Women characters.
Uh. has anyone else thought that the Ladie's AKA Women in this show have been gettin some pretty bad raps? Everyone LOVE's Walt who's killed a few people,But hate's Skylar. Many love Hank, but tweeks on Marie. And for poor, poor little Jesse, many think that Jane deserved her death cause she was leading him on a herion path in combo with the meth path? Has anyone considered that Jane would have continued on her sobriety path if it warn't for Jesse? The only girl who's considered an innocent and not loathed is Holly.

yes, tweeders, Jane was leading Jessie into a Heroin addiction. Not a real good redeeming quality of a woman to trash a man by teaching him a worse addiction of Heroin than Meth. Jane would have jumped rehab if dad wasn't around to make her attain the rehab.
Marie has narcissistic traits and kleto problems that demands some real good counseling to get her out of denial.
Skyler, dealing with Walt's lies and deception and with motherhood for the second time around, has a plate full of problems she wades through every day. She might appear to be as some believe, "bitchy" only because she is pulling her hair out trying to hold the family in a normal state.
I would have to say that Meth is a whole lot worse than Heroin.
In a recent talk with a youngster from Abq. .. the meth problem in Abq. is quite out of control..it's everywhere.
Now on Skylar... who is to say that she doesn't turn down Ted's advances. Be some crow eaten if that's the case.
Lindas555 - I have to agree with you partially on this one. Marie is a stark raving mad Lunatic w/ Klepto tendencies. Hank is the only person who helps to keep her on the straight and narrow, well tries to at very the least. Skylar, Skylar she's OK, if she strays, thats OK too. Jane, that Bitch is dead, who cares?
Jane...I am still trying to figure her out. She has a very loving father that has stood by her thick and thin, regardless of who knows how many times Jane has gone to rehab and still turns around and jumps back on the addiction band wagon. Do you suppose, R.W. and Zia that the mother abandoned her at an early age and is the root of her problems?
Lindas555 - Its possible, she did have some Issues.
I loved Jane ... she was Jesse's way away fom Walt...
and Walt murdered her
Actually, no he did'nt. He did standby and watch her choke on her own puke, but walt did not murder her. Jane needed to die, so Jesse could keep on living. Jane was completely self absorbed and was a Manipulator (like the Messiah), did you remember how excited she got when Jesse told her about the $480,000.00. that Walt owed him - Sheeit, Jane was all about Jane, come on now.
Ok.. maybe not murder in the first...
but Criminally negligent manslaughter
occurs where there is an omission to act when there is a duty to do so, or a failure to perform a duty owed, which leads to a death.
remember it was "established" in the junkyard when Gonzo cousin was bet to death by Tuco that Walt had at least some medical training there is probaly a requirement for high school teachers to have some CPR training.
Least you forget he already killed 2 other people , although I think self defense was certainly a factor in his first murder.. he could of backed away from Krazy-8 ... that was murder for sure.
Also he handed Jesse a gun and told him to take care of Spooge... which would have fallen under murder for hire had Jesse done it.
Oh and Jane's greed?... take a look at Walt and his greed. Had Jane really just been after the money. She could of given Jesse a hot shot and while he was out of it ..ran off with all the money.
Walt's greed, his desire to have Jesse all to himself
Was his motive....so sorry RW.. it was murder if not just manslaughter. It would of taken him a whole 15 seconds to save her.
Has anyone considered that Jane would have continued on her sobriety path if it warn't for Jesse?
exactly... had Jesse just showed Jane out the night he wanted to get fried on Meth because of Combo's death... perhaps Jane would of stayed sober.
There is a certain amount of accountability on Jesse's part in that.
zia - Alright, I'll meet you halfway on this one (Negligent Manslaughter) works, but Jane is ultimately responsible for her own demise.
Jessie has absolutely no bearing on Jane's addiction. Jane is accountable to herself and if was tempted, it was up to her to make the decision to hop back on the heroin band wagon. Jessie never did Heroin before, if you remember and Jane was the one who taught Jessie how to use H.
btw. zia..doing CPR on Gonzo with a head injury, wouldn't have done much as he need exensive medical care as provided in an ER. Probably Walt does know CPR, but he also knew CPR wouldn't have saved Gonzo at that point in time. Possibly if Walt had administered CPR, Tuco might have shot him in his crazy state of mind after snorting BlueSky too.
Back to Jane. Jane was one step away from hitting the addiction had it not been for her father constantly checking up on her, so her sobriety was short lived even though she made it through 18months. She was looking for a pal to addiction and Jessie came along and bingo, she was back to her habit.

rats..echo again..sorry for the double posting..having difficulty with amc web site today.
LOL..just noticed your "messiah slip" on one of your above postings, R.W...you are funny sometimes!
When looking at the episode where Jane comes in the door with the smack.
I got the impression that Jesse might of sent her out for it... no words were said..
like Jane saying....hey try this, this is a lot better than that Meth shit you're smoking
Jesse had this look like..."you got it?..but now I'm all timid about trying it"
this is all supposition on my part of course ;)
rewatch it and see if you draw the same conclusion
yes Jane is accountable for her crap... but you don't put a diabetic in a candy store.
Jesse was aware of her past problems... he didn't need to make it easy for her to backslide.
It's real easy to get someone back to their bowl of vomit.
doing CPR on Gonzo with a head injury, wouldn't have done much as he need exensive medical care as provided in an ER. Probably Walt does know CPR
oh course... Gonzo's cousin was toast.. But they "established" that Walt had some training at least to be able to tell that....surely enough to clear a airway.
