Talk: Breaking Bad: October 2011
Does anyone know when season 5 will start?
Can't Leave it like that!
Jesse's haircut
What kind of haircut does jesse have throughout season 4?
Language issues
If, in fact, Gustavo was raised in Chile, his Spanish should have been infinitely better. He sounds out words rather poorly, and, to those of us who are fluent in more than one language, it represent the weakest link on this show. All spanish speakers sounded American which took major credibility away. One step away from perfect-the devil is in the details.
Breaking Bad Season 4 Cudos
Walt only risked Brock because,at that point, he would have done anything to protect his own family and in reality it was the only option. He NEEDED Jesse on his side to be able to eliminate Gus. Walt is brilliant with a a dash of extreme luck here and there. The ONLY way to regain Jesse's loyalty was for Walt to make it look the way it did.
He needed it to be someone Jesse cared about. Brock was the perfect "gamble". A child, remember Gus used children to do his dirty work and cared not for their safety, He needed it to NOT be Ricin BUT a POISON non the less.
Walt anticipated Jesse would sense betrayal and jealousy from Walt (due to his ego). So Walt KNEW Jesse would suggest poison i.e. Ricin in the hospital. Sensing the knife in his back presumably by Walt himself he sought him out to kill him. But all the while Walt knew Jesse would ultimately be safe/ detained (because it wasn't Ricin) Which then solidifies Walt's following argument.
This would send the medical team down that logic of a diagnosis of poisons. Remember Walt's words as Jesse is standing over him pointing a gun to his face while laughing, "Can't you see Gus has been 10 steps ahead of me the entire time (but at this point Walt was already working his plan and was many steps ahead of Gus and Jesse).
He makes Jesse realize how all Gus needed was Jesse's permission to off Walt for good and making it look like Walt poisoned Brock was the perfect excuse. Walt convinced Jesse that since Gus was always ahead he knew about the Ricin, he knew about their desire to kill him (Gus)and that is why Walt is able to convince Jesse that Gus constructed this "Perfect and elaborate" plan to sever all friendship and Jesse's for Walt and would actually have Jesse KILL WALT.
Walt was playing EVERYONE from the get go in the finale. He knew how Jesse would react, he knew he could convince him it was just a brilliantly twisted plot by Gus to end Walt's life.
Walt definitely manipulated Jesse, but it was necessary. Walt definitely took a wild risk by using Brock as the catalyst, but per Walt's expression upon finding out he (Brock) would make it, Walt was elated. The fact that the poison was derived from a local plant made all of the pieces fall into place and made the ending much more believable for Jesse and acceptable.
But Walt's ultimate gamble was relying on the old man to agree to martyr himself. The way that whole situation played out was beautiful as well. Going down to the DEA office and only wanting to speak to Hank, the one DEA agent that expected any such foul play and the only one (Walt's brother in-law) snooping around the laundry business.
By giving the DEA no information it looked as if he was ratting Gus out for all of his misdeeds towards his family. Walt knew that Gus would find this information out and act irrationally due to them being enemies.
Walt knew via Saul's message from Jesse that he enjoyed torturing this old man and he (Gus) would ultimately kill him himself because it was personal. There were no cameras, no surveillance and it was a for sure thing.
Walt was beyond words in that finale. The plot was so twisted yet completely connected. I could not have asked for a better ending to Season 4.
Bravo to the writers, staff and all who make this show possible. This is without a doubt the most intriguing show on the air. I am however very disappointed about rumors that season 5 will be the final season.
I beg anyone who reads this and agrees forward this to the writers, producers, actors, hell even your congressmen. We MUST keep Breaking Bad going. It is too perfect to let go.
Thank you for your time.

Yellow means slow. Green means Go!
Now that we've had a week to absorb the amazing events of season four's climactic finale, I want to open this thread to discuss the BB's art direction and filming technique. There's been no discussion that I can find of this element to the show's success. Let's just start with the dramatic use of primary colors. Particularly yellow and green. You can find these hues in practically every shot. The lab's realm is appropriately deep red indicating the harsh evil that occurs there. Hank's world is cool and blue waiting to rise and destroy Walt. The exterior of the police station is trimmed in blue railings and blue traffic bumpers displaying the thin blue line. His clueless wife of course is usually dressed hilariously head to toe in lavender. Yuk! Vince Gilligan said in an interview that his favorite moments of the show occur in moments when the characters aren't even speaking so we should pay close attention to the other tools he uses to push the narrative. It's pretty clear to even casual observers that yellow and green are especially important so I'd like to hear what you think. Did you catch what happened as Walt and Jesse were leaving the lab in flames? Check their back pockets when they strip off their hazmat suits. Bright yellow rags. Cut to the next shot wiping the blue washing machine and with the smoke rising behind them, they walk toward freedom. With their victory in hand, they each toss aside Gus's yellow rags with contempt and literally strut to ...what? I love what Gilligan and his team have done with art direction and color. It's hard to overstate the extra impact these techniques bring to the interior shots especially. The exterior shots of the New Mexico horizon deserve a blog of their own also! I think I see the influence of Bertolucci and Paul Thomas Anderson there.
What happened to the two guys at the White household .
The two guys looking to kill Walt at his home are still alive as far as I can tell. What happens to these guys..who calls them off the job. Are they going to be happy they are out of work?
Am I missing something?
show got boring after season 2 epsisode 2
after tuco bit it, the show slowed down to a crawl. maybe they couldn't keep it up, but seems like they intentionally slowed it down once it got popular.

How Much Add Libbing?
I wonder if the characters on the show are allowed to add lib or put some of their own input into the show
THE DIRECTOR/PRODUCER, A LIL TO ACCURATE ?
Justs makes me wonder, how "Allen" who's writes the scripts, is so accurate in more ways than one, what his passed involvement in the meth game. Occurances that take place when your in/aund the meth game tottaly differ from say coke or Chiva involvement. Tweekers are a different breed, example: crack heads will steal your wallet, a tweeker will steal it then help you look for it! The scenarios that Jessie and me white go thrue are exactly what every manufacturer somehow goes up against, ex: rv won't start, open house commences why your in the middle of "reflux" (reaction ). I honestly don't see the script writer being able to literally put the aura that these situations give off unless having some past involvement!
Lily of the Valley
Did Walt do it? How?
Was anyone else thrown off by Gus making that threat?
He was so meticulous, it was way out of character. Why waste the time to make a threat? Doesn't make sense at all.
Clues in costume and casting
Walt's, Jesse's, Hank's and most of the other cast costumes played into basic assumptions about the kind of people they were, but notice how Fring's double life was mirrored in the clothes that he wore: a warm, friendly yellow shirt married with a cold, lifeless black tie and gray slacks. Notice also Fring's face: his eyes and mouth always verged on either gentle sympathy or utter disdain.
Bridge On the River Kwai/Breaking Bad Finale Parallel
At the end of Bridge On...Colonel Nicholson is knocked to the ground via a mortar shell...he staggers upright, dusts off his cap and then we realize he has a shrapnel wound and is dying - momentary suspense repeated when Fring emerges from Hector's room, and does his ritualistic adjusting of his tie ...then we see the OTHER side of his face....food for thought...
HelpHankWalk.com
I think the writers could have had junior create a website for Hank to solicit donations like he did for his dad. This would have been a great way for walt and sky to help with finances instead of the gambling lie. It also would have been cool because the very drug money that got hank shot, is the same money that's helping him walk again.. im sure there are reasons why they did not, as I am an amateur writer, they are the pros, but I was waiting for them to say, wait! we can start a website to help hank like you did with walt! and walt could funnel the money that way. kind of sick, but isn't that the nature of the show??? I am almost done with season 3, i haven't seen season for or the end of season 3 yet. is season 4 on dvd?
How many windshields has Walt's Aztek had?
I lost count at 4 or 5. I can't remember.
Was anyone else keeping track?
How many windshields will the poor old car go through in season 5? Will the car survive S5 of BB?
Your guesses, please.
What's with all the eye injuries?

