Skylars Head

If Skylar leaves Walter for good, do you think her head would be put on the back of a turtle or would it even fit?

diksee-It is kind of weird. I started off liking Skylar but she did some things that showed her inner self. Maybe a little hard on her but the producers are putting these acts in like the talk pillow,Ted, joint sex with her computer and Walt. I think they are turning on her . Do you? Great show and interesting bloggers though like yourself.

I started out, liking her also...but, have a hard time, feeling sorry for her, at the times she probably needed the sympathy the most.
Maybe it's the fact, that she's too controlling?
I dunno. =\
There's JUST something about her character, that makes me uneasy...
Maybe they ARE turning on her & someone will steal a Galapagos Tortoise, from the zoo...that oughta be big enough...LOL

BTW...thank you! You've posted some really interesting things, yourself...and, you're FUNNY!!! =)

diksee- lol lol Galapagos Tortoise. That was great. You have taken it to a new level Your right too, it is her controlling that is sketchy. I think we are all getting a little edgy based on some of the weird posts. We need some new episodes. Do you think Carmen and Ken Wins will be factors, whoever came up with those scenarios, very good work, in my opinion.

Naw, not unless it was someone else who did, i.e. Gus Fringus(?) people or some other drug cartel in the area. Walt would never harm Skylar unless he was completely bad or nuts by that time.

On the other hand, I can see Walt, the chemist, exacting some revenge on the poor unfortunate who becomes involved with Skylar in an affair, i.e. Ted Beneke. Walt would turn to his little chemistry set to whip up some poison or gas or bomb to do the guy in. Yes, I can envision Walt going after another man messing around with his wife - easily.

I agree about skyler, i liked her in the beginning too but she just got more and more controlling. Walt would be better of without her if she doesnt give up the attitude that the earth revolves around her.

Yes,BBNB I agree I think that Walter would be better off without her. She might become withdrawn and go into a shell. Possibly a turtle shell.

But if she takes over Ted, Jam 54's scenario could play out with some chemistry lessons for Ted.

ROTFLMAO, repugnant!!! =D
You're hilarious!

Jamm does have a great theory! She's always been good about coming up, with some interesting ideas!
=)

Maybe after Teds' demise...Skyler, will have to go back to her waitressing job, where she meets this truck driver...
Who tricks her into thinking, he's a "Good Ol' Boy", be the "Family Man" she needs & he'll take "care" of her....

Oh, but he takes care of her, alright. =(

Takes her down to Mexico & sells her. Of course, Walt goes to rescue her! (But, this would get her out of the picture for a while, without her being killed off.)

Déjà vu, anybody? (Hmmmm...has'nt this been posted before?? LOL LOL LOL)

Diksee- as you know im kinda new to the site so I missed the dejavu part. Your truck driver/Skylar scenario is intiguing. Who would buy her? Possibly Tucos cousins. Could they then move back to New Mexico and set up residence at Tio's house. Would she insist that they tell her the truth and would she try to change the countertops and insist on a better TV ? I just dont know. You are right it would get her out of the way for a while.

LMAO, repugnant! You got that right!! She would run them ragged, if she could!

It could turn out to be, like the story "The Ransom of Red Chief", by Mark Twain/Samuel Clemens! ;)

Ha ha ha!

Probably the reason Skyler became (or tried to) more controlling over the second season was because she was losing control over Walt.

Think about it. In the course of their marriage and how we saw Walt behave in their relationship in Season 1, Skyler was the more dominant partner, and had had that power for years because Walt ceded it to her. It didn't look like he challenged Skyler very often in any situation.

So, what suddenly seems an overnight change (for Skyler) in Season 2 is her inability to control or dominant Walt or get a straight answer from him. In desperation, what does a controller do? Tries even harder to control when they're losing power. So, yes, she did become more unpleasant in her challenges and demands toward him.

It was kind of a surprise to see her throw in the towel at the end of the season and walk away. It's going to be very interesting to see how this struggle between Skyler and Walt is going to evolve, and what strategies their going to use on each other to get what they want.

Sorry about some of my grammatical mistakes - didn't proof very well.

jamm- I dont think that Skyler threw in the towel, she just kicked in Plan B. She just washed her towel, put some perfume on it and is taking it over to Teds house.

Good one, repugnant! LOL