By displaying Walt's knowledge in a earlier episode .. you have to stick with it.
I know a lot of you hate the junky bitch .. but Jesse surely love her.. As one can tell when he got the Apology Girl sketch from under the door
All this reminds me of a scene from "The Razors edge". Its a movie with Bill Muarry set during the roaring twenties and progresses through the first world war. Bill's character ends up in a seedy area of Paris and hooks up with an old Girlfriend (Sophie) who is a Junkie/Hooker. He gets her to go cold turkey and goes straight. They fall in love and are going to get married, until she is tempted to have a drink of Alcohol by a mutual friend who was supposed to marry Bill Murray's character after returning from the war.
I'm almost 55 ..next week in fact ;)
I have been watching this whole drug scene saga most of life. I have lost a number of friends to ...pick a drug.
There is no difference between a Junkie, Crack-head, Meth-head or alky.. they are all the same.. sure one may but a needle in their arm or they may just smoke the crap or drink it.
The end results are the same, although the time span may not be the same.
Hey, I turned fifty last December. Did my share of smoking the Thai Stick in the 70's and some Magic Mushrooms. Never went any further than that and I'm glad for that. At some point a Person has to ask themselves if they like using drugs more than being able to think clearly? I understand that some drugs are Physically addicting, but you have to know this before ever getting that far.
linda and who ever else
when you submit your post ...only do it once
even though it looks like it isn't going ..it is
you can submit and close the browser window almost right away .. it still goes out
I relate RW.
While I had my wild times back in the 70's too.
I just smoke a little weed now and then when it shows up, don't go hunting it down.
I don't even like the chronic crap... it's too strong.
As the kids would say today.. gimme swag ;)
I think everybody on "Breaking Bad," man and woman alike, is a victim of his/her own particular circumstances and weaknesses. Nobody sets out to break bad; they're just living their lives. But over and over again they're tripped up by one little lapse, and before they know it, they're (as Pete Seeger and Bruce Springsteen wrote), "waist deep in the Big Muddy."
The show has lots of examples, but probably the most memorable was Walt looking on as Jane died. You could see him weighing the options in his mind (save her, kill her, stand back and let whatever's going to happen happen) and who knows which he would have chosen if she hadn't died before he got the chance to really decide?
Now that I think about it, maybe the show is leading up to the necessity of people having some kind of moral code that keeps them from making the little mistakes that lead up to the big ones.
Understood, Zia..just had some problems with the website and the posting went through twice. Happens to others on this site too and for some reason, one is not sure the posting does go through and a couple of times it hasn't and lost all that I have written. Very frustrating at times.
Hey..Happy Birthday early Zia and belated birthdays to you R.W. :)))
Never have tried drugs, myself, and stayed clean all these years, but have seen a sh*t load of bodies resulting in years of drug abuse and dealing with their physical and emotional pain. Sad to see a human waste away from overdose too. Those who took years and years of drugs must have had a lot of demons and pain to endure life.
linda,
yeah aloto fotime I'll copy it before sending , so if it does fail.. then I can just paste it back in a nd try again.
the site does bog a lot tho.
I'd do good to look at what I typed ;)
before sending
Holy crap! It's a razor-blade fight in here.
I sense with Jessie that Jane was more of a '1st love" and taken with her for the first time. Even though Jessie might be street smart, Jessie seemed to be a bit naive around women his age. He bought all of Jane's talk without questioning where she was coming from. He was infatuated and easily manipulated by Jane from the first.
Not me, Walkercolt, I never inhaled in the 60's...LOL
RW I remember that movie. I read the book back in school too. It is one of my favorites. A lesson from it is that that "the road to salvation is like a razors edge".
I've been around stoners all of my life, since i was 15 and I'm nearly 50. They all seem to have a "spidey sense" as to who's using, who's holding, who can I hook up with to score. I say Jane and Jesse each eyed each other up and knew what was up, at least subliminally in the first 15 minutes of knowing each other. Stoner chicks tend to take pity on loser guys, so Jane let Jesse rent the appt. And dope dealer guys know how to give the puppy dog eyes to get in on the good side of a soft hearted female. I keep seeing this happen over and over again, they never learn. Jane and Jesse are equally responsible, it was bound to happen.

Linda555 may have hit on something with Jane being Jesse's 1st love. I don't know how "realistic" the show is attempting to be, but junkies (especially those who start young and use strong narcotics) lose interest in sex. I saw an interview on TV with a long-time heroine addict who finally sobered up. He hadn't had sex since he was a teenager and this guy looked to be 55 (he was probably 35). But he was so consumed by the drugs that he hadn't chased a woman in two decades or more. As far as romance goes, strong dope like meth can kill your libido, and meth in particular screws up your brain so even when you finally get off it (assuming you're still alive), you don't feel the same degree of happiness or sadness that you would if you'd never been a junkie. Impotence happens much sooner. You've changed your brain so that it's emotionally impaired. Jesse may still be 14 years old emotionally.
Gracie - Bingo, That is the quote of the day! Ding, Ding, Ding, we have a winner. What does Gracie win Johnny? - Gracie wins an all expense paid vacation to the Magic Kingdom for two. Way to go Gracie...
I don't think anyone in this show aside from possibly Walt Jr has been painted in a good light. All the raps are pretty unsavory one way or another.
