Talk: Breaking Bad: February 2012

A place to shoot a episode

I would like to offer my hotel for an area for season 5 to shoot FREE of charge as long as I get a opportunity to have a line as a extra in the series. Absolutley no strings attached

SEASON 4 DVD

WHY THE HELL DO THEY TAKE 20YRS TO GET THE SEASON 4 DVD OUT. THIS CRAP SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUT DURING CHRISTMAS.

Season 5? Why wait? WE can write our own!!! LOL Here's my opener...

A cute strawberry blond girl is outside on a bench on a college campus. She is smiling and talking on her cell phone to her dad. After a moment or two, the audience realizes that this is Holly White, 18 or 19 years in the future. She seems happy on this sunny day.

Cut to close up of Walt, older, and worse for the wear. We can only see he is wearing a white T-shirt, and the room is dimly lit. They talk about her courses, he asks about her brother. His faces softens. We can hear voices in another room. Is it English? No, Spanish. There is a quiet argument. Some metallic banging noises ping a few times in the background.

The camera pans across Walt’s face to his right, we see that he is talking on a land line phone, not a cell phone. The camera pans back slowly and we see he is some sort of facility…

10 more official behind the scene photos

A week ago AMC put up a blog called 'Photos - Behind the Scenes of Breaking Bad Season 4' with 10 new behind the scene photos. Since then, 10 additional photos have been added! They never brought it up yet on the blog but here's where they begin.

Plot hole?

I've been re-watching BrBa via Netflix streaming recently and have a question about the first season. After the major drama of dissolving Emilio in the bathtub, Walt kills Crazy 8 and then...what? There was no mention of how he disposed of that body, unless I missed something. We did see him on an overpass, looking down at the highway, but were we to assume he tossed Crazy 8 into traffic? That doesn't make sense. So, the question is: what happened to Crazy 8's dead body? Anyone?

Is there more than one Gus Fring?

I am not satisfied that the cook, (Maximino Arciniega), killed pool side by Hector Salamanca at Don Eladio’s, was the other brother in Los Pollos Hermanos. There could be a brother we have not met or do not know we have met. If Gus’ brother is his twin, then the two brothers could have been impersonating each other all along. If so, that would explain why Gus claims fear is a poor motivator while the other Gus brutally murders Victor with no explanation. It might also explain the house Gus claims was his when he had Walter over for dinner. I have read that Gus will be back for season 5. Will he be back as himself, “the other twin”, or in a flashback?

I designed a Breaking Bad t-shirt

to express my love for this show :)

You can buy it for 10 clams over at www.teefury.com today, and on this day only.

It's the Heisenberg-drawing from season 3, depicted with Walt's signature blue meth.

What happened to all of Jesse's stuff?

After Hanks visits Jesse’s Mom, while looking for Walt, she goes over to Jesses’ and discovers his lab in the basement. Later when he comes home from being kidnapped by Tuco, Jesse is evicted from his house by his parents. His Mom has all of the furniture in the house removed and put into storage. She promises he can have it back. But he never gets it back. Will he ever get his stuff back?

Only for "The Regs" Here @ "Breaking Bad":

Totally "Off Topic"...but, some of ya'll will understand...

Season 4

when will Season 4 be available for sale on dvd???

If every scene from Season 1 to 4 were played sequentially

Which would be first? Gus' standoff with El Delado (sp?). Walt and Gretchen discussing the human body/soul?
How cool would it be to see the whole thing laid end to end, sequentially?

'Breaking Bad' Creator Vince Gilligan Extends Deal with Sony Pictures TV

http://tv.yahoo.com/news/breaking-bad-creator-vince-gilligan-extends-deal-sony-170505824.html

Just when I think I am out, they drag me back in...

I am sure that's what Walt will be saying.
I guess watching stick up the ass people working regular jobs is boring. But, I had no respect for low life street thugs. Our country looks like bottom of the barrel. Breaking Bad has put a new light on people here in the USA. trying to survive, doing what they have to. One must have respect for the work and risks they take, like the guys in Gold Rush. I can see how people can be proud of their lives in this mess.

Thank you so much

I just wanted to express my thanks to the creator of the show, Vince Gilligan, and the entire team who made it possible for me and my family to enjoy Breaking Bad on television every week.
For me, Breaking Bad is more than just a show. You see, I never really had a good relationship with my parents, but the last 2 years it’s been getting out of control. About 70% of the communication in the house was made up of fighting and yelling, and my parents would get mad at me and my little brother for little to no reason. Dinner time has been very quiet for the past couple of months. It even got so far out of hand that my dad gave me two suitcases to pack, and the plan was for me to go and live at a friends’ house.
But then something happened that changed all of that. I have been following BB for about a year now, and I’ve been urging my mother to watch it too, since one of the few things I have in common with my mother is our love for fiction and good movies/series/books. It aired in the Netherlands (where I live) last month, and she finally started watching it with me and my little brother. She fell in love with the show and bought the season 2 DVD box, which she watched in its entirety yesterday. Now finally we talk again, you guessed it, about Breaking Bad! Dinner isn’t awkward anymore, and even my dad (who normally hates all the TV shows me or my mom watch) joins in on the conversations because he has watched some of the season 2 episodes with us. My dad also suffered from cancer, so he can relate to Walt on another level entirely, which adds a nice, personal, perspective to our conversations. This has paved to way to other ways of communicating, and now the mood in the house is very light. We talk normally to each other again and me and my brother are allowed much more freedom.

