I was wondering if Aaron's tattoo on his hand real? It sorta looks like Brad Pitt's in the Oceans trilogy? Thanks.
Is it here and I've missed it?!? Yes, I found one on the web, but we need one here! He looked so dapper that night - reminded me a bit of 1940's era actor, Errol Flynn. I'm putting in a formal request for a pic of Cranston and his now steady girl, Emmy. Or maybe him with BOTH his Emmys! What a cool set of bookends!!!
Robbed you were robbed.! In all of my TV watching years have I ever seen an actor put so much heart, soul and feeling into a role. Aaron Paul you had me on Sunday nights with my breath sucked in, kicked in the gut. heart breaking and in tears for Jesse Pinkman. You did such an amazing job this year on Breaking Bad I hope you know that. We love you Aaron. And the adward should have gone to Aaron Paul, best supporting actor in a drama.
Aaron was robbed at the emmys! He is outstanding in his role. My heart just breaks as I watch the struggles Jessie goes through
I just found what I would consider a pretty glaring error on the CNN entertainment page. It has a slideshow of all the Emmy nominees, but the picture of Aaron Paul is captioned as Bryan Cranston. Did someone fall asleep?
Oh God...I've become one of "those people"!
In one of the other threads I started, "How do we know when he's being Heisenberg.....?" I happened to mention seeing a couple of movies recently that featured actors from "Breaking Bad" : I ran across the 2005 film, "American Gun" on TV the other night and recognized the voice of Dean Norris ("Hank") in a small role, even before his face appeared on the screen! And Aaron Paul ("Jesse") co-stars in this year's, "Last House on the Left," which recently came out on DVD. I ordered a showing of it on "Movies On Demand." Our Aaron is a very bad boy in this movie, and wow,, does he pay for it! It was suggested that we start a thread where we can post such info. on where we can catch the amazingly talented actors (male & female, cast, recurring characters & guest stars) of "Breaking Bad" while we await Season 3. So...here it is. All contributions welcome!
If any body has a copy of the April 1999 issue of Swank, Check it out. If that is not Krysten Ritter, then it's her double. She is listed as Corrine in this issue. If you have it check it out, and reply with a post. Also, does anyone know if she is related to John Ritter? Thanks.
I have to give credit to Walkercolt for this one. After reading a comment he left on a previous thread about whether Vince Gilligan was a fan of the Rock Band "The Who", I beleive he is. I love the music of "The Who", grew up listening to it. When I started thinking about this question more, it Clicked. I look at the Character of Jesse and see Jimmy from "Quadrophenia". The Baggy coats and all, awkward, never quite fitting in. I can see Jesse now riding that Vespa Motor scooter with all the chrome and mirrors. Like Jimmy from Quadrophenia, Jesse is all F'ed up on Drugs and living aimlessly for today. And if I were going to assign a theme song from Quadrophenia to Jesse it would have to be "I'm one".
Without taking anything away from the Walt and Jesse drama, Skyler is pissed and about ready to divorce Walt. She's almost got the goods on Walt and she's chasing Ted as a consolation prize. The potential for a "battle of the sexes" and all that conflict is locked and loaded at the finale of Season 2. Also, I think highly of Anna Gunn and would like to see her nominated for an Emmy after Season 3. Not to sound politically correct here (because I'm not!), but I think the series needs its women to become powerful forces in the stories without infringing on the main plot and premise. I mean, how will we ever really know Walter Hartwell White, unless he's forced to deal with a challenging woman?
Oh how I would love to see Frankie Munez do a cameo in Breaking Bad with some interaction with Bryans character. (writers - hint, hint)
Add your comments here so the show gets more coverage and Aaron Paul gets the nomination he so totally deserves.

I'm going to take this time to congratulate Vince Gilligan, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Dean Norris, RJ Mitte, and the rest of the actors and Breaking Bad staff on giving us one of the best seasons in television drama, Ever! The acting, production, writing, and directing was all phenomenal. Bryan Cranston well deserves another award. Good Luck on season 3, although I don't see how your ever going to be able to top season 2 lol. Congratulations.
those baddies such as skinny pete, spooge, spooge's wife, and wendy... are they just really good actors/actresses? or are they being themselves??
The fans of Breaking Bad, would like to welcome the new addition, to your family!!!
Girl or Boy? What did you name, your lil' one?
Not trying to be nosy...just excited for you!
Hugs! =)
Aaron Paul has done a number of movies and television programs, but has never been as well recognized as he is in Breaking Bad. I myself believe he needs to be noticed for his work in Breaking Bad and by that I mean a Emmy or The Peoples Choice Award if not by some other means. Whats your opinion and feedback?
Great video from the band. I know Danny trejo is supposed to make a cameo in the upcoming episode. I bet that's him in one of the scenes (his face is blurred out)
Also the person dressed up like walt ( ala heisenberg) that guy looks too skinny to be walt, although his back is facing the camera.
hmmm questions.
Breaking Bad's Bryan Crantson and Aaron Paul appreared on E's "The Soup" this past Friday night.
Both men funny, charming and devestatingly handsome, (sure its a suck up but best to add that part just in case they're out there watching) be sure to catch them on one of the 1/2 dozen reruns airing on E all week long.
i am a big fan of bryan cranston, including BB and all of its wonder. is bry-cran have any new projects coming up outside of BB?
Hi all, just an fyi, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are holding a live online chat Thursday 3/5 at 3 pm (ET)/noon (PT) on fancast.com. Get your questions and comments ready for the guys - it should be fun!
(BTW - Fancast has the season 1 finale up if you want to watch it again to prepare for season 2:)
I'm wondering if their going to "kill off" Detective Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) in The Closer so Cruz can expand his role of Tuco...another great character in this excellent show !
I am so proud of Bryan for winning the Emmy. I knew it was a long shot but he so deserved it. Can not wait till the new season!!!!!
I absolutely love "Breaking Bad" as it is completely unique as a TV show and I love the characters.
I would like to know a little more about the kids in the Chemistry Class. I don't see them listed in the credits anywhere .They look like they all get along so well. I was wondering if we have seen any of them before in either TV or movies.
I am also glad that there is going to be a Season 11. I love Bryan Cranston's portrayal as the "anyman" caught in a really bad situation, and a really unique way to provide for his family, albeit illegal,.I understand his motivation.
We need more unique shows like this and then TV wouldn't be so boring. The only thing I could have done without was the "bathtub" scene (crashing through the ceiling) but the rest of it was truly original.
Keep up the good work !!! You Rock !!!