Love for Walt, although love may not be the proper word these days, is natural because Walt is the center of this story. As far as Jesse, this is a character, once intend to be a casualty, that has moved front and center because of his bond, chemisty and mojo with that center Walt.
Like peanut butter and jelly that simply belong together they grabbed our attention and imagination. Its not about a slight to other actors/characters, male or female, its just what happens if you get really lucky with a show. You can't force it and you never fight it.
I guess I'm saying its not the fault of or slight of the ladies in anyway. Its just how it goes when one character, or one and a skinny little side kick of the one, burn as brightly as Walt and Jesse do in this story.
On an unrelated side note I'm pleased they have not tried to force the relationships of either man front and center. Even written and acted exceptionally well attention to the love life of a strong leading character can be the kiss of death for even the very best shows. The writers and actors may play it subtle and beautifully but it won't matter one bit if that huge rabid segment of hopeless romantic viewers and media catch wind of a couple and latch on. I've seen it so many times. Suddenly nothing matters and a wonderful story unravels at the seams under pressure to bring the love... bring the couple. A trap to avoid I'm sure Vince is aware of from XFiles I'm thrilled they've dodged that bullet and hope they manage to keep on doing so.
While Skylar and Jane may often seem to get the short end (very short and blunt in Janes case) of the story stick their characters and performances are perfect and absolutely essential in what they give and bring to their, by way of the fellas unexpected and undeniable chemistry, leading men.
Remember things aren't always what they seem. Its very possible Skylar's nagging, wandering eye and such will be the things that move Walt forward forward in the end AND I have no doubt Jane's horrible death will add more to Walt, Jesse and the story than her pyhsical presence ever could have.
I believe even if the ladies seem slighted they are, integral to the story of Breaking Bad, anything but in the end. Sometimes things that seem small are very big indeed.
Only time will tell I guess.
Pamala - I like the way you think, You know when we talk about "raps", we are talking about Stereotypes, so lets cut to the chase. I cant stand Political Correctness, its intellectually dishonest. There is a lot of Truth to Stereotypes, but in today's PC world you are condemned to eternal damnation if you even think about uttering these beliefs. I think the Folks that have created Breaking Bad know this and understand this to be true also.
Most of your posting, Pamela, I agree, until you talk of Skyler nagging and a wandering eye.
Skyler doesn't nag but only to keep her family on the straight and narrow, facing motherhood a second time around and if you have had children, most women will tell you the strain of going through that hellish time until the baby is born. Walt is constantly lying to her, leaves for undisclosed whereabouts and lapses of time without any explanation, carries a second cell phone that Walt denies ever having and then doesn't show up for the birth of his only daughter, Sklyer has some serious beliefs he might be having an affair. When a husband acts in this fashion, it's only natural to conclude something isn't quite right. Walt's erratic behavior appears to distress Skyler in thinking he doesn't care about his family even the time he is home and always running off without letting her know what is going on...of course she is unhappy and begins to look in other directions that someone might care about her, the baby, and Walt Jr. I think Skyler's "wandering eye" and "nagging" are the symptoms of Skyler wanting Walt to tell her what the hell is going on and give her some answers to his eccentric behavior in the past few weeks.
Walkercolt...great analysis on Jessie! For a long time, I couldn't put my finger on what bothered me about Jessie's behavior that appeared to be so immature for his age. You have answered my questions...yes..the meth and any other drug taken for long periods of time do, in fact, lower the libido and that makes sense why Jessie never really did develop as he should for his given age. Bingo,...Thanks Walkercolt!!
I don't see any of it as a positive or negative Linda555. Its human nature and human behaviors fitting the situations. The things Sklyar's doing are based in extreme circumstances and strong emotions. Valid and fitting for me just as Wal becoming, very male, distant and lacking in communications skills because of it all makes sense. All fitting and yet surely sterotypical to many.
These may be sterotypes but that doesnt make them not based in fact at their start. Stereotypes aren't made up things. To me they come from the most common reaction for a gender and that makes those ways and behaviors, however extreme or mild they be, the most likely response.
To me it is real and true human behavior not sexism or sterotyping. For good or bad these characters behave so realistically they could be anyone you pass on the street.
Sure they could break away from it all and play it differently but trying too hard to go a different direction just to avoid the expected *stereotypical* roles and be PC (the expected and unexpected are equally real and valid) is dangerous all on its own.
The more real to life these characters, be it stereotypical or breaking molds, all are the better.
Oh and I've been married nearly 20 years with kids so I understand your point, agree and believe Walt and Skylar are behaving very realistically.
Pamala - Please forgive if I offend with my comment. I was just following up after your post, which I liked. My intent was not to make any point with regards to anything in your Post. I have just had a Bug up my ass lately and this is do to what is happening in our country right now. So Please be assured that your comment did not elect my response and was not directed at you or anyone else on this site. Best regards, R.W.
Jesse and Jane were two of the same.
I like to think Skyler will suprise everyone and turn down Ted's advances if there are even any. Who to say he isn't going to show up with a 25 yo bombshell.
So far it just seems she is uncomfortable around him....she knows he is a cheat...in more ways than one.
Someone should tell her I'm availible here in SF.
But it would really hurt Walt's feeling if her and Ted did hook up...
oh wait Walt doesn't have feelings.
zia - I like Skylar too, she can do better than Ted. Who knows what she'll do. With a new baby, I dont think she'll be tilting towards Ted, for awhile anyway?
