Marie in Season Three
I think Marie is the untapped wild card in this story. She is just as deviant as any character we have seen so far. She is a shoplifter(thief), she is self absorbed, she has contempt for Hank and her "therapist" and she is a self promoter.
I wonder why she steals? Could she have a meth problem we have not heard about yet. Hank was very vague when he admitted that "Marie has a problem and we are seeing a counselor."
Could Marie and her problems be a significant influence in the Season Three story line?
Now that I think about it, what Hank said was "Marie has a problem and we are getting help for that." Even more vague!
I'd been noticing how particularly scary her expression is in the montage of cast member pictures accompanying the "Vote for your favorite Season 2 episode" blog on here. A clue to future plotlines?
Hmmm...interesting! She does have alot of potential to really screw things up for Walt and his family, I have thought of that before. She is very petty and single minded and loves to play 'devils advocate' sometimes too.
Marie is a Psycho Killer masquerading as a shoplifting X-Ray Tech. Did you notice the glee in her eyes as she runs over the Neighbor kids RC Car with her Purple VW Bug?
She seeks the "thrill" in shoplifting. She has money to pay, but paying for an item gives no thrill. Just like each person in the show has a dark side... something they do is "bad". Smoking and drinking while pregnant. Underage drinking / buying beer. Manufacturing Meth. This show is the best on television, I can't wait until march.

I remember Skyler smoking in her car at the Quickie Mart while she was pregnant, but not the drinking. When was that?
I guess the thrill of getting away with stealing is addictive, and is a reason for Marie's shoplifting. So we could say Marie has an addictive personality. It just seems like it would be an easy plot twister to have Marie be a meth addict and then use her Hank connection to catapult herself into the position of a useful user with perks. Like trading info for drugs.(no more need to steal) And then, she would suddenly discover Walt.
Marie is a terminal gossip and if she knows a secret, no one would be safe until she is dead.
