In this 1974 release, Gene Wilder as Dr. Frederick Frankenstein is determined to put his family's reputation behind him and insists his name be pronounced "Fronckensteen," but he soon succumbs to temptation. The result, ultimately, is his creation of a soft-shoe stepping Frankenstein's monster played by Peter Boyle. Madeline Khan as Dr. Frankenstein's wife, Teri Garr as his voluptuous assistant and Marty Feldman as his shuffling, bug-eyed assistant add to the cast.

Is there anyway DVD on TV "Young Frankenstein" can be replayed because I totally forgot to record the movie last night. If this can happen, I would really appreciate it. If not, I understand.
Young Frankenstein is my favorite movie . I have the DVD, but saw the version with the interesting history as sub-titles last night. I love the information about how the movie and characters were developed. I would really like to buy that version. Is there a way I could do this ???