LOL...well, said,Pamela. Vince breaks away from the normal human behaviors and shows the extreme side of anyone's true nature. The entire Breaking Bad series so far IS based on the abnormal and darker side of each character and when this series is ended, all the characters on the chess board Vince has paraded before us, will break bad, some turning extremely bad and some slight breaking bad. I mean, who would believe that a mild mannered geeky high school Chemistry teacher would secretly go out into the desert with a high school drop-out chemistry student and make the purest Meth and sell it to a drug cartel?? Very unlikely scenario in real life, right?? Vince is satirically poking fun at the most outrageous behavior he can create to see if we sympathize with that character down the road. Vince will test us all big time to see just how far he can push this character over the edge and if we still feel for him/her, regardless of the past behavior
thanks RW... I feel I am a bit better than Ted...glad you think so too.
that's not what you meant ...is it ;)
Understand, R.W...frustrations of the world events are troubling and I leave it at that.
zia - Not exactly, but what the hell, go for it I say!
Lindas555 - I have been hard on you in the past, I appreciate your comment above. I have changed my Avatar in Honor of the "Head Clown in Charge" residing in the White House right now. This is only Temporary, I will probably get denounced for this as a Heretic, worst case be bounced from this site by AMC, I hope not. Freedom of Speech is still my right, at least for right now.
yeah ... I like the new avatar RW
RW, no hard feelings I was actually agreeing with you there.
I don't find stereotypes and issue or problem. Often its just bits and pieces of people and don't need to be negative.
As I said, I do think, while they can be bad at times, fighting too hard to NOT use them at all or find some *new* way to do it is often far worse.
For the most part I wouldn't change a thing about the way any of these characters are painted. Flawed, human and real even in the occasional cliches they feel like everyday people in a very UNeveryday situation.... I LOVE THAT!
RW, I win a trip to the Magic Kingdom!?! Do I get E tickets!?! VIP line?
BTW your avatar rocks!
Oh my, LYAANATSI, that means Love you ALL AND Not Ashamed To Say IT! Can one text that? A new urban dic.com entry I hope. Anyway, people are most thoughtful here. Razors Edge, Ya know RW, though I do love Bill Murry, a fellow Cubs Fan, I thought he was really miscast in that. I do believe it was Tyrone Power who was in the first movie adaptation with Gene Tierney. Anyway, Bill just didn't act gay enough, nor was he pretty enough like Tyrone to pull off all of the little things in acting on this one as I recall. I know that when Ty did it there were lots more restrictions as to what they could present, but Gene Teirney was pretty darn good. I remember my dad putting it on my booklist as a child to read. I got bored by chapter two. All way too englishy and stiff upper lip like. So much for readin war books that way. Of Human Bondage,I tried but couldn't complete that one either. But to all of you boy chess player's out there, I hear its a good read. Particularely from Gracie. A girl, I'm assuming. Shoot, I thought ZIA was girl, but what did I know. Dang, 51 and still wishing I had sum pot! Still wishing that it would be legalized. Still very, very glad that I am a girl and wasn't included in the lottery for the draft. Though if women want to be in a draft, its their right. No I would not defend anyone's right to the death to go to war. Equal rights interpretations on that are just stupid be they male's, females or in between. Also NASA funding is stupid too. That's not to say that looking up at the stars at night and wondering what's out there isn't a good thing, I'm more of a Carl Sagan follower and thinking that no matter what, our world can't afford it right now. Science needs to be put into our oceans and people's heads. OOPS, I'm progressing PCwise, as opposed to digressing PCwise. And yes Rockmamma, I did see and record the Pete Seeger's 90th birthday concert. As for which is the worse, meth or heroin argument? They're both not the greatest in my experience. The extraction's involved we have all known and its so made real in this show. Meth though is purely chemical and can be made by the funkiest chemicals with just a hint of ephedrien. Heroin, is still made from poppy's and extracted from a plant. Its not made from paint thinner and car parts perse. This is where the question come's from, where do we draw the point?
Can we draw the point or boundries as to who can produce what in a drug world? Obviously not. Time to take away the privalige from the drug company's and the government as to who produces and makes big bucks from them. Plus the major drug companies produce lots of bad drugs with no real regulation. Yes I took Vioxxe and Bextra for my arthritis, and yes I stopped taking them after a few time's cause I thought I was having a heart attack! Sure the pain was gone in my knees, but I knew my heart was going up my throat!!! Now I'm back down to aspirin. I'd been mentally addicted to Aleve. NSAIDS. Interesting things, those pain reilievers. Asprin good, sodium naproxen, bad. Tylenol, okay by itself, but don't have a cocktail or two with it or your liver may be destroyed. Hmm...
I think I may start yet a new topic. I love you guys.
Tweeds.
51 and still wishing I had sum pot! Still wishing that it would be legalized. Still very, very glad that I am a girl and wasn't included in the lottery for the draft
I was the last year of the draft lottery.. had a high number .. went in anyway a couple of years later.
pot?.... Nuevo México
Possession
1 oz or less (first offense) misdemeanor 15 days $50 - $100
less than going 60 in a 45..lol
Tweeds - There you go again, you clearly are Insane. Diksee tried to reason with you and get you to understand how Crazy your rantings are, but you are too far gone. Tweeds - You need some serious help, seek it, its out there...
Zia, You are lovely. Dang. You leave me speechless.

