I'm Diein' Here...WHO WON?!?
Curiosity killed the cat ya know! Ha ha!
Seriously...who did win? We want to congratulate you!!
Also...which ones of you have "applied" for the positions as moderators within this forum?
Welcome everyone. It feels good to be back in our beloved forum after almost a year.
And to be experiencing what is arguably the best show ever made.
Who's frank?
The synopsis for season 3 states:
Events spiral out of control; Skyler asks for Saul's help; Marie returns to an old past time; a friend asks Frank for help.
So who's Frank?
WILL MIKE’S ERROR BE A FATAL ONE….FOR HIM ?
In Ep313 Mike had a very simple assignment , kill Walter White. But instead Mike slipped up on this very simple task. In fact not only did Mike not kill Walter but he allowed him a phone call that cost Gus his new lead chemist. Gus has seen Mike take care of four professional assassins by himself … but he can’t take care of one middle aged High School teacher !? Gus may see Mikes inability to complete his assignment as him slipping or , even worse, that Mike is actually conspiring with Walter. Gus may also know about Mikes little friendly visit (i.e. No Half Measures) to Walt’s home. In short Gus may now see Mike as a liability . Mikes death may serve Gus in many ways; get rid of a liability , kill someone he no longer trusts, appease the Cartel and intimidate Walter . This is how I see it playing out ; Mike and Victor bring Jesse and Walter to the lab, and Gus meets them there. There is a heated discussion where Gus indicates he’s fed up with mistakes and disloyalty … the speech seems directed at Walter , but it’s really for Mike. The next thing we know is that Victor , from behind at close range, places two 9mm rounds behind Mikes ear. This could all happen on the same night that Gale was shot … i.e. in the first half hour of Ep401. Possible a homage to De Niro “bat scene” in Untouchables… De Niro walking behind his staff with a baseball bat … talking about what he doesn’t like and then …BAM ! One less gangster.
Premier watch party
I'm in Nashville. Anybody in the hood interested in a watch party for the S4 premier?
BELL RINGING GUY
Hey there! My husband and I have just started watching Season 3. We can't remember who the bell guy is. We remember how annoying he is!! We don't remember where he came into the story or how. Can someone help us out?
Thanks!!
Music - who is that artist?
There is a scene (season 3) with the character Gale Boetticher in his living room playing an album. I cannot figure out who the artist is... it almost sounds like the music genre of gypsy swing. Can anyone identify the artist? It's not listed as a music credit.
Please send me a copy of episode 1.
I will review it and let you know how good it is. Really, I will, I promise. (Psst, I won't reveal anything to anyone else either)
Actually, you can just send the whole season. I'll let you know what I think 13 hours later....

Vince Gilligan Talks BREAKING BAD Season 4 and 5
Great interview.

How did Gus and crew get Jesse into the lab with Walt?
Did Victor get the drop on him and force him back to the lab? Jesse was supposedly 20 minutes closer than Victor so how could he get there in time?
Did Walt somehow lure Jesse somewhere so they could grab him? I really don't think Jesse is that dumb but he may be in a state of shock and so isn't thinking clearly.
How do YOU think he got there?
Please fix this site AMC!
I've been wanting to retake some of the quizzes while I wait for S4, but those pages are all jumbled on my screen. I've pretty much given up trying to use this talk forum cause it's been all screwed for a long time. Will you please get things fixed here? Thanks in advance!
Music for Br Ba
Anyone have certain songs that remind them of Breaking Bad? Something that hasn't played on the show before or that you think might fit into their soundtrack...
Working with Breaking Bad
Thank you to all the cast and crew it was a blast working with you on the shooting for season4. Miss you guys already, hope to see you for the next season. Aaron you were great to watch in action, simply amazing!!!
What If .... ?
Anyone got any crazy predictions ?? =)
Just think, if BB started in March as everyone wanted.....
It would be just about over by now. As it is we have several months of superb entertainment on the way!
Just finished season 3 on Netflix.
Best show on TV. I have no fingernails left and the edge of my seat is treadbare. Amazing!
Season Four Wrap Party!
. . . supposedly from someone who works on the set:
"It is a little early but how about a silly little behind the scenes moment from the wrap party. Nothing too exciting, just funny. Each year, Aaron & Bryan always dress up and do silly things. One year, Bryan dressed as Jesse Pinkman and Aaron dressed as Walter White. Last year, Bryan dressed as Skyler while Aaron made a Very Convincing Jane. This year, Aaron came clad in a chicken suit and Bryan came as Tio, wheelchair and all. He made one hell of a Tio."
TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF! :)

