List of all the crimes Walt has committed and people he killed so far

Anyone ever thought of doing a list of all the crimes Walt has committed and people he killed so far?

Theory about how season 4 ends

I think it might involve cameras. I believe Hank will spot the cameras in Pollos and believing that a security tape might exist that show Gale & Gus together, get a search warrant to search Pollos and obtain any security tapes. With a search crew, Hank and others bust Pollos and Hank finds the security room. He looks at various screens until one catches his eye--that of a man bending over a vat in a lab. Mike & Jesse aware of the raid on Pollos, try to call Walt to warn him. As is his habit, Walt answers the phone and turns around to the camera to talk to Gus. Hank practically has a heart attack. End of Season 4.

Episode 6 question

Mike and Jessie were in a diner twice - both times, Mike had something and corn on the cob . . . what was the 'something'??

Why Would Gus Still Want to Kill Walt?

There are starting to be big plot holes in this story. Why does Gus still want to kill Walt? He has no back-up chemist, Walt makes him a FORTUNE. Gus should have 24 hour protection around Walt, because if he goes, then Gus is finished. And HOW can such an operation only have one off-the-rails cook, anyway? And if the cartel wants Walt so bad, really - they can't find him? Really?

Tucker's Hole

TUCKERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! SHUT THE DOOR!!!!!!!!!!! Let's all talk in Tucker's Hole, yo!

Hope the Bad Germans is not a "24" style jump the Shark development

I mean really? Madrigal Electromotives is supposed to be a worldwide conglomerate but they may be involved in selling meth, killing people and dealing with the Mexican organized crime? It's Like Dupont owning a fast food franchise from where they sell drugs. Far fetched to say the least. Even if you think that corporations are evil instead of business entities that create jobs for thousands of honest people.

Did Walt lie to Gale about the temperature setting back in season 3?

Hi Everyone! Something's been bugging me for a while now. Back in season 3 did Walt lie to Gale about the temperature setting, I think it was 75 and it was supposed to be 85. That ruined a batch of meth and subsequently got Gail fired. Of course we all know that was Walt's way of getting Jesse in the lab as Walt's partner. This also set off a chain reaction of bad events including Gale's death, the death of those two dealers as well as Victor. What does everyone think?

Jessie The Philosopher, et al.

I wish I could read posts made by others rather than proliferate my own, but this website does not work for my computer for some reason. I shall make a few comments.

Jessie was remarkable in the circle meeting.

Never noticed theGus and NAZI connection.

Interesting! Hitler put the real Heisenberg to work in building him an Atom bomb. It's like Gus is Hitler, Walt is Heisenberg and the Cartel is Stalin! On top of that now we have a German conglomerate as the owners of Pollos Hermanos. Vince Gilligan seems to be playing games with this.

Maybe, since the Brits were the ones who arrested Heisenberg and then let him go free, Walt will survive after all.

Anna Gunn

I know there are bunch of Skyler-haters here and I'm sure I'll take some static for this, but I haven't had this big of a crush on an actress since Tatum O'Neal in the Bad News Bears!

R U FN kidding me? U flag me 4 my Freedom of Speech Post? 'F' amc!

8-30-11 I don't need amc! I like Sons of Anarchy on FX! Get up Biches! It's far more reality than this is! I've been hacked on this CH. So if you can't secure your own site than FU! Not worth it! I did nothing BUT post a positive Comment! If U R so uptight abought FREEDOM OF SPEECH & FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION...you will lose in the END. Plenty of other shows to watch. Goodbye! They don't do this at FB! WHY HERE? R Republicans running this site?

Breaking Bad**Are You saying You can't watch the show in full online? I'm seeing 'bits & pieces' in vids of show. NOT what 'amc' advertises on TV!

8-30-11 Is Breaking Bad & 'amc' only letting people watch 'bits & pieces of the shows' & NOT the entire show? I can go to HULU...if they have it & watch it in full! Many people out there w/ full episodes. I don't see this here. That was original purpose of signing up last year. I've helped amc out & Breaking Bad...when they did their 'Q&A' on each character. VERY Dissapointed if I can't see it here. I was caught up on MTV VMA which was only for my pals The Foo Fighters..who won for Best Rock Vid. Not 'EM Not Beastie Boys (SHOCKER) Not even ADELE in 2 Catagories! SHAME! MTV isn't the days w/ NIRVANA & good Bands. VMA was Horrible..& I won't be back again. I watch Beaking Bad every week..w/ the Encores! I just caught pieces of it w/ Hank.

Ep 8 photos Walt has hospital clothes on

Cancer back?

Jesse's Cigarettes

Well, we got a good shot of Jesse's cigarette pack when he hid the ricin. But, I still don't know what they are. I know they are not Sandia or Parliment however.

"Brothers" episode

The next episode is called Brothers and i was wandering if there is going to be a pair of brothers in it. if so, i thought just maybe that Gus and the DEA cheif might turn out to be the brothers. The other possibility is that Gomez is one of the cartels members brother.

$50 million to the Cartel is nothing.

A raid in Mexico City found a stack of $205 million in cash. That's a mattress sized stack in CASH!

Repeat Episode 7 !

For us in the NYC area, we lost power and need to view episode 7 ! AMC, please reair today!

Episode Summaries

Uh, I just managed to dig up the episode summaries for the rest of the season, on the internet...

They were interesting, to say the least.

Closing shot of Season 4

I've been thinking this and I'm posting it because I've come to believe it. The closing scene of this season will be Walt and Hank drawing down on each other. How CRAZY would that be? Hank's closing the gap. Walt's getting careless. You heard it here...

7.5 million?

Last I remember, Walt and Jesse were splitting 3 million for cooking. When did Walt get a raise, was this ever mentioned on the show?

Only thing I can think of is that maybe the salary is dependent on the amount of meth cooked, and that may have increased. Is this what we're to assume, or does anyone have a better answer?

gus's brother

who is he? i missed it

Hank vs Mike, who would win?

I'm looking forward to an outstanding fight scene between Hank and Mike using knives, hand to hand combat along with guns and sticks to achieve something we would never forget and to talk about for years to come.

