The Bourne Ultimatum -- Matt Damon stars in the best Bourne yet, fast, dark and mysterious.
El Cantante -- It's actually good! JoLo and Anthony sizzle in a semi-cliche plot. But the music: oh, the music!
Becoming Jane -- Anne Hathaway is Jane Austen as a 20 year old. Holden in the New York Times calls it a "triumph for Anne Hathaway, who brings to the young Jane the same jittery wide-eyed intensity she displayed in The Devil Wears Prada."
Becoming Jane has my vote. I love those literary biographical movies with all the historical atmosphere. Not to mention old-fashioned romance. Don't recall seeing any previews for it this summer and our family of five has already afforded a record number of movies this season. The awards shows should be good...at least I'll know more than half of what's up for stuff this time around. Thanks for the footage and heads up! Just discovered this AMC site section. Love it!
