Saturday night on Lifetime a movie about Georia O'Keeffe will air....just thought that was interesting.

Yes, I'm planning to watch it, too. Incidentally, now whenever I see a mention of Georgia O'Keeffe, my mind flashes back to Zia's one-time avi. ;-)

Well Rockmama I watched the Georgia O'Keefe bio. It was pretty good. Could have been longer I thought. Just 2 hours? I mean we all know about her relationship with Stieglitz. That was portrayed okay. Yes it was intense, but it didn't get into anything else. That's where my dissapointment came in. They should have made it into a mini-series! It brought up all of his lover's and made her out to be only for him. There was not enough about her art and her choices. Particularely after Stieglitz died! Didn't mention Juan Hamilton, her potter guy.
The movie made out like Stieglitz was her only guy.
It also portrayed her as woman who stood by her man, no matter what a jerk the man was.
As we all know, she was not that kind of woman. She loved her art first. She really loved her clitoris!
Dang, SHE REALLY LOVED HER CLITORIS! Women all over the world have her to thank for loving our clitorises too! She brought out the female genitalia in the most beautiful ways for the first time. She brought feeling and awareness and pride to women all over the world about how their genetalia looks. Nothing abnormal about it.