Um, er...I saw my screen name invoked, so will respond that I actually DIDN'T see the Pete Seeger 90th birthday concert. I don't think the PBS affiliate here has broadcast it yet. Did Seeger and/or Springsteen play one of the "Big Muddy" songs? (I think they each have one, but that that the two songs just share that one line).
And, with all the talk about R.W.'s new avi, did anyone notice zia's is new, too? Should we all get new ones?!?! Mine is kind of stupid-looking, but with the first one I tried to use, the top of my head got cut off and looked even worse.
I had the Bush is Satan avatar for a little while.
But had to change it...after eight years I've gotten tired of looking at Bush...actually it's been longer than that ;)
ok...enough soap boxing on politics.
hey couldn't Walt go to a Casio...buy in with a fat stack...piddle around then cash in... have some sort of receipt from the casino to show Sky?
Maybe get Saul to have some zombies do it for him
But, zia, didn't you just change your avi from Heisenberg to Walt?
I like the idea of everybody changing avis and creating new identities. Seems to fit in with the spirit of the show.
That's a joke. (Sort of).
ah. Tweeders...must be taking that OTC drugs again...LOL. You might want to journal your thoughts and i.e. "rantings" into a notebook for your personal memoirs..it helps get out the rambling and is sometimes amusing to look back in past days and weeks and see what you have written. :)))
Everyone else has an avatar but I haven't come up with one that matches my "complex personality"...hahaha.
I like the black hat one from the junkyard ;)
...but I like this shot with walt in the background with the Jess and Tuco silhouette
Me too, Zia..like this avatar you have now. Great colors!

Many love Hank, but tweeks on Marie
I love Marie.
One of my favorite lines is when she was asked if they would move down to El Paso and she said...
"It's 3rd world enough around here"
word
So I said to myself, "Hey rockmama, since you're pushing this 'new avi' idea, shouldn't you get a new one yourself? What are your favorite things?"
(To tune of "My Favorite Things"):
"Springsteen and Petty
Pete Townshend and Lemmy,
Aaron and Bryan
both up for an Emmy.... "
Amen, Zia...I almost forgot that line Marie says.."It's 3rd world enough around here..." A very good line indeed and sooooo true.
Rockmama...you do have talent for lyrics!
Hey Zia..how do you get the image to your screen name after cropping the image you want?? a bit confused as to how to do it..just not a real geeky computer wiz here..LOL

Not bad Rockmamma. For a start.
Zia my multi avatarly split buddy, I love the new Marie! And Ya, what Linda said? How do you do that? Is it in the new pics avatar choices?
RW, RW, RW. You obviously love my commentary since you choose my freind to keep reading and commenting on them. So keep on keepin on. Someday you too may come up with an original thought on something other than my insanity, or perhaps a better one? Perhaps a suggestion as to what psyhcologist, psychiatrist I should go too? Are you into Jung, Freud, both men who had some issue's of their own mind you, not unlike yourself. Perhaps a wee bit of Gestalt? A woman came up with that one. Hmmm.... Yet a new topic of psychotropic drugs to get into. Hot Dang, RW you are the bomb! Keep on posting on my threads darlin. You give me new idea's.
Rockmamma, I'm workin on a contiuation for my favorite things. There's gonna be a Todd Rundgren reference in it some where. Perhaps we can come up with it line by line. Everyone's invited to join in. And Linda your suggestion is not lost on me. As a matter of fact, I did start a my "Ranting" folder sort of awhile back. Very glad that you and others :):):)))) my stuff. XOXOXO

Hey, I bag on Marie a lot only because she is Crazy. I mean she did run over the neighbor kids RC toy, that was pretty mean spirited. Outside of that I really like her sweet innocent side and she does have a hot little bod.
now you snag the picture... I get them from the amc photos..
that's the crtl alt printscreen part

might need to save to jpg..
Perhaps a wee bit of Gestalt? A woman came up with that one. Hmmm....
is that why ...
The jo is greater than the sum of the parts
my bad ;)
Tweeds - I'd stuff your ass in a wood chipper, but I'm pretty sure there is'nt one big enough. Then somebody would have to look after your 150 Cat friends that you live with in your log cabin or is it a mobile trailer?
Zia, jo? I don't know what jo means exactly. Please explain. The sum of all parts I get, and glad I still have most of them, ass included. There's a knee out there somewhere though. Gotta love titanium.
Tweeds
I guess I mean ho' not jo
been in NM too long ;)
titanium is really neat stuff
Zia & R.W.
To your posts, somewhere waaayy above...did you get to meet Sasquatch & "wide the stwabewwey wivah?" with him, like in the movie "Tenacious D & the Pick of Destiny"?? ;)
*Sigh* Whatever happened to Quaaludes? =(
Tweeds, there are occasions, that you post some very insightful things...and, during those times, I find you extremely endearing. I truly mean that. =)
HOWEVER...to your taunts & long-winded, meandering rants:
I must say,
"ASTOUNDING!"
Guess what ya'll?!?
I just got out of Charm School...
And, learned to replace the word,
"Bull-shit!"
with
"ASTOUNDING!"
diksee - Congrats, did I ever tell you that I like your attitude.
R.W.: Indeed, my friend...indeed you have! =)
just got out of Charm School...
And, learned to replace the word,
"Bull-shit!"
with
"ASTOUNDING!"
I need to do that
LMAO Zia! You're a guy...you can get away with it!
Being a "lady", I MUST be more proper!