What's the color of summer?
Yesterday I got an e-mail promoting summer fashions. The title of it was "The Color of Summer is White." With "Breaking Bad" starting in July this year, I think that line makes a great rallying cry for those of us who've been waiting so patiently for the new season.
What's the color of summer 2011? WHITE (with a little splash of PINKman)!
Expect To See a Horrifing Gus in Season 4
The title "Box Cutter" has been official announced yesterday in the Breaking Bad schedule in the AMC website and I have speculation as to what it may mean. Earlier in a Breaking Bad Blog linking to a website Vince Gilligan says in an interview that Gus is going to get far more powerful. The way I see it is that Gus is going to hold nothing back with his character as him and Walt stare down upon one another (metaphorically) in an intelligent and brutallistic manner.
Yesterday, June 16th, I stumbled across three new pictures on IMDB and one of which show what "Box Cutter" could mean that's open for interpretation.
I see it as some sort of moment of truth for Walt and Jesse that will end brutally in some way.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2959785472/tt0903747
Go forward one and back one to see two additional new ones (the one after is BADASS!)
As for the 3 pics BrBa338 posted, I saw those too and on the last one you will now know that it is Gus looking down upon them.

Here's an esquisite article on the show as well on the Season 4 premiere.
http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/inside-breaking-bad-tvs-most-exquisitely-agonizing-drama-20110610
I would also like to mention a song that I've recently liked that I like listening to while looking at Breaking Bad pictures like on this website and through out the web including the ones above. I don't know it just seems like a song that would be played on this show like "Horse with no Name" or the song that almost replaced it "Southern Cross"
Listen to it yourself, it does feel Br Ba esque, right?
Start the song at 1:40
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leI7sfmipuI
Anyway, with all this extra stuff being said I truley do see Gus as being a cunning Brutal King Pin this Season for sure. NOT in the sense of another Tuco of course but very smart and tactically horrifying.
One more thing, here's a funny tid bit I thought that made me laugh when I was watching Full Measure several days ago.
when Mike looks at Saul's notebook telling him were to find Jesse think of these words..."Staples, that was easy." LOL!
Don't yall just love how much easier it's geting to get a fix on this show in some way as we get closer and closer to July 17th! Hail Atlantis!
Three New Season 4 Pictures
The website warns that the 2nd and 3rd pics could be spoilers, but I don't think the pics give much away. Look at your own risk I guess. http://www.hitfix.com/galleries/exclusive-three-breaking-bad-season-4-images/1
Breaking Bad ProBoards Fansite

