Walt's new car

We have seen that Walter's car is smashed after the airplane collide. What kind of new car will he buy? Will he also buy Walt Jr. a new car? Walt Jr. is already learning to drive and needs a car. What kind of car will Walt Jr get?

Walt might buy Jr. a bad-ass looking, 4X4, of some sort...that way, he can "borrow" it to go off-roading to go check on his remote cooking locations.
Either that...
Or, because of feeling guilty, he might buy Walt Jr. one of the new Muscle Cars. (Which might raise, more than a few eyebrows, with people wondering where he came up with THAT kind of money.)

A vehicle, for himself?? That's a toughie! Depends on who's "in control" that day...Walt...or, Heisenberg. =)

diksee - I like your idea there, the 4X4 used to "Explore" the natural beauty of the hinterlands. I think Walt is a very practical man and also very frugal. I think he might get for himself a 4X4 also. It would need to fill two requirements. (1) reliability and (2) it would need blend in with the urban setting of Abq, so he will not draw any undue attention to himself. I think he might go for one of those compact Subaru's w/four wheel drive. He would also get pretty good gas mileage too. Then again, maybe Walt says screw it and goes out and gets a Hummer H3?

I want to wade in here. I think Walt will get Walt Jr. a Toyota Prius. A very practical and safe car. It will be equipped with a hands only operation. No pedals, just hand operated. For himself, he will buy a Chevy Volt or some other high performance hybrid/electric car. Finally, for Skyler, to lure her back, a hybrid Cadillac Escalade. He will explain away the cost as an insurance settlement/cash for clunkers low interest finance deal.

user-pic

Careful, bullieboi, R.W. is allergic to hearing anything about the Toyota Prius....LOL LOL

user-pic

R.W. if Walt gets a Hummer, then his gas mileage would go through the roof, but then he could make a second Hummer meth lab on wheels!! LOL

user-pic

Linda - "Astounding". That's some pretty creative thinking I must admit. Q. Are you are Meds like Tweeds too? Now dont get mad, its just a question...

user-pic

The Hummer second Meth lab idea was a joke since Hummers tend to be a very obvious vehicle anywhere.

user-pic

looks like all he needs is a windshield

he need to ditch the mobile meth lab and build his workstation somewhere.

Walt's Crystal Palace.

There is plenty of nowhere here

Walter will have to downsize and buy a used Yugo. Skylar will borrow the car but it will be blown off of an overpass by high winds. The car will be fixed but Skylar will be disfugured and her face will become round. Luckily Holly will not be in the car. Walter Jr. will take over the car. He and Louis will bondo it and oversize the wheels. It could become the coolest ride in ABQ.

I figure he will take up the Cash for Clunkers offer, trade in that blasted hunk of metal for a pickup truck, the offical vehicle on NM.

Pimp my Yugo... :-)

user-pic

Yeah, Cash 4 Clunkers will work. Walt will not have to worry about the Obama goon squad coming after him as this program is completely dysfunctional, just like Team Obama... :-)

user-pic

Sorry everybody, I just could not help myself. :-)

RW- no apologies necessary, this is still a free country and we can say what we feel.

user-pic

Yeah...and don't bring up any politics or Global warming either, otherwise, diksee will get upset if other people leave the talk forum.

user-pic

Btw, R.W., I noticed you have a new avatar! What is the significance of this new avatar?

user-pic

Drudge Report - Dateline: AUG 20th 2009 - Albuquerque (KRQE.com) "Dealers stiffed as Clunkers pile up". Where has all the Money gone???

*Sigh*

We need to get Linda555 signed up for the "No Child Left Behind" program...
For, she turns other peoples' words around, to suit her own controlling desires to rule this website!
While she has learned to read, she's not able to process the written word well enough, to comprehend & function properly in the REAL world.

Awwww...how sad!

Plus, my sympathies extend to your husband...he has to live & deal with you...EVERYDAY!!!
Day in....day out...the poor, trodden-upon fellow!

You are truly a she-wolf, in sheeps' clothing..."button-pusher" you try to be! Oh, fall from your porcelain throne...Evil One!!!

Hereby, ye shall be known forthwith, as:

Linduh666!!!

Are we having fun yet??? ;) I am!

user-pic

diksee - Please remind me, did I ever tell you that I like your attitude? I need reminding from time to time.

user-pic

R.W....on several occasions!!!

But...there's times, I feel that I've not expressed enough to YOU...my appreciation, of YOUR attitude, partner!!
=) Thank you...once again!!
*bows respectfully*

We have now lobbed that ball, back into Linduh666/Tweeders0 court...it might be an uneven match, as they are both one & the same. ;)

Shhhhhhh!!!

A hush falls over the Breaking Bad Forums, as the crowd anticipates (or not! ha ha!) their parlay back, into our side...

user-pic

bullieboi: You're prolly right, about Walt buying Jr. a Pruis!

Or, maybe he'll buy him, one of the Nissan Cubes...or as my son calls it..."The Minivan for Cool Kids". Ha ha! (They have a great safety rating/gas mileage, too.)

Quote by repugnant: "and her face will become round"...

Ahhhh...a warped sense of humour! For some reason, that made me keep chuckling about it, for quite a while! =)

Zia: Thanks for the cool pix, of that car!! Pretty sharp...wonder how long it took, to fix it up that way?

user-pic

Did I hear that correctly, there's a doubles match going on in this Forum? I love Sporting events! :-)

user-pic

R.W.: Ha ha...yes, it's about as entertaining as the game of "Pong"...*sigh*
There's not much "sport" in it...when the opponents are tooooo slow. =\
