1985 Harrison Ford thriller Witness this week, leaving DRKellogg trying to settle an old bet: "Do you think Rachel would ever succumb to an affair with John Book? She says yes and I say no. I think she would take the both of them to the brink, but in the end, her religious convictions would win out." I responded that for the sake of not being exploitative of Amish beliefs, I would hope that even Harrison Ford would know when to check himself. DRKellogg agreed: "Rachel is more than a conquest and the cost is too high for John, too, so he protects her by controlling himself in a way he's never had to before. I'll bet that doesn't happen on his normal Saturday night!"

Meanwhile the Talk forum is discussing our favorite war movies -- which film has the most esprit de corps? Which platoon leader would you follow into the battlefield? Also, in celebration of Easter the forum is counting down our favorite movies about Jesus -- are you a James Caviezel / The Passion of The Christ devotee, or is Martin Scorsese and Willem Defoe's The Last Temtation of Christ more your speed?