*pinkie out!*
Now, if you gentlemen would excuse me...I've got to get back to work...
Ummmmm....
Geez...
There was a snappy lil' line, I would like to add to that...but, would sure hate to be kicked off this website, for it! ;)

Try it ;)
EGADS!!! .. a three-ring circus in this thread.....Hmmmm, "Wood chipper"...reminds me of "Fargo"....LOL
This thread is becoming a "Cohen brother" thread...
james... where the hell are you
Linduh, You better watch your P's & Q's or you might go into that wood chipper too, and I'd bet you'd actually fit.
zia - nice avatar bro! Is that local Indian art or just a mummified death mask of Jerry Garcia?
I think I got it off a site that was about spanish market here in SF
Hi Rockmama...great avatar you recently selected!
Thanks, Linda555. I was relieved that it fit and looks so good!
wus up linda ..still no avatar?
Linda555, I've figured out how to get your picture on this blog. First I went to the internet and found the image I wanted (a fine one of Jesus Malverde), click the right button and Save a copy. Your computer should put it in My Pictures. If your computer is like mine, the only software it has for images is Paint, so it'll be saved as a .bmp file. Okay, it's saved but in the wrong file because this site only accepts .jpg. Go back to the internet and search "convert bmp to jpg for free". Go to that site, click the right buttons and convert the bmp to jpg. Save the image somewhere you can find it. Then come to this blog. At the top is "Edit Profile", click on that. It'll ask for a picture with a big gray Browse button. Click the Browse button and go find your jpg image. Click on that and the path to the image will be in the box. Now click Save. Then the screen will change and you can either review your Profile or go blog. The picture doesn't kick into your blog entries until you've done at least one entry with the updated Profile.
Let me know how it goes. - Walkercolt
Jesus Malverde? Was he the Patron Saint of drug dealers/Narco Traficantes?
yeah... linda something like that ;)
A Malverde bust is featured in AMC's Breaking Bad television series episode entitled "Negro Y Azul".
working on it Zia...and should have something done in the next day or so..
just post your password... we will take care of it for you ;)
Zia thinks I have "stupid and naive" across my forehead to give out my password...LOL LOL
Zia:
"Try it." ?!?
*blushes!*
Yikes...I can't! (I might like it! LOL)
Speaking of liking it...
Linda, there ya go!
You've had 2!!!
Count 'em!!
TWO offers of being taken care of here!!
In TWO different posts, mind you!

BTW, Zia:
James might have a hidden agenda going....LOL LOL LOL!
TWEEDS!!!
Come back!
Just talk TO us...
NOT AT us!
Hugs!
Diksee
About my above post, about wanting Tweeds to come back...
Scratch that!
After having just read a previous post, of hers, where she was trying to push, yet ANOTHER fan of Breaking Bads', buttons & get attention, by her negative behaviour...
There is something to be said...and...
I will apologize, in advance, to Vince, Clayton & all the truly dedicated fans of Breaking Bad for what is about to be typed...
I can NO longer stand how "TWEEDERS1" acts, when she's trying to provoke others!
Yes, there is such a thing as "Freedom of Speech"...
BUT, there are times, that people need to exercise discretion!
Just because, we, as Americans, HAVE that right...
DOES'NT mean that spouting of BULLSHIT needs to be said!!!
My son is a MARINE & I'm DAMN PROUD of it!!!
But, to think, he would/could & be willing to die, to protect the right, of some:
LAME-ASS BITCH, SITTING HER LAZY ASS, AT HER COMPUTER, TO SPOUT NONSENSICAL BULLSHIT, AT FELLOW AMERICANS...
JUST DOES'NT SEEM RIGHT!!!
To my friends here...I bid you a fond farwell, should this get me kicked off this website...at this point, it does'nt matter.
It's all about what's right & what's wrong, plus standing up for my beliefs.
Thanks to ya'll, for hearing me out.
Hugs,
Diksee
diksee - No to worry, they would have kicked my ass off this site a couple days ago for lambasting Hollywood's beloved Messiah, you know. "The One", "The Anointed one", "The one we have been waiting for", "The one and only", "The Teleprompter Jesus". Christ how many other names does that guy have, I have a few more, but you get the idea. You are Courageous for making a stand, your son would be proud! I was in the Air Force myself, in my second life I will be a Marine though. My late Uncle was a US Marine and one of the best Men to of ever walked the face of this planet.
Full moon, that's for sure...yikes...are you guys on a caffeine high, drinking red bull or what?? Guess we need a "ignore button" for Tweeds when she drinks that java too much. Ah...diksee, we would certainly miss you and your postings, so hang in there and just remind yourself it's the rantings of tweeds and she evidently has a few crosses to bare in her life yet.
Thats hilarious of the "Teleprompter Jesus", "The Anointed One"..etc....LOL LOL LOL...you are funny R.W. The sad part is that you might have something there, R.W.....BUT let's not go down that road on politics, other wise we will put you and tweeds in a padded cell together!
diksee, keep posting. I too though proud of our military have questions as to where they are being sent too and why they are being sent there. I am proud that finally we have a president who's asking all of those questions also. Do I consider him a messiah? No. But he's a working guy who's got one hell of a lot on his plate right now. Something that has not been lost on many of my friends who've been in the military is he's trying to push through a new GI BILL. One that is similare to the one that held through out the 50's, 60's,70's and early 80's. The one that said if you serve for a term you will get your tuition to a school of higher education totally funded by the government without having to stay in the military. As I recall the GI bill really got downsized during the Reagan years.