I'm sure the writers would make Hank the victor is such a contest regardless of Hank's physical limitations...

gus's fingerprints

what happens to a cold drink cup shortly after yoou fill it ? IT SWEATS !! How could Hank retrive fingerprints from a sweaty wet cup ? Must be some fantastic lab----I'm not buying it ! Come on guys get with the program.

song name

hey anyone know wat the name of the song is?u know,,when the drfting/donutd drivin was happenin??

season 4 episode 7

this will be a great episode i can feel it

New Muscle

I think that Gus and Mike should consider bringin in some new muscle since they are at odds with the cartel. Danny Trejo would be the perfect character for this. He has lived a bad / tough guys life and played a bad guy in many movies.

Cocaine

I wonder if Walt will ever expand into processing cocaine in a lab as well

Happy Birthday, Aaron Paul!

August 27! That's today! xxxx ooo!

Season 4 Episode 6 - Open Thread

Talk about Episode 6, "Cornered."

What's up with the closed captioning?

I noticed that when the characters in Breaking Bad swear, the captions are censored... what's up with that? Why would it be okay to say a curse, but not okay to write it? Weird!

The RV Junk-Yard

OK...so it wouldn't initially let me post what I first wanted to...

This.

Not so much the bit about two more seasons - I guess that's exciting, but in the interview he claims that episodes 1-6 were "a slow burn", and from here on out things get crazy, just like we want.
I think most of us were expecting things to get out of control soon, but it makes my day to here it confirmed from Aaron himself.

Get ready!

My prediction.

Who have been Walt's enemies the last 2 seasons? Tuco and the cousins. Who took out all of them? Hank! I think Hank will be the one to kill Gus. I hope it's Walt that does it but the writers are always very consistent and I can see Hank being to one to ice Gus.

Michael Showers

Michael Showers was found floating in the Mississippi( http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/44269660/ns/today-entertainment/ ) He was in "One Minute" The episode where Hank beats up Jesse.

Last three episodes SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKED

Wake up writers, are you going to cram everything up in the last episode?

taking Breaking Bab off. It is a great show and if shows NM

Can we do anything to stop them from taking it off. We really like it and it provides jobs for our poor state

Season IV, Major Bummer....

First off let me say I'm a huge BB fan. I've turned on a ton of people to this great show. It's been a pleasure watching and enjoying the ride provided by Walt and Jesse.

Now to the bad news. Season IV has been a dud.

All we've gotten is a muddled mess of the ubiquitous Skyler, a series a jokes about Hank's "minerals" and bed pans, and Jesse walking laconically through episode after episode (up until recently).

I have a feeling the writers know how they want the show to end, that there have been much talk about it, but they don't know how to get the characters there. There's been a lot wheel-spinning going on this season. They're resting, and it sucks for the rest of us.

Where the hell is Gus? After a central performance in episode one, we've hardly seen him.

Where the hell is Saul Goodman? A bit scene here and there, but he's barely had a role in the season.

Instead we've gotten the Skyler White Show (she's kinda Albuquerque's version of Mary Tyler Moore - Who can turn the world on with her scowl?) and Hank in bed, using his bed pans or talking about his minerals.

We've also had a lot of coverage of Jesse going to Zombieland. How much air time has to be given to Jesse's home full the worst of what the world has to offer, eating pizza on Jesse's dime? Jesse's zoned after killing Gale. We get it. Really. We do.

There is so much that could have been done with Gus and Saul and Mike (thank God for Mike this season or it would have been total bust).

This has been a great show. A lot is expected because it's been so good.

This season is by far the worst of any in the BB lineage.

I'm almost tempted to tune it out until next year - I'm not sure I can take any more of Skyler turning into Ma Barker (I wonder if after BB is done we might see a spin-off series with Anna Gunn as "Wonder Mom" where she saves Albuquerque as the last standing adult in town). Pink Floyd's "Mother" would make a great theme song.

Season IV. Major Dud.

Come on, Jesse. Sing it.

"Fallacies fallacies..."

Yo. Bounce.

Show Full Episodes On AMC

I drive an 18 wheeler. I missed quite a few of the recent episodes because Im on the road amonth or more at a time. I REALLY wish AMC would have the episodes available to watch on the internet. I have to get updated on Monday quite a bit to keep up

Walt needs to wise up

I think Walt needs to contact people that can bug Gus's and Mikes phone. Maybe he should have a tracking device put on their cars. He should play the same game they do. I also think it would be cool if the guy who had the stroke who was ringing the bell when he tried to poison his boy recovered from his stroke and returned. Walt and Jesse need to get some firepower for a rainy day

Waly needs to wise up

Your Post

Season 5... In the future

Imagine season 5 taking place maybe a few years down the line, presumably resulting from a fallout at the end of season 4... Walt and Jesse have their own opposing businesses, Hank siding with Walt... There's a lot that could be done with a plot like that, especially new breathing room, and less of a burden for continuity if some "years" pass between seasons.

Do you think Gus is itching to kill Walt, or is it just Walt ?

I personally hope/think Gus has put behind Gale's murder, being a very calculating person that he is, and Walt is going the road down to doing something incredible (due to his growing paranoia). Personally i am looking forward to seeing another batch of "Half Measures/ Full Measures" stuff.

I miss Gale's singing. One of my top ten favorite scenes on BrBa.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGpUdZcDCfE

Numbers game

There's been a lot of number crunching speculation
concerning [Br]eaking [Ba]d's body-count
or
Walter White's (I count Jane and the plane passenger among them)
and now
I'm starting to wonder about the total output of Blue Sky
that Walter has produced?
How many ruined lives could you attach to that?

Walt's addiction

I read a review of "Cornered" that pointed out that Walt is jonesing for his addiction as bad as poor Jesse is. An excerpt, "Jesse is jittery and in need of something to keep himself occupied, but now instead of video games and bums fighting over cash it’s drawing out meth addicts with a good ol’-fashioned hole digging. It’s the kind of action that Walt isn’t getting in the lab, which sort of positions Walt’s condition as a form of withdrawal. It’s an addiction to the thrill of being in charge, and his growing marginalization with the business and emasculation in his marriage (at least in his eyes) are keeping him from feeding that addiction." Written by Myles McNutt and found here: http://cultural-learnings.com/2011/08/22/breaking-bad-cornered/

Walt & Skyler--Doing Crime for the Family

Walt got in this to provide for his family, given his time on earth was running out due to cancer. But after getting out, Gus lured him back him with a multi-million dollar paycheck for a 3-month job. Once Walt decided to take the job, his family formed only a small portion of that reason. Walt had become the man and he could make more money. He couldn't let Jesse fill his shoes.