Subliminal Political Messages in Breaking Bad ?
Interesting piece by Alex Jones exposing Subliminal Messaging in the media:
http://www.prisonplanet.com/subliminal-messages-exposed.html
The part relevant to Breaking Bad starts at about 3:10 mark but do watch it all. The scene referred to is in series 4 episode 4 about half way through the episode.
Happy Birthday Bob Odenkirk!!!!
Luv u Saul, Happy B-day!!
Jesse- From Student to Master
The transformation of Jesse to me is more intriguing than Walt's - in S4 alone from like E5 onward Jesse has completely become a prodigy, after the cartel blew that guy's head off and Jesse was just standing there, since then he is clutch but still maturung as an adult, he owned the Cartel in the Mexico lab standing up to the head Chemist then producing 96% pure, then killed 2 at long range with a simple gun, and saved both Mikes' & Gus' life. I don't see the end of S5 as Jesse vs. Walt, I see as Jesse saving Walt from suicide, or Jesse & Andrea wedding - I think S5 will end positively not with some killing or explosion, and somehow in S5 Jesse will save Hank's life as well.
heres an idea
everyone thinks wallt is gonna die by some killing him or the cancer. how bout this, to show how theres consquences no matter what in the end everyone finds out walts secrets the dea his family hank marie jesse and his big lies to him and everyone else are somehow uncovered and he kills himself like he tryed in the pilot
$$$..FINAL EPISODE SHOULD BE A MOVIE..$$$
Could you imagine how much money the show could make if the final episode was a movie? I would gladly pay the cost of admission, especially after (what will be) five years of kick ass entertainment. And besides, seeing all of the on the big screen would be pretty awesome. Of course it won't happen, but how many of you would have no problem with paying to see the final episode? And if not, why?

Now what happens?
Gus is dead. The lab is destroyed. The big bosses of theMexican cartel is dead. Can the story continue, AND still be entertaining and interesting as it has been thus far?
Who took a picture of Jesse and Walt shaking hands?
As Jesse and Walt stand on the top level of the Hopital's parking lot, as they shake hands, from a different perspective, maybe from behind a concrete column, you hear a single click as if someone was taking snap shot from their camera.
Broc poisoned himself...And who has the ricin?
At the end of episode 4-13, Jesse is telling Walt about The Lilly Of The Valley plant. The doctors said it was a common plant and kids would eat the berries and poison themselves. That makes more sense to me than Walt preparing a poison and somehow giving it to Broc. And the fact that Walt has one of those plants in his backyard is just a hell of a coincidence, after all, it is a common plant.
And now for the million dollar question: Who has the ricin? Not Jesse, he was ready to kill Walt because he though Walt poisoned Broc with it. Could Saul have wound up with it after Jesse was frisked? Or was it taken from Jesse's locker in the super lab?
Did Huell eat it thinking the ricin was rice-n-gravy?
hmmmmmm,, looks like we have another mystery on our hands....
Please Vince Gilligan I'm begging you to drop the Walt poisoning Brock Storyline
The more I think about it the dumber it seems to have Walt just do this out of nowhere. Now granted Walt kills people and has done some very bad things. But if you where going to have him go this bad why didnt you script it plausibly in a way where It did nt have so many holes. And in a way that doesnt make sense to the characters. I mean having it be that Huell took the cig is stupid. OK so he is all of the sudden capable of shaking down Jesse right in front of his face when he couldnt even coerce cooperation from someone as stupid as Ted? Then there's Walt. VG said in an interview that Walt is a good liar. Since when? He is sort of bumbling in the lying department even this season. But out of nowhere he can lie convincingly? Then there's his knowledge of the people involved. So he is all of the sudden aware af Brock and knows where he lives or goes to school? And if you expect me to believe Saul would be complicit in this plot that makes the least sense of all. Really it's a big plot hole. It seems like you were worried that AMC wouldnt give you another season and had to force everyone in these strange directions to make Walt more evil then is reasonable at this stage in his evolution. Walt is a bad person but the thing that has made him so intriuging as a character is that he slips farther and farther into darkness but it is done in a way that it is like a frog boiling in a pot. It's more subtle then having him Darth Vader out now. That was my worst fear for this my favorite show. I that it would become Darth Vader all over again. Taking a alright person to an unrealistically evil person without having the patience to ease that change.
An Off The Wall Though
This show is famous for throwing a monkey wrench into our predictions. Im wondering if they may bring in some of Tyruss friends trying to find out who killed him. That would be a twist
Jesse's jacket, yo
what if the ricin wasn't stolen but someone switched his jacket with different cigarette pack, yo?
Gus is NOT dead....yet
One of the great things about this series is how they bring back characters in the following season in 'flashbacks'. How about Gale. I think we saw him a few times and the same will occur in season 5 with Gus.
I am curious to see his history with the international conglomerate. There is someone bigger in the food chain than Gus in order to fund the lab. Was it 100 million to build the lab? I think Tyrus was part of the same international 'family/organization' and the family (Corleone equivalent) is going to seek punishment for Walt for killing one of the family.
A couple things that I have noticed in the series....
I would appreciate it, greatly, if others have noticed and could provide any answers or insight on my questions....
1: I noticed that every time they show Marie Shrader she has something purple on and/or purple decor inside of her house. Is it simply an inside joke among the cast/ crew or i s t more significant? Also, 2: every episode utilizes a see- thru- plastiboard, over the camera's lens, that either a character pours water/ throws dirt over/ (usually) from a ground's POV. I was wondering the significance of the purple with Marie, especially. If anyone has insight or even an opiniion.... let me know. CURIOUS as a cat over here.
Season 4 encore showings
I just finished the first 3 seasons on Netflix. When will Season 4 be available either on Netflix or on AMC? Nothing shows up on an AMC search for the next several weeks
Season 4 ended WAY too tidy
Don't get me wrong, I love the show, I loved season 4, and I loved the final episode. But Mike is going to be pissed! And Walt telling Skyler that "he won" with the calming music and the blue sky ending was just too damn tidy or perfect of an ending for me. I would have LOVED to have seen Mike getting the news about Gus' death while driving out of Mexico heading for Albuquerque at about 120mph with a gun in his hand. Now THAT's how you end a season of Breaking Bad!. Maybe that will be the opening scene of season 5. It's going to be a long off season.
Walter White 'I Won' music video 'Black' by Norah Jones
Loved the song selection they used to end the season and decided to expand upon it and take a look at Walter White's continued slip into darkness without revealing too many spoilers from the season. Figured Br Ba fans would enjoy it.