Also our president wants to expand the Peace Corp with the same rights and educational advantage's that are presented to those who join the military. What is wrong with that?
Wouldn't it be better if we could provide workers and educators to country's without guns? Learn what their needs are? Also giving college credits while doing so, weapon free? Or perhaps arm them with animal nail clippers of all sorts. A few toolbelts with screwdrivers, drills, nails, auls, hammers, scissors, or a really good Leatherman everything tool, mini saw inlcluded? Works on and with everything.
wow ..you'll are realing feeling the breaking bad addiction
Yes Zia, I am. Who isnt? Breaking Bad brings out people who are of thought. People who are folks. People who equal themselves. I do know what to say, Just stop being so mean with your own selfs. Crosses to bear. I have none. But i do have many things to sing.
Tweeds
Skylar outed herself. She is manipulative and is solely out for her own good. She has been dealt a bad hand, handicapped son, lying husband, bad finances etc but when she pulled out the talk cushion and then tried to alter peoples opinion she showed her true self. She ended up getting what she wanted but exposed her true inner character. At least Jane was openly manipulative. Marie would have been a role model but her kleptomania drags her down. Holly just hasn't had time enough to do any damage. We need some good role models for women in this series like we have for the men.
Wow...my head spun COMPLETELY off, in my last post!!! You should've seen it! It blew into a million pieces!!!
;)
Thanks for your support R.W., Linda & even Tweeds...it's truly appreciated!
Zia: We're jonesing severely...nerves are frazzled...
Must...have...at least...reruns!!! *Gasp! cough-cough!*
(Yikes! Look at the time! =( Gotta go nitey-nite, ya'll. )
Must...have...at least...reruns!!! *Gasp! cough-cough
is this the part where I'm not suppose to say
bit torrent?
diksee - On your head blowing up into a million pieces, that's why Crazy Glue was developed. That one was for Billy Mays, may he rest in Peace.
Marvin Martian is sort of like Walter White
Marvin the Martian gets his time-projector gun and sets it to revert Bugs Bunny forward into time so that he can use him as a life-long slave.
Like Walt did to Jesse ;)
when Marvin the Martian zaps Bugs Bunny with his time-projector gun he reverts him into a
Neanderthal Rabbit,
who immediately grabs Marvin the Martian and crushes him with just one hand, ending the cartoon.
Jesse kills Walt ....
Repugnant, after reading your posting above, I began to think more of what you said. I have some points to differ with your analysis of Marie and other female characters you talk about.
Marie, a role model?? Hardly. Marie has some serious mental health issues that need extensive counseling for her UTTER COMPLETE DENIAL of klepto problems and her contempt for others who don't fully agree with her reasoning. Marie has a problem with "entitlement", meaning she believes the world evolves solely around her...it's called narcissistic tendencies. Poor Hank has to deal with this mental health mess by trying to get her into some counseling and evidently Marie tries to skip her appointments so she won't have to admit she has some real serious problems with her delusional thinking.
Skyler, yes, she has control issues beyond the norm, but again, she has a plate of problems that she alone, is dealing with and a new baby to tend to. Not exactly a calm atmosphere to raise a newborn and a palsy young adult while her husband runs out the door to whereabouts unknown for hours at time without any explanation, carries a second cell phone that he never explains to Skyler. So I would have the same discontentment as Skyler dealing with such a mess of unresolved issues as she has.
Jane, plain and simple is an addict and not convincing enough for me that she would ever kick her habit and making her father live in a living hell trying keeping her clean. I would imagine he will always have the belief that he failed in trying to reach Jane to a better life, when most of us know, it was Jane who created her own mess and didn't WANT to stop the addiction. Jane was NOT openly manipulative, for she had her own agenda. I will not speak for others, but I had hoped Jane would be a good partner for Jessie and tried to help him rid of the meth addiction since for a while, we were lead to believe Jane had kicked her habit with a sobriety of 18 months. When she saw that money, we saw a HIDDEN Jane come out of the closet and revealed what she had in mind. Jane sized Jessie up at the first time they met, and I think then she began to scheme her way into Jessie's life little by little, along with getting Jessie hooked on Heroin for a Heroin pal.
Women characters, in this series, are stretched out of the ordinary like a Dali surrealist painting.....exaggerated personality traits, strained at the problems they try to resolve, struggling with maintaining a stable lifestyle while the male counterparts run haywire with their macho individualism. Possibly Vince is trying to pull out inordinately bits and pieces of each character from their average lifestyle and exaggerating them to the extreme and watch how the viewer reacts to the characters putting their lives back together. Let's see the "Humpty-Dumpty" eggs fall and can they put themselves back together again? That is the real question for Season 3, putting the pieces back together and hope they all fit again
Does that mean I have to change my avatar now?