Skyler has made that same choice. Once she decided to stick with Walt, the car wash, money laundering after she was given a clear picture of Walt's world and his position as a "door knocker," she could have walked away, taken the kids and told Walt sayonara. Now she's no longer an accessory, she's a full blown accomplice! If Walt is ever arrested, that gambling story would unravel like a new spool of thread. Someone winning that much money gambling would be remembered by the pros. Skyler would fail a lie detector test.

Isn't this beginning to remind you of that film Animal Kingdom?

I'll follow you Vince Gilligan!

I can't believe they are ending this show at the end of next season! The show is finally starting to attract the attention that it deserves, and they are going to pull the plug NOW?? I could totally see a lot more directions that this show could go if they gave it a few more seasons. For example, I'd like to someday see Walt take over Gus's role somehow. (Not at Los Pollos Hermanos and the laundry, but using his own cover business and distribution model) Also, I'd LOVE to see Hank break bad someday, and perhaps even go to work for Walt!

One thing I can say for sure is that once Breaking Bad ends, I will DEFINITELY watch whatever show or movie that Vince Gilligan does next! Walt was correct when he said that Gale Boetticher wasn't a genius. The TRUE genius here is Vince Gilligan! (And Dave Porter is his equally brilliant musical symbiont!)

skylar

why did skylar get soo fat...what happened...i have not seen the show all season until last night and what a surprise! She always seemed to care about her appearence as an attractive mother/wife. is she acting out against walts vocation??

Walt can't help being fired by his bosses.

Seeing how Walt challenges Gus shows why he was a High School teacher who got fired instead of a tenured professor.

He must have alienated his entrepreneurial colleagues who kicked him off "Gray Matter".

He alienated Bogdan who fired him from the Car Wash.

He got fired from his High School job.

He told Skyler that the whole "NASDAQ sized" enterprise would collapse without him. Gus is just itching to prove him wrong.

got some face with those eye brows?

are the previous owner of the carwash eye brows real or fake? are they glued on> is he related to oscar the grouch?

Mike and Hank

Anyone else think that Mike and Hank are kind of chiral images of each other? They both fight for what they think is right, but in different ways, on different sides of the law, chiral .

Where in the World is Walter White?

Walter White vs. Heisenburg
I put Breaking Bad on such a pedestal because I’ve never seen a television series convey a character so brilliantly as they have with Walter White.
In season 1, we see Walter White and the birth of Heisenburg. The reason I separate the two is because for 50 years Walter White has been Walter White, and it isn’t until he encounters a life or death situation (terminal cancer) that this man decides to quickly be in control of his future and his family’s well-being. The moment he saw the drug-raid on the news at his 50th birthday party (the pilot), Heisenburg was born. When that idea of manufacturing meth turned less into an idea and more into a reality, Walter fed the new persona which eventually took a life of its own.
Killing Krazy 8 was Heisenburg’s first major move, and although Heisenburg became a more prominent persona in Walter’s life, Walter was still there; he could still feel the guilt; the raw emotions of a man who’s killed another man.
In season 2, Heisenburg takes a bigger role with the dealings with Tuco and the hand he plays in Jane’s death. Walter White was still able to feel the weight of the decisions he’d made, and often we saw him debate whether or not he can continue.
In season 3, Heisenburg is put on the shelf following the plane crash, but eventually takes the bait when realizing his product is superior to what is already out there. In “The Fly”, we learn that Walter would have loved to chosen the moment to end his life, and didn’t think his actions would have been drawn out as long as they have. (I choose to believe that Walter was speaking as Walter, and knew that Heisenburg was now inescapable). We all know what Heisenburg did by the end of season 3.
My question is: Is Walter White gone? It seems as though season 4 is shaping Walter White’s character as being completely devoid of Walter White, and wholeheartedly committed to Heisenburg.

Sky, why are you so annoying?

Ok, I have gone back and forth on every character (currently hatin Walt), but Sky has always bothered me. The writing doesnt work in her favor or it's her acting being too convincing as a bee eye itch. I even like Hank's wife now, she's a trooper! Maybe it's just me, wondering if there are others feeling hate for Skylurrr.

I Know what next weeks " explotion is

in the new sneek peek skyler tells walt not to give a problem when he returns the car... Come on hes heisenburg now hes gunna give a problem and how else can he get rid of the car? BOOOM

Goodies in 4.07 - Problem Dog

Next week's episode is going to be awesome!

1. Looks like Hank is back at work and sounds like he has his eye on Gus.
2. We might find out who is right with regard to the number on the Los Pollos Hermanos napkin ... a bank account? A serial number?

3. Looks like we'll see what Walt's explosion is all about.

blowing up cars

i think that walt junior's new car will blow up and will make walt and jesse revolt against gus

Give this a chance fellow AMCers..

Mad Skillz

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Oee0COGOAE

Show him some love!

Let's discuss The super lab

How did that thing get built? What did the workers think they were building down there? A test kitchen for the chicken stores? Was that the laundry basement or was it excavated? And the laundry itself - what kind of industrial laundry requires an operation that size? Hotels? Hospitals? When I was a kid I always wondered how Bruce Wayne built the Batcave - That was finally explained in 'The Dark Knight.' Now I want to know about Gus's super lab. Thoughts?

Shotgun

Okay,I just watched Shotgun. Why did Gus have Mike set up Jesse in an elaborate scheme to make him look like a "hero"??

Jesse's Cigarettes

What brand of cigarettes does Jesse smoke? I am not a smoker, but I have never seen that blue pack before.

Better Call Saul

Anyone else dying to see more of Saul Goodman?

This guy is magic when he hits the screen. I'd like to see Walt and Saul become buddies. See Saul corrupt Walt before treks off to meet his maker.

Three characters I want to see and know more about:

Gus
Mike
Saul

Who are these guys?

How did they get where they are?

What makes 'em tick?

Forget Hank's bed pans and minerals.