Boy of Boy last night was hard to get through without my BREAKING BAD looped from 7pm until 2am. We ate Halloween candy and watched Melissa McCarthy again on SNL. Love her too, Have a good one BB fans ONLY 9 more months until the season premire.......OMG ~! Really, DAMN

BrBa: Why TV's best story telling show must end in 2012:
A: No sane reason. It's insanity to crash the best story telling vehicle on TV. You can't tell me that if Vince & gang want to do other projects that they just couldn't radically change the best story vehicle with the same great imagination & skill they've been demonstrating with this BrBa crew and achieve that end. Am I missing something here? Michael Schumacker quit F1 as a champion, only to come back as an "also ran" a few years later in F1 with a new mediocre team, missing what he had. The best show most of the crew members will EVER be associated with... and they plan to break it up??? Insane. And taking for granted a once in a lifetime vehicle they are now a championship team formed around. Keep it going with whatever new blood and creativity it takes to keep the juices flowing! But BrBa is a WINNING vehicle to tell GREAT stories.
Dead Gus
Okay now, is the evil Gus really dead, or just seriously deformed and now truly out for revenge? Just wondering.
The Walking Dead are Stomping on BrBa's Threads Yo!
I haven't been able to see or join in on any of BrBa's threads since about 9:45pm., so I'm forced to start an anti-Walking Dead Thread b!tches! I'm thinkin' maybe AMC can't handle too much all at once. Most of us know they've had their troubles in the past. I sure hope they can work out the kinks again yo! ;-)
Who was watching Walt?
Who was watching Walt as he left the hospital after talking to Jesse? There was a moment while Walt was talking with Jesse where the camera seemed to see the conversation from another angle, perhaps from someone else's perspective... someone watching the conversation. And then when Walt drove out of the hospital parking structure, he looked over at someone in another car with a Dos Pollos Hermanos symbol hanging from the mirror, and seemed to share a look with whoever was in the car. So who was in the car??
I suspect it was Mike in the car, but I could be completely off. What do you guys think? Who was watching Walt? Who was in the car?
Gus' cook?
Who was cooking for gus for the twenty years from when max was killed and when he found walt and jesse? Was it gale all along because if you remember gale was awarded that scholarship from gus way back, or was gus just a distributor for the cartel? I would like to know exactly what happened after max was killed.
Basking In The BB After Glow
First of all, I see that the open thread has dropped way down out of sight. And other threads are being used for that. So everyone who wants, feel free to co-opt this one for general comment or socializing if it makes it a little easier to find somewhere for that close to the top.
Anyway, I've been posting here since about the beginning and have enjoyed it. Really enjoyed getting to "talk" to many here, especially the "regulars". And I think this brief period just after the final episode is about my favorite time. It's when the forum slows down enough that it's not all bunched up and frantic and you feel like what you say may actually be read before it spins off into space. And, the regular forumites are likely to still be out and about.
It's kinda like the leaves are falling in the BB world, the moon's up and the stars are coming out. And it's getting colder. But there's still a nice warm feeling of enjoyment and satisfaction with what we just witnessed, being the end to the best writing and acting to be seen in decades of TV history.
So, this is my last post.
I'll of course tune in next season, but my personal hunch is that it won't and can't match up artistically to what came before. Frankly, I think there's no where meaningful left to go that's either not way too obvious, or that would only be a pale shadow of what was. I expect that'll show in the ratings. They just should have ended it here, in other words.
But, since it's to continue, I'd offer a little word of advice. To keep it interesting I'd take the story into completely different territory. Don't just re-start it with JnW cooking meth for the cartel or someone. Have them strike out in a whole new direction with other and different story lines.
Anyway, it's been a pleasure. Take care...
The Ricin Cigarette...
y thoughts on how the ricin cig was removed from jessie's pack anybody? that little detail's bugging the hell out of me. The idea that Huell, Hewell? is a master pickpocket seems like a bit of a stretch to me. Anybody?
Lilly of the vally
when did walt give the berries to the kid?
Fabulous Soundtrack!
Hey Guys,
What do u think about the soundtrack of breaking bad? do u like or dislike it?
In my opinion it is one of the best soundtracks ever...full emotion, atmospheric and perfect setting into the serie!
To give a Tribute to this, i made a Remix of Tamacun, in my mind the best song!

Do u like it? Let me know...
So, let's discuss about the soundtrack and remixes, what are ur favorites?
When Will We Get Glimpses Of Season 5 ?
I am wondering when and if we will get at least a hint of season 5 from BB.

Season Five
So just re watching season 4 finale. Thinking maybe Hank may be getting closer and closer to Walt. He already suspects Fring, now he dies with a Known member of the cartel, and at the same time the Lab goes boom. His laptop was left sitting on his desk in Hermanos, with the Video feeds open. What are the chances that at least part of the feed is saved to the hard drive?

What Do Folks In Albuquerque Think of BB?
This was asked on the main Season 4 Open Thread, and it's a good enough question that I thought it deserves a prominent place, so here goes -

