Yes, there will be a third season. It probably starts up in March.

seriously march is too long to wait. This is the best show on tv since the sopranos is over. That is saying a lot. Cranston and the cast have been nothing if not immpecible. My wife and I have not talked to a single person that has watched this show that did not become addicted. If they have not seen it they always say they are going to put it in their respective Ques in dvd rentals. Cant wait for the new season.
I don't know what happened to the old-fashioned notion of 22 or more episodes a year. Cable, I guess.
--There is too long a wait between seasons.
--There are too few episodes per season.
--There is too long a wait for the DVDs.
I have this problem with Sons of Anarchy as well.
A New Year resolution is to NOT get involved with any new programming for the above reasons. I'm not willing to be that patient anymore. Sometimes, teasing becomes torture.
Unfortunately, I like this show and have to endure the wait.
