Red Herrings

I think we can forget Gus as "General" and as "son of war criminal" and so forth.

That MUST have been a tease put in by the writers for us to have one thing more to chew on. They may have read our speculating and enjoyed it. It seems likely.

I don't think there was any place to go with his lineage as a realistic meaningful story anyway.

Can we officially put that aspect to rest, along with Gustavo Fringenstein or "Der Fringler"?

Of course he now can carry on with a profitable future as a Halloween mask. Could he not...