Breaking Bad rap
So I made this song shortly after watching the season 4 finale. I think it came out rather well and I'd like to share it with the Breaking Bad community. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwGTTqzKE3o
ricin cigarette & more...
so it appears that walt poisioned brock with lily of the valley from the plant on his patio. but gus knew of or planned to kill brock because in the previous episode he took jessie to visit hector in the nursing home after they left mexico. he showed hector don eladio's chain, saying "all dead--as is your grandson." was gus telling us that brock is hector's grandson ? which leads to many more questions...such as...is andrea his daughter or did she have brock with a son of hector's ? is andrea & jessie's meeting a coincidence ? she was supposedly a meth addict herself & her little brother was murdered for selling. i just don't see walt poisioning the kid ! he's still a dad himself.
they did a flashback scene for jane and gale
will gus get one?
Little Green Words of Thanks
I want to offer a few words of thanks from me to all of you.
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL SEASON FOUR!!
A lot of truly great ups along side the occasional down made moderating here... being with all of you a true pleasure. A little crazy here and there along the way for the most part this is hands down the most intelligent, witty and all around fun fan community I've ever been fortunate enough to be around.
For all success and more than a few failures it has been an honor to serve such a great bunch of fans
An off season sure to be far too long for any of our tastes at least we know we have this place and each other to help manage the wait.
To all my fellow Breaking Bad fans...
Thanks for the memories.
I'll be back.
I don't wanna give too much away...but in Season 5 I come back to run protection for Jesse's unborn son (Andrea's the mom). In the future, the kid finds out Walt poisoned his half-brother and takes revenge on the entire White family.
Sure I could just come back and take out Walt myself...but what kind of plot would that be?
Walter White; Brilliant Cook, and now, a great Explosives Expert
It just hit me. Looking forward to hearing some more explosions in the next season.
The Walking Gus's Farewell Thread
As many of you are aware, Gus has been at my home with me since after the explosion Sunday night. He first appeared here on the forum frightened, confused, and in a LOT of pain. And of course, VERY angry. And inarticulate. : )
I've been seeing to his medical and nutritional needs, and the results, well each of you will just have to judge for yourselves.
Gus and I have spent many long hours this week discussing the various options available he might have going forward from here. As you might imagine, he does want to be independent, and would like to have another go at being successful. He has settled upon a plan for moving on, and after this weekend will be leaving my home to take those first steps on the road to a new...life. ( ? )
I can tell you that I have gotten to see a side to Gus that we only got a glimpse of in "Hermanos" and I have no regrets at all about the effort I put into his rescue, well worth it. Both of us Thank You all for your indulgence and/or tolerance this past week.
So, if you care to say Goodbye, or have questions for him, now is the time. His speech is mostly fine, although it slips considerably when he gets excited or angry, and he does have some memory loss.
I should warn you all of one thing. Gus has told me, in NO uncertain terms, that any S.O.B. who starts singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" is gonna regret that.
Will MIke Come for Walter in Season 5?
I haven't seen any talk about Mike. He was left at that Dr. after the Shoot out with the Cartel.
Dream Cast for Season 5
Jeff Goldblum as a Rival Chemist
Rutger Hauer as Madgrigal Electromotive CEO
Ellen Burstyn as Walter White’s Mother
Robert John Burke as an IRS Agent
Edward James Olmos as a Chilean Connection
Jackie Earle Haley as a DEA, FBI or CIA Agent
If you had to cast an actor as a new or previously hinted at character in this final season of Breaking Bad, who would you choose?
Anyone know of a "Tucker's hole" clip?
Does anyone know if there is a clip available online of the whole scene between Jesse and Tucker?
Favorite Quotes and Scenes?
From all seasons - 1 through 4!
Breaking Bad has shown the world that the best drama in television, is not on HBO, or Showtime.
I truly believe this series will be among the top 10 dramas, of all time. Up there with “The Sopranos”, “The Shield”, & “The Wire”. “Breaking Bad” is on a level so high, that AMC is making networks like Showtime & HBO turn up the heat. Mr. Cranston, is a brilliant, astonishing, & just quite possibly the #1 actor in television right now. I’m not talking “Emmy” I’m talking from a viewers point, Bryan Cranston is to Tv drama, what Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson & Robert DeNiro are for to cinema. In closing I’d like to say that if Vince Gillian was to end the series next season, I’d be happy as long as the series goes out with a “Bang!” I’d much rather that, than the series go on for 10 seasons & just run out of fresh material & ruin the entire series cause the last two seasons were mediocre. It’s happened to many, many shows on TV. “Breaking Bad”, is & will be my #1 ongoing television drama. I’ll be here next year, Mr. Cranston.
Non-Soundtrack Music from Breaking Bad
Does anyone know who was responsible for the ambient music in Breaking Bad. I'm not talking about the songs featured in the official soundtracks, the other types that are more mood setting songs, I'm certain they are always instrumental.
Please & Thanks if you know
What You're Saying
I know it's been mentioned before by myself and other talkers in the open thread but does anyone know when AMC will contact those who were akcnowledged in the weekly 'What Your Saying' blogs in the on Season for there prize? Thanks.
Speculations about Mike
Will Mike return in Season 5, or is he tostado? Some have suggested he'd return to seek vengeance on Walt, but the problem there is how would he earn (unless he'd got enough saved up)? Also, he's probably grateful to Jesse for trying to save his life and protesting when Gus' doctor delayed treatment in favor of his boss. This could also lead to a potential grudge against Gus, even if Gus is dead.
It would be another point in Walt's favor. While Walt and he may have disagreed, Walt never directly confronted Mike in any way that could have harmed Mike. I'd like to see him return and team up with Walt, if for no other reason than because he needs the cash . . .
Save Jesse Pinkman
This is a plea to Vince and company. Please let Jesse go. I want to see him walk away from all this with Andrea and Brock and have a chance for a normal life.
If any other fans agree, please share your thoughts.
You are welcome to share even if you don't agree.
Money question
This may have been covered already but I'm asking anyway. When Skyler figured out Walt's income from cooking she said he made 7 million a year. The carwash cost 800K I believe. How much money did she give Ted anyway? I didn't understand why Walter came home and couldn't find a measly $500 for the family to disappear. What did I miss?
I want to see Walt smoke the blue.
I can't even imagine how they would show this, but there are so many possibilities. I'd love it if he smoked it at his own home while waiting for the DEA to come get him.
Walter would go effin' mental on that stuff.
Are we missing something?
At the end of season 4 we see essentially the first time Walt and Jesse finally have breathing room. They're as 'clean' as they've ever been as it stands, and for the moment they're free of the obstacles that have plagued them from day 1
Wheres the HAT?!?!?!
When Walt says I WIN, he should of had his Heizenberg (spelling?) hat on. He hasn't had it on in awhile. It adds to his bad man character
I want to be the walk on winner!
Because I'm the cutest and the brightest, can sing and play pool. Pick me! Please Pick me. If you pick someone else I'll understand, but I'm the best. Also I have a crush on Becky!
Why end it early??
Who should I contact to protest the early termination of Breaking Bad? I for one would like to vote for at least 2 more seasons before it ends. You have the most talented creator (Vince Gilligan), cast, and storyline imaginable, and you want to end it early?? This is the best show on TV right now! Where is the logic in this decision? Clearly there are many different directions this show could still go before you should be thinking about pulling the plug. I think Bryan Cranston said it best when he said he'd rather have this show end a season too soon, rather than a season too late. It is obvious that this show is being terminated AT LEAST one season too soon.
Please review your decision-making on this AMC and Sony.
season finale: Lily of the Valley
When did Walter 'temporarily poison' Jessie's girlfriend's son? The night Walter visited Jessie's home and they were playing video games?
Gray Matter and Season 5
Been thinking it would be interesting if Walt were to con or blackmail Elliott Schwartz into either setting him up with all the equipment he needs for his own Superlab or they just flat-out use a lab at Gray Matter to cook the blue.
Live in Fairfax, VA. can I borrow Season 1-3 DVDs?
Anyone out there from Fairfax or Northern VA and have season 1-3 DVDs I can borrow? Email me at gryncht@hotmail.com. I have some cool rock CDs I can burn if ur interested - Dead, Who, Jeff Beck, Yes, et al.

Gus's Car Switched?
What kind of car was he driving? Walt put a bomb under a car, but at the begining of the last episode, he removes a bomb from an SUV. Did the show producers screw up or am I seeing things?
How Hank will figure it out...
As I watched Hank watching the news broadcast about the bombing, I couldn’t help but think that he was in deep concentration. He was probably going back in his mind, thinking of every detail in the days that led up to his discovery of the laundry facility. In doing so, he is going to remember that Walt failed to turn into the laundry parking lot and, seemingly on purpose, turned his car into oncoming traffic thereafter. Hank, now armed with the truth about the existence of a super lab, will suspect that Walt is involved.
Hank now has all the pieces, he just needs to make the connections. He will go back to the beginning of his investigation and remember the stolen gas mask from Walt’s very own high school lab. Then he will remember Walt’s connection with Jesse, and the RV. All this paired with the fact that Walt is a chemist, will be more than enough for Hank to have some questions to be answered.
Everything will fall into place soon. Hank has become so much more cerebral in this past season, and it won’t take long for him to figure it out. The question will be, can Walt lie his way out of this, even when Gus failed to? As we’ve seen in the past, once Hank has a gut feeling, he is relentless in finding the truth.

