Makeout Movies: Matchmakers Pick Top Romantic Movies
Money can't buy love? Tell that to these professional matchmakers who have devoted themselves to bringing soulmates together. It's not as cheap as posting on Craigslist, but their success rate is exponentially higher, and there's little to no chance your blind date turns out to be a serial killer. In honor of Valentine's Day, we asked these experts to pick the three most romantic movies of all time. Some are predictable, some are original, and some are just plain embarrassing.
Name: Samantha Daniels
Title and Organization: Founder and President, Samantha's Table Matchmaking
Best Celeb Couple: Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
Recommended First Date: "I only set people up for drinks, where you can sit down and focus on each other at a table. It's less pressure, you're only committing for an hour or an hour and a half at a time, and then if you're hitting it off, you can go out another time."

The Most Romantic Movies:
1. Titanic (1997): "I just thought Titanic was so romantic because these people met at a really difficult time and they were two people from totally different backgrounds, and they found each other and had this moment and then he died -- and she was sort of carrying that love for him through her whole life."
2. An Affair to Remember (1957): "It was supposed to be that if they were meant to be they'd see each other at the Empire State Building but fate intervened, but then fate intervened again to bring them together. I think it was all kind of about fate."
3. One Fine Day (1996): "The movie was just in the course of one day, but you kind of felt like they were going to be together forever just because of their chemistry."
Name: Lisa Clampitt
Title and Organization: Co-founder and Executive Director, Matchmaking Institute
Best Celeb Couple: Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward
Recommended First Date: "I would say if you go out to dinner, do something interactive like a fondue place, or a tapas place where you can share food, or a wine tasting gathering where you're able to have a discussion, where it's not just the two of you staring at each other."

The Most Romantic Movies:
1. When Harry Met Sally (1989): "I like the longevity of the relationship before it turned into this romantic love type of thing; Hollywood usually has love at first sight from the beginning, but this is kind of romantic while being a little bit real."
2. 50 First Dates (2004): "It's so embarrassing but I have seen that movie probably 35 times. I love happy endings. And when she wakes up on the boat at the end of the movie and she has this family...every time I see it I cry."
3. Harold and Maude (1971): "[Harold] is empty and depressed and eccentric and loves going to funerals. And he meets Ruth Gordon, who's this 79-year-old woman, and she's everything that he's never had in his life. The pure meaning of life is embodied in her and he falls in love with her because she makes him feel alive."

Name: Amber Kelleher-Andrews
Title and Organization: Co-founder and CEO, Kelleher & Associates
Best Celeb Couple: Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward are the best.
Recommended First Date: "I always recommend people find a nice restaurant that has a comfortable lounge/bar area to sit and have a drink -- if things ends up clicking you can just casually move into dinner."

The Most Romantic Movies:
1. Out of Africa (1985): "Hands down the best. The soundtrack is mesmerizing, plus the footage of Africa -- and then you have these two great actors. Everything about it is so incredibly romantic."
2. Heaven Can Wait (1978): "It shows that your soul and your heart belong to a soulmate, and no matter what body you're occupying -- past lives, new lives -- you'll always connect with that person again."
3. The English Patient (1996): "I remember her carrying him out of the cave. He was so in love with her, and it was just a beautifully done movie."
