I've seen the original movie "Champ" at the theater and it was a real tear-jerker. Ricky Schroder from the known TV series NYPD had played the son of Jon Voight who was the champ. I honestly don't know how Samuel L. Jackson fits it. Jackson is an equally fine actor as Voight but no, I don't get it. Speaking of Voight, I was watching an old movie on TCM and couldn't help noticing the child actor who played in Mame,(Rosaline Russell's character). Was that young boy Jon Voight?
MY MOM IS 85 AND LOVES THE DUKE! he was as regular in our home as any relitive. i also was disappointed with the list. everyone talked about seabea's and other's but not one mention of the green berets. on saturday's me and my dad used to fold laundry and watch john wayne movies! only in america can you grow up like that. my husband and i have shared alot of his movies with our children, black and white flicks arn't cool to young ones today, but they enjoy the army flicks, and she wore a yellow ribbon. Hatari and donavan's reef. There was one black and white I'd seen when i was young- probably late sixty's, he was a diver in jamacia i think, and a hurricane hits where he lives. Does anyone out there know the name of this picture? please post. and if any producer's from amc is reading these, could you guy's show some old charlie chan movies? I used to watch them at 3a.m. when my mom closed & locked the pub for cleaning. it would be great to see some of them again-I just loved that little chinaman!!!!!