Does anyone care about Marie complusive stealing?

Hasn't Skyler stolen enough air time? ZZZZzzzzzz.....

Let's call Saul and get this party going.

How will Walt meet his demise?

Cancer? Gunshot to face? Ricin? How do you think Walt will go when he eventually meets his maker?

Final season broken into two parts

Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing at the news. Now we will have a proper send-off for the show.

Season 4 Episode 5 - Open Thread

Talk about Episode 5, "Shotgun."

Walt is about to pop! Heisenberg is coming!

Everyone is on Walt and talking down to him, even jesse and next episode Bogdan. Walt is near his breaking point. I believe he is gonna get bad news about his cancer soon and this will free him mentally to not care and Heisenberg returns!!!

Will Walt go back to Skyler?

After their "intimate encounter" Skyler asks Walt to move back in, and Walt responds by telling her he has to go to work. And when Walter Jr asks mentions that Walt will be moving back in on Tuesday, Walt seems surprised. I think he's still angry about the whole "Ted and Skyler" situation. In my opinion, I think Walt should stay away from Skyler. She may seem "smart" and business savey, but the idiot googled "money laundering" on her computer. I think she will be the death of him.... literally.

Marie's kleptomania

With the re-emergence of her disorder this season, I got to wondering...back in Season 1, Skylar was selling tchotches on E-Bay for extra cash.
Did the writers ever reveal whether those were items that had been stolen by Marie, AND did Skylar know it?? ‘Cause the little Hummel figurine that we saw this season fit right into that category.
Just wonderin'.

Which Characters Would You Like to See Return?

BB is great about bringing back actors- Who do you want to see again before the show is done? Here's my list-
1. Steve Gomez. Gotta assume we'll be seeing him soon and that his absence can only be attributed to Hank's lack of DEA work.

2. Donald Margolis- I feel like he could crop up again somehow, as a reminder of the horror of the plane crash, which Walt and Jesse seem to have all but moved on from.
3. Gretchen (and Maybe Elliot?) They are such a vague yet crucial part of Walt's backstory. Surely there's more to explore there.
4. The Arms Dealer from "One Minute". This actor killed the role, and was extremely funny. I was actually a bit bummed when the gun dealer in 38 snub was a different dude, although that guy was great ina completely different way. Surely in a show about drug wars this arms dealer could reemerge, albeit in another small appearance.
5. The Jerk who had his car sabotaged by Walt. When this happened, Wat was a really likeable guy rebelling against a jerk. It would be interesting to see the similarities between these two if they encountered one another now.

What're your picks?

Marie's purple corkscrew

Does anyone know where I can buy it?

Skylar at "Four Corners"

Nice fake monument...better than the real one
Kind of like the O'Keeffe museum

Who will be left standing?

SImple question, when itd all said and done who do you think will survive the series

Walt already killed off Gus, Gus just doesn't know it.

Everyone look up Dimethylmercury, just a drop will kill you within ten months, with the symptoms won't show up till month eight or so, by then it's too late. We know Walt uses chemistry to solve all his "problems", this will work perfectly.

suck

breaking bad is reeeeealy starting to suck! lack of ideas on the show.they need new writers..

Surprised by Walt's Behavior in the Episode 'Shotgun'

Walt's precarious decision at the dinner table to persuasively renew Hank's interest in the investigation was not among Walt's actions that surprised me. Walt's ego boded problematic from the start.

I was surprised by Walt's risky driving on his way to Los Pollos considering the extent of his risky driving and the fact that he was carrying a firearm illegally.

Angry on Shows departure so quickly

Nothing but this news had forced me to start this.
we HAD TO wait more then a year for the fourth season, and now AMC is telling us this show will be ending in twelve months time(fifth season will start early next year).
I MEAN, this is MEEEEEN,MEAN MEAN MEAN.

What does Gus do with all his ill-gotten gains?

He works as a manager owner of a fast food restaurant. He drives a car and lives in a house befitting a prosperous but not extravagantly wealthy owner of a couple of small businesses (the restaurant and laundry).

His drug dealing is a constant headache and makes him kill people all the time while always having to watch his back. Whatever rewards he is getting from the drugs, it's not been shown on the show.

Walt's hair.....or lack of it

He is done with his chemo.....his hair should be back

How's Walt gonna kill Ted?

You know its gonna happen, right?
Walt's been itching to kill all season, with Gus teasing that urge at every opportunity... someone is gonna get got. Soon.

My bet: Ted Beneke.

Question is: how?

Discuss.

"Cornered"

'Skyler makes an unsettling discovery. Walter, Jr. pushes his dad into a questionable purchase. Jesse offers Mike some unexpected help.'

1. That Walt was associated with "the crazy singing man",
2. His 'birthday' car,
3. He continues to grow into Victor's replacement.

mike

the most interesting character to me ,he has the least to say and honestly scares the crap out of me

Renewed, but...only 24 more episodes...EVER!!

I knew the end was coming, but don't think I'm ready for it. This is not going to end well for anyone.

Walt slips up and tells Skyler that Gale was murdered

Skyler didn't know anything about Gale until Walt Jr brought it up and Hank explained. Walt drunkenly slips up yet again, inadvertently letting Skyler know that a possible associate has been murdered. Will she think that Walt murdered Gale? More secrets, more lies.

M1-MB042266-GER

What does this number mean? Why did Gale write it on a Los Pollos Hermanos napkin? Of all the evidence found in Gale's apartment, the one thing missing is his money.

HANK'S SAD NEWS

The teaser for last night's episode said Hank shares some sad news. What was the news? I can't find Hank giving any news at all. Did anyone else get it?

Mike

Jonathan Banks continues to amaze me every week. He plays Mike with just the right amounts of danger, humor, and weariness, and his "You're not the guy" scene with Jesse was hilarious. I'm definitely looking forward to see more of them together.

Hungry For Pollo

Wow. It takes too long for the episodes to come out.
This cast is really fun to watch them. The actors and charactures go well together.

The Bee Emblem on the barrell

The logo on the barrell Walt dropped. Anyone else wonder if thats a reference to an old fraternity of sorts, or just an insane coinsedence.