Where's Mike?
Where the heck is Mike? and would he care that his boss has just been terminated?
Face off
Seeing the finale of this season has tied up loose ends that in previous finales have made us want so much more. In any case I loved this one as well as the rest. It will make for an interesting season five on the basis of the clean break that it gave us. The cliffhangers were subtle and with clean and tidy way that vitually all the mexican cartel and the american side of the "industry" have been eliminated new bosses with rise and with supply all but wiped out the addicted will be a factor in the next season. Having this fresh start will invole more viewers because they wont have to up to speed with the series to enjoy what we all have gotten out of this series.
C-mon man..
Iv been reading a lot of interviews with VG and one question that never gets asked is "How did Walt get the poison into Brock?". I could go with two planes colliding above Walts house. I could deal with that cousins ax penetrating parking lot pavement after getting his head blown off. I could even stretch far enough to believe Gus could walk 5ft, adjust his tie then drop dead all while half his head had been blown off (in fact, I really found that part very plausible). But please, for the love of all that I admire about Breaking Bad.....
..HOW THE PHUK DID WALT POISON BROCK ?!!
I mean, I don't think I'm asking too much over here! And don't give me that "We left that part out so the audience could fill it in with their own interpretation." You should have done that by skipping the flower shot (so unnecessary).
Please help me believe. I wanna believe so bad. This is really effecting me man

My thoughts on the series and S5
I didn’t post much this season, and had some issues signing in, so now I’m using my fb id to sign in. I used to post as Gracie. I have just a few thoughts to sum up the season ender and next season.
A lot of people are stating that with last nights events, there is little point of a S5, that the show has or will jumped the shark. While apparently the show was in the can before there was a deal for S5 and it was good to end with some closure, I think there is potential for ever escalation of violence and possibly the deaths of major characters.
Back during WWI, there was a popular song “How You Gonna Keep’em Down on the Farm After They’ve Seen Gay Paree?” Apparently people were worried simple farm boys would not be willing to go back behind a plow in Podunk USA after tasting the many sensual delights that was on every corner in the city of light. But there were darker urges let loose as well. In every war a very small percent of young men discover they have a talent for the nefarious. Walt has been through a war of his own of sorts. Remember in S1 when those brushes with death brought with them such a feeling of being alive for the first time? Remember that scene in the parking lot at the high school? Yeah, so who out there thinks Walt’s gonna settle down into the 9 to 5 at the carwash? A week, a month before he gets itchy for a new thrill? We never did know the results of the cancer test. A man with no fear of death is a dangerous man indeed.
Does anyone really think the DEA, FBI, Homeland Security et al are going to just sweep under the rug a bomb going off in a nursing home of all places? Explosive experts are going to crawl all over ABQ to get to the bottom of this. The revelation of such a respected community leader as Gus Fring being blown to smithereens by a cartel dude is going to smart. For those of you who are whining about never really finding out who Gus really is, we may just find out who he is.
And then poor old Ted. Someone in the IRS may wonder about the good timing of receiving such a large inheritance at such a time. Oh, and he is dead. Shuffled off his mortal coil. Rung down the final curtain. Joined the Choir invisible. He is an ex-scumbag. Same thing goes for Gus by the way. (I can’t believe after last years “Gale is alive” farce people are rerunning such nonsense.
Then there’s Hank. He will not let this die down. He will rub it in everyone’s face. Will he get access to the surveillance tapes of the laundry? Yeah, someone was going there a lot in a fugly Aztek. How many Azteks are there in ABQ? One thing for sure, Hank has nothing but time and he has the tenacity of a pitbull. Does he know about Walt but is keeping it mum? Sometimes I’m not so sure he still thinks of Walt as a meek Walter Mitty.
Let’s not forget about Walt’s ego, the source of all of this misery. How long before he gets drunk again and lets out a few choice tidbits, or worse Heisenberg?
Long post I know, but BB fans are the most thoughtful, insightful fans out there. The most sophisticated, intelligent show on TV ever draws us in and hopefully
Skyler's Weight Gain
OK this is NOT a superficial observation about how women should only look a certian way on TV etc - I am seriously confused about why her weight gain is not being explained ONLY because it is SO distracting! It is so distracting because even when pregnant she was a toothpick ! Right after the baby was born, a toothpick, and then season 4 episode one she looks totally different. I am a woman and I truly do not care if she is 100 pounds or 300 pounds, I just cant deal with how confusing and distracting this is! It's like if one of the characters came back with blue hair or something....by the way I am late, I am only on the beginning of season 4 now, but I have to ask, does anyone know the answer? I thiought maybe they would reveal how stress has led her to use food as comfort or SOMETHING, ANYTHING, this is ridiculous!!!! Comments please? Wish I could ask the director! Very confusing.
finally,
gus and two of his henchmen are dead! i just want a t shirt with gus doing the "terminater" while straightening his coller. and how are only his face and shoulder burned?!?
Outstanding VG interview. Walkthrough each episode of season 4

