From what I understood was Vince and his writing staff didn't count on producing a Season #3 and Season #2 was the ending. Making Season 3 will take time for the rewriting and the shooting of Season 3, which does take a great amount of time to produce.

I enjoyed Breaking Bad from the very first episode, and looked forward to every week watching the next episode, their are very few shows that can keep your attention, and even less that allow you to think how you would handle the situation. From the last episode of him next to the pool, and the plane crashing, I have often thought about what is going to happen next. So I am extremely dissapointed that it will take so long to see what happens, however, I can understand why it takes so long; with such a great story, and I would rather have quality verse fastness. It has been so long without hearing anything I got worried that the show was done with, and was such a great ending to season 2, it would have been awful not to see what was going to happen. Well anyway, really enjoy the show, and am looking forward to watching it, got my DVR already set :)

This is pretty common with cable shows. A year or more between seasons. HBO is horrible with this. Some, like FX are better. I love BB and can certainly wait until March.

Lindas555- I don't think you are right on that at all about Vince not expecting a season 3. Season 1 was very well received and season 3 was agreed upon and announced just a few weeks into season 2. Vince had plenty of time to work the storyline and scripts out. It just really takes a year to get it all together. What was the OP expecting? Season 3 a month or two after season 2?

My bigger beef is that they only do like 13 episodes per season for most cable shows. I hate this. The networks used to do 26 or more per season and even they are doing less and less per season. I wish cable shows would do at least 20 new shows a season. This goes for everything from FX to AMC to A&E to HBO to Showtime.

I can't quite remember where I had heard or read about Vince thinking Season #2 was the final Season. Could be from I reading it in one of Vince's interview sessions on this web site. Whatever the case, I am relieved Vince and his writing staff is continuing the series and anxious to see what this series churns out in Season 3. Sounds as though you are another avid Breaking Bad fan yourself, Skottey! :)))

Lindas555-

Yes, I love the show. I was very active on this site during season 2 but wandered off into other things for a few months but just recently checked back looking for new info about the show and season 3.

I am looking forward to season 2 on disc, (crossing my fingers for Blu-ray like Mad Men) but otherwise will settle for the show on DVD again this season. My collection awaits.