The view through Walt's glasses

Yeep! I thought it was inevitable that they'd get back together. It's obvious they've never gotten over each other, but at the same time, Walt kind of took the coward's way out.

Your thoughts?

Prediction for episode 6

Walt gets a Porsche . . .

We all need to get rid of this pest on our site...

He shows up every sunday on the watch & chat to spam messages and irritate everyone who is on the forum. He used to go by the name of Bevimore. Every time he gets on the forum, someone reports him and gets his account banned, but then promptly makes a new one. However, he always makes the profile picture a close-up of a grey cat. We must put a stop to him from the root and ban his IP address, if possible. I guarantee all of you that he will be back next sunday in some way, shape, or form. I ask all of you to be on active lookout for him and report him for spam immediately, for the good of the entire community.

Thank you

Walt's shirt in season 4 episode 4

Hello, I would like to know where I could find the red, blue and purple checked shirt Walt is wearing at the beginning of the episode "Bullet points". Thanks for your help!

Very poor AMC HD Picture Quality

Hi, I have been struggling with very poor AMC HD picture quality, is anyone else having the same issues? I have seen many posts about this on other forums, it seems this is a problem with AMC not the cable networks. If you have this problem too, can you please make some noise with me? I like many of AMC's show but am very distracted by heavy pixelation and other problems, forcing me to watch in SD vs. HD.

Confirmed Pic from Season 4 Finale...

To the Writers

Hello gorgeous great writers of this show: need to tell you something. The reason you got me hooked is, who wouldn't love a square in his tighty wighties in over his head and scared shitless right?! But - here's the reason I love your show the most - and why don't I see the cast discussing this on the ads? JESSE IS THE MORAL COMPASS. That's what makes the show truly beutiful. And meaningful. And better than anything I've seen ever.

Hope somebody who writes this great thing is listinen...

MAM

Did Gale's notebook help Ron Paul today??

I don't know...he came in a close second in the Iowa polls. I think he needs to thank Breaking Bad for a new fan base.

I'm just the bitch mom who wouldn't cut you any slack

When Skyler dropped that line you could almost tell it was an extension of not only her character, but self, as I'm sure she knows how her character is viewed by the general population. Beautiful delivery with lots of overtones...

First post though I've been trolling for a long time... Feel free to leave that matter of fact comment insulting both my own and your intelligence... Now!

"That's Montgomery Clift, honey!"

In the current media round-up blog here, there's a link to an interview with Jonathan Banks ("Mike" on "BrBa,"where he compares Aaron Paul to the late, great Montgomery Clift. I thought that was very interesting, and went looking for something to post to give people who'd never seen Clift a little taste of what he was like. I was afraid people might be turned off by black& white clips, but the music here is so cool, I thought it would be appropriate:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wDqwm-Yhmo
Also - in that current picture of Aaron on the "Episode 5-Watch & Chat" thread, he has a very Clift-like intensity.

Where can a person buy a 1lb prop bag of the blue meth

Halloweens coming up. I've been told I'm a ringer for Walt's Heisenberg in a pork pie and my shaved head/gotee. Anyone.........Vince ?........prop guy ?..........

very surprised no one has brought up the all seeing eye yet?!

has everyone already forgotten that the eye showed back up in box cutter?

Just Sayin'...

I reeeeally wish people would stop spelling Skyler as 'Skylar'.
That is all.

My season 4 theories...or at least how'd I'd do it

Gus has a better plan for Walt and Jesse than just merely killing them

If anything, we know that Gus ALWAYS has a plan. But the plan isn't to kill Walt, no no no. If that was the case, Walt would be dead already. Gus's one desire is to control Walt; he demands loyalty. He is calm, calculating, and pathological. I believe he's going to turn Jesse against Walt. Jesse's state of shock right now has left him vulnerable to manipulation. And right now, Jesse despises Walt for what he forced him to do. If Gus can get to Jesse, then he'll have walt by the balls. Walt is a loose cannon and in his paranoid frame of mind, he is a danger to Gus's entire operation. "Walt is the danger"

But it doesn't end there...

One thing we all know is that Walt is at his best when backed into a corner. Gus's plan will only cause Walt to react and we've seen what happens when Walt reacts. Gus's plan will only push Walt. He too is calculating, but he's also smarter than Gus. Gus underestimates Walt. His plan will only lead to a final stand-off between these two super powers. "Walt is the danger"

I believe by the end, Walt and Jesse will seize control of Gus's operation. We'll see Walt become Heisenberg, yes. We'll see a much darker Jesse than ever before. Jesse would become the kingpin he's always wanted to be; the frontman of the whole gig. Walt would be the silent, yet sinister leader. Of course, this means they'll inherit the war with the cartel; leading to Season 5.

At least that's how I'd do it...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKYLAR !!!

Anna Gunn, Born:August 11, 1968 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA
Anna Gunn currently stars as Skyler White on AMC's Emmy award winning show Breaking Bad, garnering considerable critical acclaim.

Have a very special day.

I have figured out what season 4 is all about!!!!

You don't have to agree or if it is already clear to everyone don't make me feel like crap. But I think about the logo for this season: "WALT IS NOT IN DANGER, HE IS THE DANGER". A lot of people have been whining the last couple episodes, as in Thirty-Eight Snub and Open House, about how no one's threatening Walt's life so there is no intensity or scare for Walt's existence. People think it's lame since Gus hasn't tried to kill Walter or anything. Like he's just making himself believe Gus is trying to kill him. Well it's the truth. Gus probably doesn't have a plan cause this season's not about Gus trying to kill Walt again and Walt surviving by the skin of his teeth. It's about Walt's mental transformation, fully into Heisenberg. The drama for Walt in this season is being relentlessly worried about Gus killing him. He just can't believe him killing Gale kept him alive. He thinks Gus is too smart of a villain to let that stop him from finding a way to kill Walt. It's making Walt extremely paranoid. Which I'm assuming any of us would be in that situation. That's why in the next episode he's going to Gus' chicken place asking for Gus. He's making himself believe Jessie's disappearance was a chess move made by Gus when, in fact, it was made by the Cleaner with Gus' blessing. He's gonna go after Gus. He wants any excuse to kill Gus so he doesn't have to keep worrying for his life everyday. And that my friends is why Walter is the DANGER and why this season will be the best season of Breaking Bad EVER!!!!! Sorry for the over-elaborateness.