Los Pollos Hermanos
I'm just now getting involved with these posts but I thought I'd ask this question I've been thinking about for awhile. The restaurant is call The chicken brothers. Does anyone else out there think a brother will step up is Gus's place now that his "face" is "off"??? Has this been brought up before???
Unanswered Questions ...
How did Walt manage to get the berries into the kids system in such a short amount of time ? , seems almost impossible ... And if he did use the berries , what happened to the vile of ricin missing from Jesses smoke pack ? , How was it Gus was able to walk perfectly fine after that blast , when we just saw it blow the door right off the hinges.. ?? the death scene's always look so fake !!
Final scene in the parking garage
It appeared that someone is watching Walt and Jesse for a vehicle with the Los Pollos on the rear view mirrow. My guess is MIKE.
Lily-of-the-Valley
my favorite flower, after the season finale, i checked out my plants and yes! there are red berries-don't think i'll try one however
Gus and connections in chile?
I seem to remember the cartel talking about Gus and his history in Chile. Are we to see some powers that be come out of chile and into the next season along with mike?
Red Herrings
I think we can forget Gus as "General" and as "son of war criminal" and so forth.
That MUST have been a tease put in by the writers for us to have one thing more to chew on. They may have read our speculating and enjoyed it. It seems likely.
I don't think there was any place to go with his lineage as a realistic meaningful story anyway.
Can we officially put that aspect to rest, along with Gustavo Fringenstein or "Der Fringler"?
Of course he now can carry on with a profitable future as a Halloween mask. Could he not...
Were there any other red herrings?
caroline Rau
When did walt give the poison berries to the boy???
Who was Gus's guy following to the DEA meeting- Hank or Hector?
I must have missed this kernel of detail-- he must have been staking out Hank's house and followed Hank to the DEA offices where the meeting w/ Hector was to take place?
Lily of the Desert?
No way would lily of the valley grow in a container in the desert! It's a woodland plant that flowers in the spring in cool Northern climates. A little more research, please! (The devil's in the details.)
A Man Protects His Family
In the end, this seems to be the overriding theme and motivation of all the major characters in BB. Going back to Gus's statement back last year which convinced Walt to cook for him, all of the characters are driven by that theme- Hector- to avenge his nephew's death- Gus to avenge his friend's death- Walt to protect his family (including Jesse) from Gus. Even Hector says that to his 2 nephews in one of the flashback scenes.
So maybe, from here on in, the way to predict what a character will do is to simply ask- they will do whatever is necessary to protect or at least avenge the death of family.
I'll be interested to see how all that plays out next year.
Breaking Bad finale question
If Walt poisoned the little boy with the Lilly of the Valley
berries, did anyone see how he got the berries into the boys system??? Please help!!!
Season4 Finale
Who says Gus is even dead? :-)
Don't make the Same mistake twice
Advice Gus gives to Walt while they were having dinner at Gus's house.
I guess Gus didn't follow his own advice, allowing himself to be lured into a meeting where Hector first kills his friend, and 20 years later;, his own death.
I'm going to miss Gus. Knowing now that he didn't try to kill Brock, maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all.
thanks for no cliff hanger but great writing/acting
Just Fantastic! It was such a satisfying ending, but still so great that a cliff-hanger was not needed to bring us back next season. I have never witnessed better writing/
acting.
season finale breaing bad
wow what writing!! this show has made me a huge fan! remember folks gus's body gaurd when they were in mexico? he was shot and injured and left in mexico, thats one loose end walt and jesse will have to deal with next season.
IS Gus really dead?
Gus is very resourceful. I wonder if he is really dead?
Lies Walt has Told Jesse
I've said before that I think Jesse will find out next year that Walt killed his old girl friend Jane. That will cause him to turn on Walt. But now there are 2 more reasons for Jesse to turn on Walt- the poisoning of Brock- which he can find out by seeing the lily of the field plant in Walt's yard, and yes- even the killing of Gus. In the last scene, when Jess discovers that Gus didn't poison Brock, he seems sad that Gus was killed- asking- "We still needed to kill him, right?" Jesse really did care for Gus- What they went through with the cartel and Mike made a real impression on him. And I think Gus did have some real respect for Jesse.
My guess is that next season- at some point Jesse will discover these lies- and there will be a "face-off " between him and Walt.
To End It Or Not To End It
Last year I used to suggest this should go on 6 or even 7 seasons. It was that enjoyable to watch. But now, after this evening and the finale to one of the best TV productions of them all, I've changed my mind. Nothing in the future will provide a better stopping place and a better memory for the fans than what we just had.
So if AMC wants to end it and the actors are having second thoughts how much longer they want to solder on with it, my feelings won't be hurt by letting this show be the final entry.
BUT, if we want to go on - next season I see JnW suddenly becoming VERY popular and a useful commodity with and to the cartel.
I see them in a partnership with the cartel. Those guys are certainly going to be appreciative to JnW for getting rid of Gus and his organization.
What say you??
Walt - "Heisenberg" next season
In the next season ...Walt will now become the man to fear... HE will be the new Gus...watch
Yellow Note-Pad at DEA, "Walter White" on top page!
When Hank is seated at table opposite Hector and they are ready to "talk" - the camera shows the nurse with Hector's yellow note. Camera shows a quick flash of top page before she flips it fresh blank page. It was from couple seasons ago... I think the "twins" meeting with Hector.. That top page says "Walter White" Either that note pad stayed at DEA, or Hector's nurse took it with her. I am betting it is pivotal clue for last season. DEA is going to be investigating that bombing. ANd that notepad with Walter's name is going to start things unraveling for Walter...just when he thinks he can relax... (my guess, based on that note pad eveidence).. Your thoughts?
The music to gus' death
it was perfect his walking in to the home was amazing then to elevator music as he fell to his death
breaking stupid
the more I watched this show the more amazed at how stupid these two bozos became. with their stupid shaved heads they became cartoons. make your money and run. and if you have to fly back in to albercore every six months to cook then do it and collect your money and live in jamaica..sooner or later you can get away and it beats a straight job. these two guys were just two stupid to watch in the end. its like they decided to be dumb and dumber. couldnt even watch the end.
review of Season 4 finale
spoilers, with analysis of very ending of ending http://paullevinson.blogspot.com/2011/10/breaking-bad-season-4-finale-deceptive.html
Mike
Really curious about what happened to Mike
IS THIS THE END OF BREAKING BAD?
IS THIS THE END OF BREAKING BAD???
I can't see it going anywhere else. Especially with Jesse and Walt shaking hands and Walt saying to Skyler, "I won." What a beautiful ending to a fabulous story! But I really can't see it taking us any further.

Next Season
question is, how are they going to continue this series next year. the final episode provided a complete conclusion
Season 5
Where do they go from here?
Crow Eating room - All crow eaters welcome
So, just as I said - WALT DID IT - Liquid Vic and others (you know who you are) please feel free to visit and bow down to your prediction masters!
Walter Jesse & Jane
Does Jesse Pinkman know Walter White let Jane Margolis die a few seasons back?
Giancarlo Esposito Must Be Seen
Whatever happens tonight --
Giancarlo Esposito must be seen somewhere, often, and must be paid well doing it. He is phenomenal. I'd say the current gravity of the show is due at least to his character as much as any of the tops, maybe even moreso this season. In Gus, he has created a totally uncommon and compelling "bad guy". Every scene with him is electric. If they have to do away with him tonight, I just hope his career soars. He deserves it.
breaking bad - brock's poisioning
i think andrea (his mom) did it.....
Walt firing five times
I swear earlier in the season there was an extended peek at future episodes with a very short clip of Walt firing his gun five (?) times at something with a determined look on his face. Didn't think much of it then...but now?
I've searched for this thing but cannot locate it. Does anyone remember this? Was he wearing a green shirt? (which we know he'll be wearing tonite). Someone buys it big-time tonight...but who?
Why are so many people over thinking this show?
Seriously. The show is brilliant. The writing has been extremely good so far. But has been fairly straight forward and not relied upon goofy sudden "surprises" and out of nowhere plot twists.
Or should I just put forth the theory that a former teacher of Walt Jr's is actually trying to take over the meth market. She is the one that employed the two junkies back at the show's start that Walt runs into in the parking lot when they shopping for cook supplies. And is the one that poisoned Brock.....Oh right because the show hasn't worked like that so far.
Russian Mafia
Just a thought, but It'd be sick if the Russian Mafia got involved in Season 5. After all they're in cahoots with some of the cartels in real life. Throwing a few incredibly ruthless Russians in the mix would be perfect for this show.
Russian Mafia
Could you see them getting involved in Season 5? After all in real life they're in cahoots with some of the Cartels. Just a thought, but throwing some incredibly ruthless Russians into the mix would make this show.
who poisoned Broc? HERE IS MY GUESS
GUS or his crew here is how i feel they know about the Ricin...
Think of this A few Episodes ago Gus's PI came in to Jesse's house with his OWN bag of money and told Jesse that this guy on your floor had taken it from him... HOW DID THEY KNOW HE TOOK THE MONEY unless the house has a bug or video? that is how they know about the ricin poison in the cir pack! Anybody agree?
Bryan Cranston on The Today Show Oct. 6th
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/41521818/#44799888
Bryan Cranston describes final scene (not a spoiler) . . .
Bryan Cranston was on David Letterman's show last night. He said that the final shot of the final scene would consist of a location very familiar to anyone who's watched Breaking Bad. The camera would close in on a single object and the episode would end.
So, what is the object? My guess, and it's just that, a guess, is the potted plant in the backyard that's suggested to be the source of the poison used on Brock. I'm sure there are other ideas as well, so let's hear 'em . . .
How Walt gets dead
Cornered between Cartel and DEA and told cancer is back he take a deadly amount of his own blue magic and daydreams he's talks to all the dead people that died in the show. Some excuses some regrets . Ends when EMT are loading his body and a tiny blue bag false from his dead hand and EMT looks around and pockets the bag .
How Obsessed I am with this Show
I can't believe how I can't get this show out of my mind. I bring it up in with the students in my classes , I'm a teacher but not of chemistry!), I read every thing on line, and I am just counting down the days till the season's finale.
Why is this show so great? Well as my wife likes to say there's not a" fart in the cart." Every actor is perfectly cast,; the writing is superb, the cinematography breathtaking. They give you just enough information so that you can imagine numerous paths the plot can take, without being obvious; and then they manage to come up with a twist that no one predicted and yet is entirely consistent with the characters and therefore believable. With the exception of Walt Jr., no one is all good; and with a few exceptions (Hector and his clan) no one is all bad.
Just one great show; and an example of how TV shows are now superior to what's coming out of Hollywood.

