What if Skylar gets arrested?
As a plot line for Season 3, what if Skylar's boss is busted by the IRS and she is accused of stealing the missing money? The IRS would search her house and find Walt's money. They would take it and Walt would be back to square one.
If Walt looses all of his cash. He will be in the same fix Jesse was in when Tuco and then the DEA took all of his cash. Walt will need to go to Jesse for money. But, Saul has all of Jesse's money. When the IRS finds out that all of Walt's medical bills were paid in cash, it will look bad for Skylar. Her boss will see an out for himself and scapegoat Skylar for the book keeping flaws. Walt will have to tell where the money came from or see his wife go to jail.

Skyler would most probably be an accessory to Ted's embezzlement if Skyler doesn't turn Ted in for the embezzlement. I don't think she will be implicated as an embezzler, but only the accountant that should have caught Ted for his crime. The embezzlement occurred before she took the job with Ted's company. So actually Skyler needs to rat on Ted to save herself. If the money Ted embezzled is from Federal Funds, then the FEDS are involved and that is a different matter.

"Contributions" have started pouring into Walt Jrs.' website, presumably courtesy of Saul's Russian hacker connections. Knowing the way Saul operates, nothing would have started until the cash was safely in his hands.