Did anyone catch the Gary Larson "Far Side" cartoon in Gale's Notebook?

There is one where a professor is standing in front of a blackboard full of equations and a man is pointing a gun at him. The caption is: "Because you know too much, that's why."
'Cause if it's that one, I will have died and gone to heaven."

More true-life methcapades in the news

It turns out Hank's current physical inability to carry on his "War on Drugs" has become an unwitting metaphor for the actual DEA and their "War on Drugs" -- complete failure that it is. Read on:

AP IMPACT: Cutbacks force retreat in war on meth

By JIM SALTER
Associated Press

ST. LOUIS -- Police and sheriff's departments in states that produce much of the nation's methamphetamine have made a sudden retreat in the war on meth, at times virtually abandoning pursuit of the drug because they can no longer afford to clean up the toxic waste generated by labs.

Despite abundant evidence that the meth trade is flourishing, many law enforcement agencies have called off tactics that have been used for years to confront drug makers: sending agents undercover, conducting door-to-door investigations and setting up stakeouts at pharmacies to catch people buying large amounts of cold medicine.

The steep cutbacks began after the federal government in February canceled a program that provided millions of dollars to help local agencies dispose of seized labs. Since then, an Associated Press analysis shows, the number of labs seized has plummeted by a third in some key meth-producing states and two-thirds in at least one, Alabama.

The trend is almost certain to continue unless more states find a way to replace the federal money or to conduct cheaper cleanups.

Jesse's Jacket

Anybody have any idea what jacket (label, designer, etc.?) Jesse is wearing in Open Thread? Specifically the scene where he's leaving his house and getting rambling dude to pick up pizza? It's a bad ass jacket.

Question

How come this website lets me start a topic but wont let me reply to anything inside posts?

The Finale

I read somewhere Bryan Cranson says the final moments of this season shocked him to sh*t. My question is what do you think that could be?

That thing Cranson does with his eyes... you know, acting...

The look on his face when the karaoke video played in Hanks bedroom. Fantastic.

Mike got in on some of that action this episode too with Jesse crapping a assload of non-fear into his face on the staircase. Kinda reminded e of those times my mom told me I was getting too big for my britches, only to have me point out that my highwater bellbottoms were indeed too small and horribly out of fashion to boot...

But most of all, Saul did this weeks ass-kicking eye-acting during his session with Walt.
His face during that scene said everything a rational person might say aloud. The unease expressed when Walt asked why it is that he is the only one who acts in a professional manner... I could feel Sauls butterflies. Stellar job Odenkirk.

great post you need to read

this is from another site but this guy is always on task when it comes to breaking bad...if you got a minute..give it a gander.

hey who here likes the chain-link fence guy's rants!!??

He's one of my favorite recurring gag characters ever on this show. Not that there's any other ones that have ever been on the show.

Victor's Car, Gale's cellphone

Victor drove to Gale's house and clearly called him on his cell phone to warn him about Jesse (the phone was vibrating on the table when Jesse shot Gale). Since Victor had Jesse drive them to the lab, what happened to Victor's car? And whose numbers are on Gale's cell phone?

HANK'S BED SPREAD

Did anyone notice that the bed spread on Hank's bed was not purple anymore. It was kind of a magenta. What does that mean?

Ron Paul sticker in Lab Notes Hidden Message?

I've been hearing a lot of people talk about how its wrong to put the sticker in the lab note folder because its offensive saying anyone who likes Ron Paul is a meth head and about Gales political status. I had a different take on it but hadn't seen anyone else say what I thought and that is they were putting a subtle hint to who killed Gayle because Ron Paul is pretty similar to aaRON PAUL the real life name of Jesse. I was curious what other people were thinking about this subject.

Music In Breaking Bad

I created a mixtape entirely based on sounds from the past 3 seasons in Breaking Bad. Let me know what you fans think > http://southpawbrown.bandcamp.com/releases

Which character has the highest body count?

Aside from Donald Margolis, I think Mike has killed more people. 7 so far.

I wanna kill skyler she drive me crazy...she does not have common sense and I start to turn off the show when she start to show up and doing something and start to talk....it is turn off.and I think as far as skyler keep screw the show i amnot watching breaking bad...I will be back when skyler is gone from the show....yeppy
.

Welcome back, Prophet!

PROPHET IS BACK! YES

Everyone check in here if you missed one of our favorite posters!

Victor's Car

Victor must have driven to Gale's residence but returned to the lab in Jesse's car. Seems like the police would survey the license plates in the area for leads.
Also, in the case file for the Gale slaying, the obituary reports the event occurred at 8:30 p.m. but the police reports said at 10:40. Probalbly an oversight but could be disinformation. Just a few minor observations that may be on no significance.

Where is Mike taking Jesse?

Is Mike taking Jesse to Mexico to give him to the Cartel? At least we won't have to listen to that awful music every time Jesse is on screen now.

is there a season 5?

Hope so.

WOW! Major evidence in Gale's lab notes!

They make mention of several supply companies by name. They refer to a laundry that may need to be moved due to filtration and also refer to possibly using existing filtering system, chemical deliveries, and waste disposal systems. How many existing businesses are going to have all that? How many industrial laundries? There are also diagrams showing the lab underneath some other installation with a service elevator going down to it. Even Hank ought to be able to find this place.

Why does this link never seem to work?

Jesse and Walt are this generations Larry and Balki

Breaking Bad plotlines are seeming eerily similar to the overall plotline of Perfect Strangers. Down the the episode number in some instances.
I am beginning to suspect that the wroters and creators of the show are practicing veiled homage with this seeries, and am using me Season 4 set of perfect strangers to estimate plot points. So far I have guessed that Gus would spray Victors Blood all over the place, that victor would get blamed for killing heisenberg, and that Jesse will start spending some real time in the gym and getting his life in order before leavingand ecoming a youth choir instructor. So far, The Balki System has netted me 2 of three correct occurances, and I expect the trend to continue. I will post further findings in detail here.

Hah! Guess who killed Gale? :-)

Police are looking for an Hispanic male (see the evidence folder under "games * quizzes". I'm betting that guy who was hog-tied by Mike at the end of Bullet Points is going to be framed for the hit.