DEA Moles: Drug Dog at the Laundromat
Further evidence of DEA moles/dirty cops is in "End Times" is demonstrated by Gomey and his sidekick with the "drug dog." This whole "knock-and-talk" warrant-less "search" struck me as very suspicious, especially considering this dog made no detections in what they believe may be the "biggest meth super lab in the Southwest." It is very clear that the handler is leading the dog while scoping out the laundromat. You can see him not only making a fist and moving across the equipment, but he actually bangs on things, in which the dog jumps up to check them out.
Any one with even rudimentary knowledge of law enforcement procedures know that handlers are NEVER supposed to lead drug dogs in any way, especially not like this. The dog is supposed to do all of the searching!!! Just to be safe, I confirmed this with a colleague who has worked with the DEA for decades.
Gretchen and Elliot Schwartz loose ends?
I'm sure this is an old topic but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. It seems to me the reason Walter got out of the very profitable business he started with Elliot and Gretchen Schwartz and became a high school teacher was never really explained, was it? I've always wondered if this was ever going to be tied up.
chemical elements discussed in the show
Hi All!
I have an artist friend in LA working on a project that will highlight the elements discussed in Breaking Bad. My boyfriend is a HUGE fan and I’ve only recently begun to watch, this will be a Christmas present for him. It will be a periodic table of elements in a very dark fashion, it will show the elements discussed in the show and they will be colored in the same green used in the opening credits. I have a few friends that are in med school so they are helping with the component breakdown. I’ve done a bit of research on my own but could use some help!!
So far:
•The elements in crystal meth are just carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen (C, H & N). I'm thinking of researching all the ingredients in meth and exploring that further.
•Walt mixes up a batch of hydrofluoric acid to dissolve a body in. I’ll be using H & F to show that.
•When Jesse goes to Mexico he flips out and demands the Mexican chemist create a batch of phenyl acetic acid. I believe its C, H & O.
Please let me know what other elements were discussed that aided in the character development. I think this could be a really outstanding piece and I could use the input of great fans!!
Best Actor Emmy Award Next Year
Jesse's performance in End Times was so amazing! Walt is also at the top of his evil game! These two gotta be nominated for Best Actor next year!
Gus's Background
I just submitted this (somewhere in cyberland) and I don't see it anywhere, so please forgive me if this is a duplicate.
Does anyone out there know much about Chilean culture and language, specifically names? The name "Fring" has always struck me as odd, definitely not of Latin derivation. Is Fring a name that one would realistically see in Chile?
I suspect that Gus's past has to be an even greater part of this than has already been revealed. After all, Don Eladio spared Gus's life because of who he had been in Chile. Other posters have said he might have been a generalissimo, while others have said that he himself would not have been old enough to have had such power. What if in fact "Fring" is the truncated version of what was originally a longer German name, like Fringhoffer, Fringlein, Fringhaus? Perhaps it's not entirely coincidence that Hank's trail on the air purifier goes back Germany. It's now known than many Nazi war criminals fled to South America after WWII to escape punishment. A pedigree that is half-Nazi could easily explain that cold, intensely-detached concentration Gus has, and also why there could be an element of fear or respect from someone like Don Eladio. Also, could the fact that the actor cast in the part is not only excellent but bi-racial lead us in this direction?
I've always wondered why it would matter where the air purifier came from, why mention the country of origin at all. Now, I'm starting to wonder what forces Gus has behind him. Just as there turned out to be dangerous forces (the Cartel) behind Tuco and the twins, perhaps there are even bigger, ugglier forces at work than even Gus, that have financed Gus and that Gus has to answer to?
Maybe that would be a new force of evil and conflict for Gus, Walt, and Jesse to fight in Season 5 that keeps them all alive and fills up an entire season!
I think i figured it out
the premiere poster of jesse and walt pouring. Sulfuric acid in the barrell its them getting rid of gus

Gustavo's Eyes & Ears in the DEA
I know that as early as last season, many BrBaddicts believed that Gus has a mole in the DEA. It seems that most posters to these forums believe that either Gomie or Merkert is the chicken man's eyes and ears in the agency. While I could see either of them fitting the bill, the last couple of episodes I have started to wonder about another possible candidate -- the Caucasian bodyguard who is filling in for Mike.
To the best of my recollection the few times we have seen this yet unnamed henchman, he has either been on the outer edge of the shot or appears blurry, out of focus, or in the background. Specifically, in the scene where Tyrus tasers and then abducts Walt at Jesse's house, he is in the background. Likewise in the desert scene where Gus threatens Walt's family, this new bodyguard is seen, unclearly, in the background. When Gus arrives at the hospital to get Jesse back to work, we don't see him get out of the car or go into the hospital with Gus & Tyrus, yet he is walking with them as they return to the Volvo.
Is it possible that this new bodyguard and the DEA agent who is sitting on the balcony at Hank & Marie's & gives Skyler a cigarette are actually the same person? Has anyone else noticed their resemblance? Do you guys think it is possible that this DEA agent and Fring's new "muscle" are one and the same?
As I said, I could very well be mistaken about this (I often am when it comes to this show) but I have been wondering why do we not know this guy's name? Why have his on-screen appearances been so brief and out of focus? Why EVEN bring in a "substitute" for Mike?
Wouldn't it be totally insane if this IS the same guy and Gus ALREADY HAS one of his guys "protecting" Walt's family (the DEA agent on the balcony)? Is it possible that the whole reason for having Skyler go outside and bum a cigarette from him is to show us that it is, indeed, the same guy? What if Walt has unwittingly put his family directly in Gus's cross-hairs at Hank & Marie's while he tries unsuccessfully to take out Gus. Is it possible that the source of Brock's poisoning isn't the only slight of hand at play in these "end times"?
S4 Exit Strategy
It's coming. You know this. What are you going to do with all that time ? And what will you be watching ?
Does The Lab Get Found?
Our boys need a "work station". So the series outcome is connected to what happens to Gus' lab. In other words, no place to cook from, then no next season.
The possibles -
One, the lab is discovered by Hank and everyone's busted and that's the end. Well, we know that's not the solution.
Two, JnW get rid of Gus and take over the laundry and keep right on keeping on. But, Hank would then have to drop his interest in lab. Not likely.
Three, Gus is done, and JnW remove all the equipment to a new lab, then destroy the old one, with Gus in it. Burn the whole building down, in other words, and destroy the evidence. I could see them doing this anyway, in their war with Gus. He wants to kill Walt? OK. Then shut him down. That'd fix him up plenty and probably get Hank off the case too.
Four, Gus is gone, and Hank throws in with JnW and they get to keep the lab.
Fifth and last, Jesse and Walt buy another RV.
I can't decide which it will be, but isn't one of those going to be our answer??
I told you so!
This is a place for all of us that were right with our predictions to come and say "I told ya so, but nooooooo, you wouldn't listen" to all the people that disagreed with us.