Hey everybody I just started (although a little late) a ProBoards fansite dedicated to this great show. It's still under construction but please check it out!
Thanks!
Season Four Filming is Officially Done!
Hey gang :)
According to 'mrabq'(who works for the show) over on IMDB, the season is IN THE CAN! We are getting closer and closer each day to July 17th . . . YO!!!
Speculation on Episode Titles
While I know there has been thought and discussion on the name of episode one I'm curious on any and all thoughts and or speculations you may have now that a few more titles have been rolled out.
4.01 "El Topo" - If you haven't looked this up take a look and ponder its possible meanings.
Now add to that the next two ep names
4.02 "Thirty-Eight Snub"
4.03 "Open House"
While many episodes and their titles stand alone in meaning equally often they have a connection to one another. More than a month left to ponder them perhaps there is hint in these titles just waiting for us to speculate the dots together.
Thoughts?
Intriguing Casting
According to IMDB, Steven Bauer will be playing Don Eladio in episodes 8 & 10 of season 4. Those familiar with his work might recognize him from Scarface as Tony’s friend/partner Manny. Of course he’s done plenty of other great roles (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000874/) but that’s what I find to be his most memorable one.
I’m pretty excited about this bit of casting news. There’s no way of truly knowing where this is going but it may be a safe bet to say that “Don Eladio” is affiliated with the Cartel.
Unsung Heroes
For nearly 20 years now I've been all about making sure great writing gets the recognition, love and praise its due. While a nod is often given to * the writing * as a whole it rarely goes the distance to praise the name that follows the "Written By" line on the front of the script
Allow me to praise the writing and writers of my two most beloved Breaking Bad scripts
PEEKABO and FLY
Exceptional work I'll never forget!
SAM CATLIN
– Half Measures (2010)
*** FLY (2010) ***
– Green Light (2010)
– 4 Days Out (2009)
– Down (2009)
MOIRA WALLEY-BECKET
*** FLY (2010) ***
– Mas (2010)
– Over (2009)
– Breakage (2009)
J. ROBERTS
*** PEEKABO (2009) ***
– Seven Thirty-Seven (2009)
And naturally...
VINCE GILLIGAN
(while Vince gets a writer credit as creator on most all script these are his *written by* titles.)
- Full Measure (2010)
- No Mas (2010)
- ABQ (2010)
*** PEEKABO (2009) ***
- Cancer Man (2008)
- And the Bags in the River (2008)
- Cats in the Bag (2008)
- Pilot (2008)
Which script and its gifted writer would you most like to praise? If you're not sure on the written by just give me the title and I'll check my list for the proper name.
Odd Thomas
Was in Santa Fe 6/8 for Odd Thomas movie drove my truck and had a lot of fun, nice weather, but the crew (PAs) didnt seem to have it together, would do it again though
"Geographical" block
Hello. I just wanted to say that you should reconsider your innacurate posture of treating Puerto Rico as a foreign country. We ARE USA, domestic, citizens, etc, etc. We have your channel, we follow your programming, we should be able to watch your videos and everything you post on your webpage.
Thank you.
Fan gathering?
By a stoke of luck I will be in LA on a family vacation Breaking Bad premier night July 17th.
Lucky indeed as I'm normally in MI
Knowing a few Breaking Bad fans in the area already planning to have a little premier night fan get together
I'm curious if any of you here are interested in meeting up to watch with us as well.
While its only a handful of us doing pizza and the premier at my LAX area hotel at the moment we could easily branch out to something a bit bigger if more people are interested in joining in.
Assuming you're in the LA area, would you be interested in attending?
The Worst Meth Lab In America
Would not it be intersting if the writers of Beaking Bad included a plot incident in shich a wannabe cook, Skinny Pete for example, actually makes meth by simply mixing pseudo and Drano and baking sode (or whatever) in a 2 liter plastic, shaking it up, drying it out, snorting it to test it then selling it???
Heads Up AMC
We just started watching Breaking Bad this summer. We're love the show and almost caught up. Please tell me you're airing Half Measures and Full Measures before the next season starts.
Giancarlo and Gus

First Season 4 footage revealed in Short Promo!
Did anyone else see Wednesday night's promo for the show revealing two quick clips for the new Season?! It wasn't much but it was there! The commercial starts with Walt and Gus staring down one another from "Full Measure" then you hear Walt answering to Gus from the Season 4 Premiere saying, "What did you expect me to do, to just roll over, NOT TAKE MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS?!" After that it shows quick shots of Season 3 then a few seconds of Walt leaning forward on his chair in the lab saying those words. Next after a few more Season 3 shots you hear the announcer promoting the upcoming season with Walt walking down the prairie in "Full Measure" and finally it ends with the other piece of footage, Walt siting in a chair wearing a tuxedo as he quickly pulls out a gun and points it at the camera.
To get a better idea of how the first shot looked check out this photo of Walt and Jesse being held in the lab and imagine the camera being on the left of Walt's head as he make's his dialogue with a look of anger and desperation as he leans forward.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/galleries/2945/1/
The second shot with walt in the tux mainly focuses in on his chest then quickly pans into the gunlike at the end of "Full Measure" with the gun pointed slightly down as I recall. You can also see that it's during the day by the sun's glare on his body.
If I could I would surley post a link to the video but I can't find it anywere. If you could find it feel free to link it in the comments, PLEASE! This is no joke, it wasn't much but it was still the first shots to air. Did anybody else here see it? It was magical!
Breaking Bad "Slug Bug" game
It's a variation on the "slug bug" game. Instead of punching someone on the arm when you see a VW Beetle and yelling "slug bug!", you punch them when you see a Pontiac Aztek and yell "Gatorade Me Bitch!!" Any good fan will recognize this as one of Jesse's lines in Season 3's "The Fly." It's a great way to introduce people to the show!!!
Stream video AMC released about br ba don't work
Hey! to all fans of breaking bad. USA is not the only country to love br ba. I'm from France and I follow the show on streaming.
I agree on one thing, this one of the best show ever.
But the video released on amctv.com about br ba can't be watch from where I stand. And I like to watch it also, I look at some other place but didn't find anything, so if AMC could free this restriction it would be great!
I'd like to watch for example the video : Inside Breaking Bad: A Look Ahead
No Season 3 Bluray on Netflix???
I have been waiting all year for the Season 3 Blurays to come out on Netflix, and now that they are finally available, apparently you only provided the DVDs to Netflix! Why force us to watch the show in resolution AMC???
THANKS Br Ba!
I was an extra on 06/03/11 and you all made my day and gave me my first film credit.