The lab getting moved to the car wash

What do you guys think about this, I think the way Walt will get Gus is not by killing him but telling him that the DEA knows about the lab. Then Gus may move the lab to the car wash or something. Because there is going to be mad heat on Gus this season. His trucks are even getting shot up...

Why won't Mike kill the guy?!

He blind fold him? what does that prove?

Skylar :(

Why are they giving her a bigger part, she is annoying.

I'm new to chat.

I am new here just trying it out.

break bad

how do i watch live from comp?

Thought he had dumbo ears

Bullet in the Tea Kettle?

The whole fingerprints found in the Gale Boetticher crime scene has got me thinking. The bullet Jesse fired stopped directly in the tea kettle, now I'm not all that sure visible vestiges of Jesse's fingerprints could still be on the bullet after being shot but it could very well be a possibility. We may also see a flashback of the Gale incident as the episode opens, I don't think we will but the tea kettle thing does got me thinking more.

In another note the cartel seem to take a shot at the Season for the first time this Season tonight and it seems to take place in Mexico givin the orange hue of the film in the promos. Mike may seem to be extra busy so I don't think Walt will bug Hank's house as I though in the past, seeing the recorder on Saul's desk.

I predict that Bullet Points will have many meanings tonight as I see the rest of the Season's names. How about that camera, maybe Walt would find vantage points or "bullet points" in an attempt to store his gun then use? It's reaching but you never know.

Check out these last sneak peek photos for tonights episode. (slight spoilers) I'd wait till after the show to watch the photos.

I'm speculating on Walt's coat being zipped again in the lab... not major picture spoilers but it's still something to be considered.

I think Breaking Bad fans are sexist!!!!

This isn't the 50's!!! Women can be BAD ASS!!!! Skylar's LARGE and IN CHARGE!!!

Why I think Breaking Bad isn't past its prime....

Breaking Bad season 3 was the start of reinventing the show. They might have had more "fillers" per say than season 1 and 2 but the climactic episodes in season 3 were just as big if not bigger pay-offs than the previous seasons. That's why I think people should stick with season 4 longer cause it's just starting and it could be another amazing season.

Music At Jesse's Party

I am trying to find the name of the artist that is playing at Jesse's party when he was dancing with that blonde and he was looking up at the ceiling. Does anyone know who that artist is and the name of the song?

Thanks

Walt gets it worse...

I was browsing pictures on season 4 and I stumbled across this picture:

http://meanmassive.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/breaking-bad-season-4-walter.jpg

Obviously this means that Walt will get a worse beating than episode 2. Only by who? Mike? or maybe even Gus' new assistant. Who knows. One thing is though, I would love to see him fight back for once.

Hate Skyler Forum

It seems that a larger and larger number of posts are about what people hate about Skyler White. It's getting to where I'm becoming less involved because some of the postings are adolescent at best.

Why doesn't AMC, or someone, create a separate Skyler bashing forum, then it will make it easier to avoid for those of us who'd rather discuss other aspects of the show . . .

Re: FX approached on Amc's hit “Breaking Bad”

I am currently unable to post a link. Here is the article:

“FX has been approached about taking on 'Breaking Bad' if its creators can't work out a deal for a fifth season on AMC, TheWrap has learned.
But the show is likely to stay put, in part because negotiations seem to be improving between Sony Pictures Television, which produces the show, and AMC.
The Los Angeles Times reported Monday that negotiations on the fifth season reached an impasse after AMC sought to cut the show's fifth -- and perhaps final -- season from 13 episodes to between six and eight.
The apparent improvement in negotiations since then has reduced the likelihood of a move to FX or another network. (The Times first reported that the show had approached other, unnamed networks.)
FX initially considered airing the show -- about a high school chemistry teacher who begins making crystal meth to support his family after a cancer diagnosis -- before it debuted on AMC in 2008. But it passed because at the time it already had three shows centered on antiheroes -- "The Shield," "Nip/Tuck," and "Rescue Me."
FX executives were also nervous that advertisers and viewers might reject a show with a lead character who makes meth. But those fears have evaporated as the show has proven itself one of the best on television -- and star Bryan Cranston has won three consecutive Emmys for best dramatic actor.
Still, other obstacles remain, even if the show does look for a new home. The main sticking point is that FX or another network would be much less likely to pick up a show for just one or two seasons.
Creator Vince Gilligan has often said "Breaking Bad" will chronicle the transformation of Cranston's character, Walter White, "from Mr. Chips to Scarface."
With Walt's ordering a ruthless murder in the third season finale, he seems to be moving quickly in that transformation -- which raises the question of how much story remains to be told. Gilligan told TheWrap in an interview last year he was determined not to wear out the show's welcome.
The show's conflicts with AMC are only the latest for the network, which twice entered into long, public negotiations with "Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner.
"Mad Men," another Emmy magnet, helped put the network on the map for original programing with its 2007 debut, and "Breaking Bad" became its second critically acclaimed success. AMC has since expanded with shows including the highly rated "The Walking Dead," the canceled "Rubicon," "The Killing," and the upcoming "Hell on Wheels."
But in another sign of creative tension, the network announced last week the departure of "Walking Dead" creator Frank Darabont.

Steven Bauer to be in Episodes 8 & 10 this season!

Steven Bauer will play the part of Don Eladio in episodes 8 & 10 next month. This is particularly interesting because he played Manny Rivera, Tony Montana's partner in "Scarface". I'm definitely looking forward to this! More info here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1683095/combined

I agree with Poniepozik's Time article.

I believe AMC will renew BrBa for a full fifth season.

Talk Forum User Guide?

ok. Dumb question, considering how many times I have posted, but anyway, is there a way to "bookmark" a section of a thread so I can revisit it later? I have been scrolling through the whole lot of them to find the discussion I was participating in. I can view my activity feed, but when I select my comment, it just jumps to the whole thread, and not my comment. And how would I find a thread I didn't comment on?
*Facepalm* anticipated, but hey, everyone has holes in their knowledge base, eh? This might be a useful "sticky" for newcomers.
Thanks in advance everyone!

