In your comments, some of you have suggested that AMC start running the Alfred Hitchcock Hour and Alfred Hitchcock Presents (trivia: Hitch directed only 17 of 270 episodes). Along those lines, I thought I'd give you a little treat: the always-eerie Alfred Hitchcock Hour introduction - with the master saying his signature "Good evening" after the opening. 

I cannot tell you how this opening used to spook me when I was a wee little lad: the Gothic house of horror, the piercing owl eyes, the dead, scraggly hanging tree.  Well, just watch, and remember.