It is time for Walt to die.
Having lived on the fringes of the criminal and drug culture between El Paso and Phoenix, I would like to point out that a guy as weak and careless as Walt is not likely to last much longer then a couple years.
One geeky old guy pulling off a million dollar drug sale out in the middle of nowhere all by himself??? THAT IS PREPOSTEROUS! They would have simply killed him! Real drug deals do not work like that at all. In the real world, the money and the drugs are never in the same place at the same time to protect from getting burned, and everybody has plenty of muscle backing up each side of the transaction.
Also, without question, before very long, some punk inside his operation would have set up a home invasion robbery, and probably a kidnapping and killing too.
A big meth player like that simply cannot survive without the help of at least one really creepy and dangerous dawg who will maim and kill perceived enemies.
For these reason, Walt must die to maintain the show's credibility.
Walt is, after all, quite unlikeable. He is a selfish and greedy man whose hands are covered with the blood of Innocents.
And what's the deal with his lamebrain brother-in-law??? Why does he suddenly turn stupid whenever the thought of Walt enters his brain? Big hotshot narc like that cannot add up two and two and two to get six? The discovery of all the missing gear from the chemistry lab was the dead giveaway - a real DEA agent like that would have put Walt on an interogation room hotseat and had two narcs grill Walt for hours. Probably would have even served a search warrant at his house.
The writers have now stretched "suspension of disbelief" to the breaking point.
What's next? Walt reaches into his magical chemistry set and mixes up a batch of human growth hormone and becomes the Hulk?
look at this

