What's Your Favorite Thanksgiving Movie?
These days, going over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house can be elating ... or a royal pain, depending on your mood and the moods of your relatives. Whatever the mood, a good Thanksgiving movie is always a fine prescription for fun. But what kind of Thanksgiving movie do you prefer? The happy ones, the realistic ones, the romantic ones or the depressing ones? This Thanksgiving, you're the decider, right here at Future of Classic.

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance or just about any John Wayne western where he says, "Pilgrim!" Loved to watch those over Thanksgiving with my dad. In fact, wrote a story about that in this month's Catholic Digest.
how cool is that? do you have a link?
The coolest part was being able to give my dad the copy of it.(He nearly died three times last year--including around Thanksgiving). It's unfortunately not clickable on the CD site. Dad was my movie pal growing up. It was weird that Ptolemy Tompkins posts and viewing this AMC blog were catalysts of the writing process. And how cool is that? Happy Thanksgiving. Best always.