So you see Mr. Gilligan, to me Breaking Bad is much more than just an awesome TV show. To me it’s the show that reunited my family!

PTI

I am new to AMC. Apparently there is no contact us . . . or open forum blogs so . . . I just wanted to say that today there should be an all day football movie marathon to prep for the super bowl. Thanks.

Hank is back on Pinkman's trail !

With Walt heading the Cartel now, Pinkman is his top Cappo. Hank has no idea Walt is the new Don, but Pinkman soon becomes Hank's new target, continuing his lone insights into the search for the guilty parties involved in the recent shake-up down south. Final episode: Hank discovers Walt, and the showdown begins....and ends....how????

Walt becomes the head of the Cartel

Since Walt has successfully assassinated the man responsible for killing Don Eladio and his Cappos, he has to become it's new leader---El Patrone Heisinberg. He can't stop now, he has to claim the spoils, or die. It's the only way he can possibly make it through to the final episode. Then he crafts his own death, but does he really die, or is it staged. That's my idea for the final season.

HULU PLUS? VUDU?

Does anyone know if BB will be coming to HULU PLUS? That would be awesome if it would! It's not worth it in my situation to pay a cable provider and get locked into a contract and have to get a hddvr etc when I could move before than. Anyway I use HULU PLUS for about 90 percent of my T.V. anyway now with Fringe, Vampire Diaries, The Office, Law and Order SVU, Animes, Misfits etc. It's annoying to go anywhere but there or Netflix. I-tunes is annoying at times and I HATE HOW IT DOWNLOADS SD and HD and all the features and you have to wait for ever just to get one episode. Amazon is better but still annoying (yet it's worth it the quality is better since it's not streaming), Netflix is great, VUDU is great but annoying at times because of buffering! HULU PLUS is the best.

My List of "CLUES"

Hey Breaking Bad fans. Here is my list of "clues" that I think fore tells what we have in store for Season 5. Of course this is just what I am noticing and you might not think this important at all. If anyone can dismiss all these "coincidences" I would love to hear why they just don't matter!

Season One
Ep. 1. How did Walt kill his first victim?
Ep. 7. Making the thermite in kitchen. What was the example of thermites effectiveness did Walt tell Jessie?

Season Two
Ep. 7. DEA office in Texas. What does Hank say you don't wear when trying to catch "somone"?

Season 3.
Ep.5. Gus telling Walt in the lab what a man does. ( Ya, that's a stretch)
Ep.7. Young Hector on the cell phone. Who is the "Big Generalissimo"? What makes
South Americans "dirty,dirty people"?
Ep.9. What is the trademark at the bottom of the TV ad?

Season 4.
Ep. 2. At Jessies house. Badger and Skinny Pete. Their not just zombies their what?
Ep 4. Hank talking to Walt about a case he is working on. Who is the "mystery man" and
what was he?

Ep.7. Hank in DEA office. Who owns Los Pollos Hermanos?
Why wasn't Madrigal Electrmotive paid for air filter?
Why did Madrigals lawyer ask Hank for his badge number?

Ep. 8. Mike, nothing on Gus before 89.
At Pool. "They don' look like brothers to me" ????
At pool. Don Eladio" I know who you are" Who ? " You're not in Chile" So?

What all does Madrigal own?
What was "3 Days of the Condor" about?
Ep.12. Marie asks Hank why he can't make Walt come to house. His answer?
Maries response to Hanks answer?
Gomez says the laundry is clean. Hank "So he says" ???

Badger and Skinny Pete's Movie Night

Looking to get together again as a community after all the fun we had on SAG night we're going to try having a movie night here every couple weeks. Simple and hopefully fun we'll meet here on this thread and watch a movie on TV together. Looking to tie it in some fashion to Breaking Bad I've picked out first movie with the notion of it being something Badger and Skinny Pete might sit, watch and enjoy together.

Our first choice will be "Saturday Night Fever" airing on AMC this Saturday night.

Show is kind of a matter of who is interesting in attending.
Showing at 8 (this one has story notes) and 10 I'll leave the time to a poll on who wants to come.
Do want to come? Can you come? What time?
Awww come on... it'll be fun!

I know this is highly unlikely, but………

Can anyone tell me whom I would contact about acting as a stand in for Breaking Bad? For years now, people have told me I have a striking resemblance to Bryan Cranston’s character. I have a home in Albuquerque. I’ll be there any way, so I thought, “why not ask if they need a stand in?” The worst that could happen is they say no. Thank you.
