Stimulus is nothing more than a hand out to Parasites. People who want something for nothing, money (Taxes) taken from from others and then "redistributed". This is just fine with Tweeds, since she has been eating that free Government supplied Cheese for years...

Oh lordy, for senior citizens? I can see myself learning to bag groceries at 55 because that'll be about the only work I can get.

Recently on the news they did a little investigative reporting about all these government-sponsored programs for getting seed money to start your own business or go back to school. I guess there are alot of these businesses that are offering to help you tap into these programs are crooked. So.....

Jamm54 - Come on now, you have to get with the program. I'm sure the Government needs some more Senior Community Organizers. There must be some Government sponsored classes on Urban (Socialist) studies or Ethnic cultural awareness courses that you might find appealing? What about a class on how to Break Bad the Marxist way?

How about the understanding of Wealth Redistribution 101?

Then of course you could always fall back on American History revisited (Revisionist style) or Modern Progressive American History deconstructed and retold through the eye's of a Community Organizer. :-)

Then again its summertime, why not just sit back under a shade tree and sip a nice cold lemonade, sounds good to me...

R.W. I couldn't agree with you more about sitting underneath a shade tree, I have a very good one with lots of leaves of the maple kind. Its pretty huge and very lovely. No I've not been eating the goverment cheese lately. Its been 40 years since I've eaten that velveeta. As for my life, I've done pretty well overall. Have I saved up any money, no. Do I have things, yes. Can I sell them all for a profit, probably. Do I want to? Some yes and some no. Don't you realize that even though you are fortunate enough being a middle ager who has saved your money, that others of us who never had any money to begin with lost whatever we had, have no where to go? I'm the tailend of the Baby Boomers. When I got into the banking industry 8 years ago. People were pretty nice. 2 years later all of the mergers happened. Chase merged with Bank One, the stock market tanked! Lots of bank branches shut down. Lots of people called in asking where their money went! I couldn't tell them. I couldn't tell them where their branches went.
All of these people just like you wondering where to go, what to do way back then. They had worked for all of their live's saving, saving, and saving some more. Then discovering that the 401K's had nothing in them. I mean nuthin!!!!
So that you have money I spose is a good thing for you. You are a lucky son of a gun. You can do what you want to do. My question is, why?
Why don't you have more freinds who are like me? Exactly what are you getting out of making me the bad guy? The person that you have your trigger on the finger for? All liberals? You want to take me down? Listening to NPR and Nat King Cole.
