I think the production value on this film is rather high, but fear? Granted it started out with fear, but the "twist" felt forced to me, and why waste precious seconds out of the whole 60 you get to drive it home, with a pinch shot of the creature floating in the pool? Yes, it's a top 20 video by quality, but did I feel fear, or forced humor?

Watching this video I relived the complete rush of extreme fear and deep anxiety on trash night as a kid. Your video completely captured the dread and despair of being asked to take out the trash, when knowing there were monsters lurking in the dark of night! So professional, so engaging, simply awesome!

Cinebex, I appreciate your critique. As a kid I was truly afraid of taking out the trash at night. I feel based on the feedback I’ve gotten that it’s a general fear a lot of people have. The injection of humor represents the irony I felt when I realized monsters weren’t in fact real and just a fear lingering in my subconscious. Thanks for the positive feedback though. What I love about film is that different people walk away with different perspectives on the same thing. Thank you for sharing yours. =)

I actually work in television in a top 10 market and keep my eye on these boards for future talent, and when our interns have work up- so take my criticism for what it's worth in your mind. Perhaps you missed the main point of my post - that I truly think Mr. Reeb's film, who is obviously mature and highly talented, was a great piece. I just didn't feel the fear that many people do. As he noted, it's a matter of opinion and perspective. Don't discredit criticism because you wish to have the directors' babies.

To Mr. Reeb - Keep on making good work. But muzzle the dogs, because it reflects on you.