No no...R.W.. I really like this avatar..its out of this world! :))))
Tweeds...I speak for myself and what the others on this posting are saying are their beliefs, but just hoping you understand your rantings detract from some of the real good viewpoints you bring out. You really have some good ideas of Breaking Bad...just stay with the question and less of the personal jargon. And..yes, we ALL have crosses to bare in our lifetime. I would love to hear your thoughts that only concern Breaking Bad. Thanks, Tweeds..:)))))
no rw...marvin is awesome
Jane sized Jessie up at the first time they met, and I think then she began to scheme her way into Jessie's life little by little, along with getting Jessie hooked on Heroin for a Heroin pal
we been watching the same show?.. and you're saying tweeds rants?...lol
I know you like Jane, Zia..so we differ on beliefs of her. Most addicts need to find another addiction in some way shape or form to fill the void of a past addiction. I firmly believe Jane was bidding time before she would relapse and get back to her Heroin at some point. Don't misconstrue that I didn't like Jane, it's just I had hoped she would be good for Jessie and her addiction problems would only be a reminder of what she couldn't fall back to.....but she did, on her own, and Jessie didn't force her addiction either.
btw, Zia, your avatar is quite unique...great colors!!
wow..I just noticed, tweeds..you really got a lot out of this question, didn't you?? :))))
btw, Zia, your avatar is quite unique...great colors!!
thanks... what does it look like?
A Georgia O'Keefe painting. Ding, Ding, Ding. We have a winner. What does R.W. win Johnny? R.W. wins a brand new Husqvarna Wood Chipper.
I am in agreement with R.W......inside of a Georgia O'keefe flower. I love those colors anyway.
Quote by Zia: " is this the part where I'm not suppose to say bit torrent?"
=\
*tick tick tick tick...DING!"
=D
Ahhh-hah!! I just caught, what you were throwing around!
;)
Actually, it was REALLY a hint for AMC to give us our fix of Season 1 & 2...
(*Subliminal Message* My secret agenda was, for you to send me that 1st Season DVD, that you won...
Awwww, just kidding!)
Heyyyy...WOW! Linda sure did a great job of dodging, answering your question about what your avatar looked like...
How crafty! I must learn her technique...so subtle...and, quite elegant!
Linda...Did you attend the same Charm School I did?!? ;)
Apparently so, from reading your post to Tweeds!
However, it must not have been the Online Version, I took.
You expressed far more class, than I did. ;)
Dear, dearest Tweeds...you are ALMOST the Jackson Pollock version of the Forum World...
(Ummmmm...Minus the genius, he had...)
R.W.!
Did you think I'd forgotten about you?!?
No, I had'nt! =)
I thought glue was invented, for broken hearts...Oh, wait! You SAID "Crazy Glue"!!!
Yes...Crazy Glue does work quite well on putting a mentally-fragmented mind, back together.
Either applied directly...
Or, huffed from a brown paper bag.
LOL! Had ya'll going, did'nt I?
Actually, the only thing I ever inhaled, was the Nitrous Oxide, from a can of whipped cream. (Just don't shake 'em up, before. )
Oops. That's a blue lie. I did inhale other things...but, that was in my college days. Hah!
OMG! Am I "ranting?!?"
*Gasp!* I AM! =(
Once again, I must ask:
It does'nt make my ass look too big, does it?!?
Oops! It was R.W. that correctly answered Zia's question, first!
Does that mean, I get to go for the first ride, in your brand new Husqvarna Wood Chipper? ;)
diksee - No that privilege is reserved for "Certifiable nutjobs that like to rant endlessly about nothing". Sorry, but you do not Qualify for this one, anyway your a Friend.:-)
Damn...a ride through a Wood-chipper, sounded kinda intriguing, at this point in my life...
Anyway, it does perk me up, that you consider me a friend!!! =)
Samesies for me!
Plus, the fact that one of Tweeds' cats, mentioned a plot against her, to my kitten...
I don't quite yet speak fluent Felinese...but, it did include something about, Fava beans & a nice bottle of Chianti...
No, that Wood Chipper is no Hayride. Fava Beans and a nice Bottle of Chianti, sounds vaguely sinister to me. Tweeds, Gutten Appetit!!!!!
diksee, you compare my rantings to a Jackson Pollack painting? Thanks for the compliment, I think. Oye, I've alway's wondered why Jackson got so big with his paint porings and splashings! Butt hey, who am I to question! Dude's painting's are sellin for millions of bux! Art is art. I just appreciate that you are back buddy.
Tweeds

A Georgia O'Keefe painting
now you said that because it looks like something else...lol
R.W. I think there was also a mention, of a fabulous fur-ball remedy...but, it was kinda garbled, at that point...maybe it was more about, the laxative qualities of the owners' foot fungus.
I dunno. =\
Zia: Is that the companion painting to "Le RĂªve" by Picasso??? ;)
There is a slight, "Insert Tab A, into slot B" quality to the two...
No, Tweeds...sorry, hun. No compliment intended.
Jesse heroin habit ..due to the nasty skank Jane.
So how much Heroin did they do together?
I think a long term heroin addiction is being read into the damages that Jane did ... the only time reference was 6 weeks when Sky told Walt to hit the road
So was Jesse at "serenity" all that time..i forgot
but didn't walt drop him off before the doctor meeting
Vaguely, I remember Jane and Jessie shot up two to three times with H. but I could be off on how much they did use.
Jessie, being introduced to trying a new "high" of H by Jane, would probably switch to H rather than go back to Meth, is my guess.
meth is every bit as addicting as smack...maybe more so
Well I'm addicted to tomatoe's!! The fruit that just keeps giving. Its summertime, been hot and humid with just a touch of rain to give the farmer's a break from irrigating their farms. The Basil is fantastic comming through right now. Oye, the cheese!! Talk about addictive drugs. Its going to be a wonderful harvest here in Wisconsin.
A little bit of salt, mixed with a hint of garlic powder, and a four pepper grinder! Bliss!!!
Tweeds!