Enough arguing over which on is responsible for poisoning Brock.
While the arguing will continue the price of standing firm on your choice, continuing to argue and doing your best to convince others to back your pick suddenly has a price of admission.
Put your money where your mouth is so to speak.
Are you, in the face of a crow feast, brave enough to go on record.
No explanations how it was done needed. No need to tell who you believe aided in the crime.
Comment here which person you believe behind the poisoning of Brock and let the chips fall as they may
So, step right up, name your poison(er) and be ready eat your crow when and if it comes to that.
Solid explenation of who really poisoned Brock (with pictures & gifs)

Series ending prediction..
Since the series is all about male-bonding relationships Series ends with: 1. Walter dies 2. Gus dies 3. Mike and Jesse are a team, or to be exact, THE Team.
Last Episode Predictions
1. I still think there's a mole in the DEA, and the mole is going to lead to Gus killing one of the people at Hank's house.
2. I agree with another post- Skyler's going to die.
3. Loose ends- the biggest to me is that Walt killed Jane- Jesse's last girl friend. Somehow this is going to come up and be the final test of Jesse's loyalty to Walt. Mike who cleaned up the scene of Jane's death woill probably be the way Gus knows of Walt's connection to Jane's death.
Just not sure if this will come up on Sunday, or will surface in the next season.
4. Question- Why did Gus suspect something in the garage and not go into his car? I'm puzzled but my guess is that he became suspicious of why Jesse would insist on his coming to the hospital, and that after talking with Jesse- realizes that Jesse suspects him of poisoning Brock. Thus he realizes he's been set up.
Can't wait till next Episode. This show just gets better and better.

Your Post
Take two Blues and call me in the moring
Will "a" Walter White - take/test/use the blue? Walt Senior? Junior?
Hank finding out about Walt
Anyone else think in the finale Hank will learn Walts involved in all this?
Ice Man
Why is Walt on the top of a building with a cell phone and I am assuming pipe bombs are in the car? I know why.
A 30.06 with a scope at that range would be easy enough.
The writers need to go find the prison cell interview (TV documentary) of the real life New Jersey hit-man, the Ice Man. Then go visit Newburgh, NY.
Just think of how many combat in-country vets returning from war know full well how to kill anybody and most all just turn it all off when becoming civilians again. Oh, PTSD for sure for most returning vets. Mentally it is always there. Some vets do better than others trying to forget it. Some never do. But corner a guy in a life and death situation and it instantly comes back like it was yesterday. Just about anything can be made into a weapon and/or a couple of good punches to certain areas of the enemie's body.
Watch and Rewatch
SPOILER ALERT!!!
I watched and rewatched every scene from the last episode and I am nearly positive Hyule took the cigarettes from Jesse's pockets because he definitely stuffed something in his own pocket when Saul came out. Walt had to have poisoned Brock.
Are we going to hate Walt by the end of the season? Or do we hate him now?
Chekhov's Gun Points to Murderer
Chekhov's gun is a literary technique whereby an apparently irrelevant element is introduced early in the story whose significance becomes clear later in the narrative. Well that’s what appears to be going on in Ep412 when Walt is spinning his gun. Walt spins the gun 3 times with the first two times having the gun point back at him. The third time the gun ends up pointing past Walt and into the background. Then the camera carefully shifts it’s angle to uncover that the gun is pointed at a lone potted plant. Then the camera does a close up on Walt’s face as his face shifts from defeat to where one can tell a glimmer of an idea is forming. So what appears to be an “irrelevant element” i.e. gun pointing at a plant is the birth of a desperate plan, the plant has reminded Walt of the risen ! In short Walt works out a plan to get Jesse to come to him and to get Jesse off of Gus’s side and back on his, Walt poisons Brock. And Walt know’s that will bring Jesse to him and that Jesse will be ready to do anything to revenge Brocks pending death. After all last time Jesse was ready to die for and/or kill for a child he barely knew.
Other Reasons I believe this to be true:
Starting with Season 2 Vince ends each season with Walt being responsible for a death of someone that doesn’t deserve to die and each season it’s someone that deserves it less ; Season2 was Jane, Season 3 was Gale and now … it’s Brock. Each death due to Walter.
It would just be like Vince’s twisted sense of humor to use a gun to be a “Checkhov’s gun” device !
If you listen to Ep412 behind the scene video you will hear Gus explain that he knew something was wrong in the parking lot because he hadn’t poisoned Brock. So walking back to car he deduced the poisoning was to draw him out and to the hospital ! Well if he didn’t poison Brock … who did ?
How ironic what started Walt’s entire issue with Gus was the killing of a child in Season 3 …. Now it’s come full circle and it’s going to be a killing of another child that saves him.
ENOUGH !!!
Just give me a name. No theories or accusations. just the name of whom ever poisoned Brock.
My theory--Skyler dies in Season 4 finale
Didn't anyone get chills when Skyler walked out on the balcony and asked the agent sitting next to a table covered in assault rifles for a cigarette. I instantly thought she was going to get her head blown off.
For the first time, we are shown the environs of Hank's house and see hilltop homes set above him with clear views of his house. Then we see Walt trying to take Gus out long distance, perched on a higher building with a telescopically clear view of the target.
I think Skyler's death was also foreshadowed by 1. her inability to comfort crying Holly; 2. Marie taking over Holly's care and Walt Jr. transferring his affections to Marie when he thinks his mother didn't try hard enough to persuade Walt to come to Hank's.
We were teased with the info at the start of this season that a major character would die. Did you really think that character was Victor? BB is brilliant at creating diversions and this may be one of them. (It might also explain why Anna Gunn got so much screen time this season.)
I think killing Skyler would start off a perfect chain reaction for the concluding season. Her death would ignite multiple reactions from everybody and set up a never ending series of confrontations on all fronts.
Gus is too important as an antagonist to lose now. Walt and Jesse need both Hank and Gus to fight against during the last season.
If I'm right, I demand a prize.

Amazing!
I haven't had the pleasure of catching this series from the beginning, but have watched every episode of this season. All i can say is, this show is amazing! I look forward to seeing the 1st 3 seasons while i wait for season 5.
HELP!!!
i need a link to watch online... any help?
Skyler
she looks more and more like a man
WTF?
Who would like to see Walt go on his own or team up with another heavy-hitter?
Jesse cooked for the Cartel and his purity was at 96.2% which we know is a much lower grade than Walt's at 99+%. So maybe Walt can team up with a newly introduced heavy-hitter for distribution or maybe word can get on on the streets about the lesser quality of the "Blue" now and Gus may realize he still needs Walt. I don't know. Just throwing thoughts out there. What do you think?

What Crazy-@ss Conspiracy Theory will Emerge from End Times?
The big three so far are:
(1) Jessie didn't shoot Gale (theory shot to Hell).
(2) Mike was going to shoot Jessie in the back in Salud (theory shot to Hell).
(3) Mike's voice was dubbed in for Walt's for some crazy reason in Crawl Space (theory shot to Hell).
So, what's next b*tches? What crazy theories will emerge in these final two episodes of the season? That Walt is undercover DEA? That Jessie is CIA? That Hank secretly works for Gus? Place your bets! :-P