How could some1 possibly like Lost more than Breaking Bad, I have no clue haha
I AM PREDICTING THE MIKE CLEANER WILL DIE
REASON FOR THINKING THE CLEANER TO DIE,WELL BRYAN CRANSTON SAID A MAIN CHARACTER WOULD DIE AND OUT OF ALL THE PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH THE ENDING TO THE LAST EPISODE OF SEASON 3 IT WOULD BE MOST LIKELY THE CLEANER,YOU GOT WALT AND JESSIE WE ALL KNOW THERE NOT GOING TO DIE CONSIDERING BRYAN CRANSTON IS THE STAR OF THE SHOW AND AARON PAUL JUST WON THE EMMY FOR THE SHOW,DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY WOULD KILL OFF AN EMMY WINNING ACTOR IN THE SEASON PREMIERE OF THE SHOW,NEXT YOU GOT VIC,GUS,AND GAYLE,WHICH GAYLE MAY DIE BUT HE IS NOT A MAIN CHARACTER, THE SAME WITH VIC,HE NOT A MAIN CHARACTER ETHER,SO ONLY LEAVES WITH GUS AND THE CLEANER AND BRYAN CRANSTON HAS ALL READY TALKED ABOUT HOW GUS AND WALT WILL BE ON WAR THIS SEASON, AND GUS WILL BE THE MAIN VILLAIN OF THE SEASON,SO THAT ONLY LEAVES THE CLEANER AS BEING THE ONE WHO DIES.
REMEMBER PEOPLE THIS IS A SIMPLE PREDICTION SO DON'T GET PISSED AT ME IF YOU THINK I RUINED IT FOR YOU.
Walt killing Jesse?
I was thinking last night, and I had a vision. Walt killing Jesse. That obviously wouldn't happen in the season premiere.. maybe the season finale though. I mean the more ruthless Walt becomes, the more we'll like him even more than we already do. What will it really take for us as fans to really despise Walt? Him killing Jesse.
Vince said the whole point of BrBa is show the transformation from Mr. Chips to Scarface. Well Scarface killed his partner/best friend.
People would hate Walt for that.. and it would be insanely mind blowing the way they'd probably capture it on film. It's also interesting how Vince said in this season, the student becomes the master in their relationship. I smell Walt vs Jesse.
episode about tuco's cousins
This e[pisode was either Phoenix or ABQ but, it shows the mexican brothers getting out of their car. They started belly crawling with other people up to the shack with the altar. Someone please clarify this. Is this a real religion or is it symbolic?
Jesse is Walt's Son (?)
First, let me intro myself since this is my first post, and I thank all of you for your posts and discussion about the best show ever... Br ian from SoCal, just got hooked about 4 months ago (unemployed and got started on the late night viewings. CAPITAL, thanks AMC!). Anywho, I've been hooked like all of you, and after going through numerous posts about past shows, one thing did occur to me - Walt is looking out for Jesse as if he is his Dad (or family).
Point 1 - Why would he hold back the 480,000 from Jesse when he did? Walt had the recipe, he needed no one for "assistance" By that time, he had Gus for dist.
Point 2 - Why would Walt risk his own skin to save Jesse from the drug house when Mike told him "I'll take care of it, why dont you just go home?"
Point 3 - Walt and Gretchen were quite the brianiac/lovers item back in the day. Suppose that Gretchen did not want their love child (because of career concerns) and he was put up for adoption and eventually ended up at - the Pinkman's?
Point 4 - Jesse was in rehab, Walt came to him like a father (figure albeit)
Point 5 - in the bar, drinking with Donald, Walt says "nephew" more than once. But, they both agree - "family", you cant give up on family.
Am i put of my gourd or just on the right track?
Thanks,
BrBa Br ian
They Didn't Produce Any Minisodes For Season 4
This bites, Bryan Cranston confirmed this in an interview.
Here is the link-

Here's the audio of the interview-

Main Character Gets The Axe in Season 4 Premiere!
Let me start off by saying that many of us. including myself. have already known that one of the main characters may find their demise in the season opener. However, I just found it appropriate to make a thread on this topic since we may have some new players coming back to the talk forum as well as some familliar comebacks ( welcome back by the way :) ). So here's a new web link giving you fans a more informitive scoop on this season 4 bomb drop that may or may not be a total game changer.
http://www.movieweb.com/news/exclusive-breaking-bad-season-4-kills-off-a-main-character-in-july-17th-premiere
Who do you think will die?
Bryan Cranston dosn't really give too much of a hint that it's a major key player so the character may not be really important since he didn't seem to hesitate to drop the bomb on the fans.
Many of us have already made some predictions like Victor, who was first to come to my mind. Perhaps Bryan Cranston's tease was simply for Gale. Whether or not how strongly you think Gale lived or died, that will be the biggest question in most fans minds when it premieres.
Maybe it'll be from a total twist of events that leads a character we haven't seen in a while to die like Andrea. The first episode is called "El Topo" and El Topo is about a movie where a man sets off on a quest to find those that killed his lover...the same could fall in line for Walt's wife or Jesse's new girl friend, Andrea. Whatever the case, blood will shed on the show's Season 4 Premiere and it will be totally unpredictable for sure.
Tweet Filled Episode Threads for Season 4
Anyone know if they managed to set seperate threads for post episode Tweets and Talk forum posts by the end of last season?
Perhaps T'm alone in this but 1100+ comments per ep because of all the tweets tossed in there made it far from pleasurable and near impossible to enjoy talk forum post ep threads for me last season. I stopped posting to them right away and eventually didn't even read them. Sad to me since post episode chat with my fellow fans was my favorite part of the talk forum for years to that point.
Seems like it would be easy and reasonable (sure to be even more tweets this season) to have one talk and one tweet thread?
Anyone agree? Disagree?
Thoughts :o)