Time Magazine Article 03/08/11

After reading James Poniepozik's article "Too much Breaking Bad or Too Little" in Time Magazine this morning, I was gob smacked at the prospect of the series coming to an end.! Vince Gilligan has stirred our imaginations and written THE best drama series in television history. I have never seen a series that has kept me on the edge of my seat for over a year, patiently waiting for the inspirational impact of the answer to my questions that ended the cliff hanger of the past season. Not since "Who Shot J.R." has there been the nail bitting suspense from season to season.
The quality of this show has been evidenced at the Emmys, where it wins repeatedly for Best Actor, Best Dirrector, Best Drama Series.Vince Gilligan delivers excellent writing, with dark humour, plot twists and the emotional/spiritual impact of crystal meth on family dynamics. When the show does end, it will have a legacy as having set the bar at excellence for every other drama series that comes after it..Quality is the definition of Breaking Bad, however don't leave us quite yet.I believe in the show and I disagree with Mr Poniewozik. Theres is still alot more story left to tell. Keep it poignant, current to our times, funny, shocking, suspenseful, heart felt and intelligent.Keep on keeping on Vince Gilligan...we arent finished with Walter, Jesse,Skyler,Hank, Marie or even Gus quite yet!!

Season 4 EP 2 Jessie's song at the start of the episode???

I must know the name of this song. It is amazing and I cant find the name of the song by typing lyrics in google.

Need Help With Thirty-Eight Snub Episode

Being short on time and essentially lazy, can anyone tell me the actor's name who played the gun dealer?

His dialogue was unbelievably spot on. Classic. How would one go about acquiring the actual dialog?

Everybody Thumbs this Post Up...

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, if so, great minds think alike.

I'd love to see a flashback scene of Jesse as a high school student in Walter's class and get a glimpse of them then, a bit of foreshadowing of things to come.

So thumbs this up so hopefully the writers put it in Season 5 or at least in the series finale, great way to remind us what this show is all about, Walter and Jesse the greatest team in TV history, you know the good old days before Skyler got involved.

So thumbs it up. I know it's going to set a bad trend where the fans dictate what's written, but I feel this is a must!

402 Snub Nose

When will 402 Snub nose be on the AMC site to watch???

PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE HOW SEASON 4 IS STARTING.

If the only thing you like about BB is the action and heisenberg then stop watching because this show is mostly a drama. If you want constant action watch the walking dead , every episode somebody dies. So basically breaking bad is not the show for you,the writers of breaking bad are trying to build a story here and if you are to impatient to wait go f your self.

Everybody Just Relax, The Show's in Good Hands

It's been said recently that AMC is having trouble negotiating the possible upcoming 5th Season of Breaking Bad and I'd like to say not to worry too much about it. The longer TV shows air the the higher the expense and this seems to be the problem. A consideration to have a "six to eight" episode Season 5 has been suggested but thrown out of consideration and is highly unlikely to happen as well as a Transfer to another network. TV shows being taken to other networks is usually a last resort and hardly ever happens. AMC executives state that they very much DON'T intend on removing the show to another channel. In fact AMC executives indeed would like to have Breaking Bad go beyond Seasonn 5 if anything after further research.
In addition, despite what you may most likely hear about Season 5 being the final Season It's only Vince's predicament that he thinks that may be the best road to take. It's not a 100% sure thought though so you may (still) never know but if that is the case, If it's in the show's best intentions, which always is ; ) then for sure we'll not be disappointed about anything, I promise.

My prediction of things to come!

I have a feeling that Gus and Walt are going to be forced to work together because Hank and the DEA are going to be closing in on them. When they get out of the crosshairs of the FBI, (Heisenberg Hat) Walt will kill Gus when he has his guard down!

Favorite All-Time Breaking Bad Scenes?

My favorite: The Wendy sequence toward the end of Season 3. In particular, the "glamour shot" of her opening the Mug rootbeer and drinking from it with the foam running down the can, while "Everyone knows it's Wendy" plays in the background.

Has Breaking Bad ever made you want to Break Bad?

I would be lying if I said it hasn't? Certainly all of us are capable to breaking bad from the most minor of offenses to the worst.

Pretty sure we've all entertained the idea of breaking bad, played out scenarios in our heads. As the old saying goes, "An idle mind is the Devil's playground." In the case of Vince Gilligan, the greatest show of all time.

So please do tell, share if you've ever thought of breaking bad or have in any way shape or form. Should be interesting.

I'll be first. Cheated on my girlfriend, told her about it, then played it off as a joke, used the L word (love) to convey that I was only joking and that I would never do a thing like that.

Then when I broke up with her, sent her the pictures. Long story as to why I broke bad, suffice it to say I was not wrong for doing it. I was justified. I swear to God it was the best thing I did, breaking bad.

meth straight up!

it's so real it's scary! take head that shit will kill most people or f#%$ of thier whole live's if they become a slave to the trade...TAKE HEED..YOUNGSTERS...

Who else loves Gus?

Mysterious, intelligent, ruthless. Loves to cook Chilean dishes that bring him back to his childhood. Appreciates and respects Walt's knowledge. Meticulously changes his clothing before slicing the jugular of a soldier who messed up. A man of few words. What's not to love?

Jesse

why has he gone so crazy letting people party and trash his house while he is gone and put himself at such risk ?

I will boycott AMC!!!

AMC is offering only 6-8 episodes for season 5! Vince and crew are thinking of (or bluffing) moving to another network. I will never watch anything on AMC if they screw over Breaking Bad. Skyler White

Are the writers purposely making her to be a despicable bitch?

I mean last night's show was so predictable. Skyler, with her all-knowing magic powers, wanting the car wash and getting the car wash. Maybe they should put her in a Wonder Woman out fit.

Part of this show's charm is the vulnerability of the characters and the unpredictability of the show. When Skyler comes on the screen now there is none of that. We know exactly what's going to happen. Skylar is never wrong. She never fails. Some of the writers must have some real mommy issues.

I love the show and watch it will several different large groups from time to time. No one I've talked to can stand Skyler these days.

Let's hope before the season's done she gets what's coming to her: A good doze of what it means to be human. Or maybe the writers can find some sort of kryptonite to make her more appealing.

Most everyone I know wishes Gus would've taken the box cutter to her instead of Victor.

Curb the bitch that is Skyler White!