This is great news. I love this show and pleasantly surprized when Bryan Cranston won. He deserves it.
Could someone please tell me what type of Hood Jesse is wearing in episode 4 and where I can get those kinds of hoods, It would fit perfect to my Jeans ^^
I just got back today, from a visit to New Mexico. This trip was planned long before I even knew anything about Breaking Bad, because my in-laws live there. Anyway, in their local paper, there was a wire story that the new season would begin filming today, July 15. There weren't a lot of other details in the particular snippet that I read, but Pamala told me that she found a longer version of the same story which talked about how the production of this show was helping their economy.
I think that I read a comment quite a while back that Walt's school was actually called Eldorado. If that is the case, I saw the back side of this school from Montgomery Blvd. on the NE side of the city. I didn't recognize any part of it other than the name.
I did see the trashy motel where Jesse likes to hang out. It's easily visible from the interstate. (Actually, it didn't look THAT bad. I only saw it for a split second, but there were several places that looked a lot worse near where we stayed!)
I didn't see anyone famous, but most of our time was spent in other parts of the state and we were only in Albuquerque for three nights. I did see someone who kinda sorta looked like Bryan Cranston eating at La Placita in the Old Town. I wasn't able to look the guy full in the face, but he looked like Bryan in a generic sort of way. I finally discounted that it was him, because I didn't think the woman who was with this person looked enough like Bryan's wife, not that it means anything. (But again, she resembled her in a superficial way.) If it was him, I missed my chance!
There are a few remaining seats open at the LA Times Q&A screening in Hollywood -- SEE HERE:

Bryan Cranston stars in "The Big Thing" - a wacky comedy feature that just came out on DVD. His performance is the highlight of an otherwise silly story.

Is this kid for real or is he an extremely gifted actor? My wife and I love the sideline of the sticky-handed sister. I personally loved the episode where the Brother in Law takes the son to the Meth Motel, dead nuts on and hilarious. The tell-tale rotting teeth says it all.
This is the first TV series since Twin Peaks that I would call art. This show rocks! Profuse thanks to everyone involved for providing us with this beautiful series - I really enjoy being able to look forward (excitedly) to the next episode.
I love every actor, but I must admit being partial to Aaron Paul. He is completely amazing. I thought about him, his character, and just what it is that makes a great actor all day today. Keep pushing it, make it explode. I wish the censors would give this show free rein to do whatever the hell it wants. (I wish that about all shows, but this one really deserves the freedom to go wherever it is that it needs to go.) Just beautiful. And Aaron, if you're ever in Cleveland, look me up, PLEASE. Thanks again to all involved for the ART.
Now is your chance to get the inside scoop on Breaking Bad. Got any questions for creator Vince Gilligan? AMC will be sending them his way this Wednesday, March 5. Post your most burning queries here by Tuesday night, and then watch for his answers in an upcoming video interview.
This last episode is another example of the excellence that is Breaking Bad. This is honestly one of the most poignant shows I have ever watched. And I am a little hesitant to say I love it for fear it will be canceled (that seems to happen to good shows... Anyways, a few things that are excellent:
1) The camera work is truly unique. I loved the single shot of Walt in his bathroom, about to shave his hair off- truly unique and forward-thinking, but also nostalgic in a way.
2) Walter, jr. deserves an Emmy already. My younger brother has similar disabilities and it is amazing to see a realistic, punk-kid trying to buy beer, who also has a disability. But I didn't appreciate the playing of reggae music when Walt was getting together the glassware supplies. People who smoke weed associate with reggae and think meth is scary. I'm sure that isn't true for everyone- but I personally didn't appreciate it.
On that note- I think that Walt's character should be doing much more pot-smoking. Seriously, there are the obvious benefits- but also think about chemo and all of the relief it might offer. Those are my thoughts. I'll be looking forward to next Sunday!
One of our loyal commenters, JP Bordon, has recently posted an interesting topic:
I don't know what possessed Bryan Cranston to take this challenging role but kudos. Great first script, editing and directing. I have not seen him in anything but sitcoms and he usually played that comedic frantic father role. I could always see great performance even in those rolls but because of the high profile of Fox's Malcolm in the Middle I was afraid he was doomed to play this type cast forever.
I really think he wont be looked at the same after this. All I can say is WOW, great move and great depth as an actor! --JP Bordon
I think JP makes a great point, because Walt White is both in line with, and at the same time a total departure from Cranston's role on Malcolm in the Middle. They're both devoted family men, and both give off this sense of reluctance about almost every facet of their lives. And yet Walt is so different--I can't see Hal breaking bad, but for Walt it was not only understandable, it seemed inevitable.
What do you think the differences between the two characters are? Has Bryan Cranston broken new ground or reshaped it?
