In my case, Tweeds, after having a baby...I was too blasted tired to do a whole lot of anything but try to tend to the new baby, the company coming over to see the new family and get sleep whenever you can! Post parteum depression is a serious complication of pregnancy for some new mothers, but I never experienced it. My main concern was gettuing some sleep after night feedings and barely had time to eat junk food or smoke pot. Not having taken any drugs other than aspirin , I wouldn't jeopardize my health, the new baby for drugs. If nursing the baby, smoking pot is NOT recommended. That is from my point of view as a new mother many years ago and am sure other mothers might have a different scenario.

Linda, glad to hear your point of view! Relax darlin. I posted this new thread just to hear from you. I know that smoking anything during pregnancy is wrong. So do many of my friends who have kids and are still good mom's with kids whose age's are in their 20's. I don't know how skinny you are, but didn't you notice that Skylar seemed to get skinnier as she got more preggers? She was skinny to begin with. Now she's had Holly, she should be able to relax and will. She did afterall smoke cigs.

As a mother of ten, three of whom are still living I feel that smoking alot of anything helped me keep my weight down.Skylar I think kept her weight down because she wants to look good for Ted for upcoming events.

Most women these days do smoke cigarettes to keep their weight down but the problem with that theory is that down the road, the smoking will catch up with them health wise either by lung cancer, breast cancer or emphysema and walking around with an oxygen tank to breathe.

I remember the scene when Walt was livid about Skyler smoking 3 cigarettes and telling her how it harms the baby...yet he makes Meth which is more harmful to the system.

If you spend enough time thinking about it, it's easy to figure out that she wasn't really pregnant to begin with. Another clue: her boobs aren't that big, even at the end of her pregnancy. My chest grew exponentially by the week, so that by the end, I had a little plateau where all the food that didn't make it to my mouth would land. I went to every one of my pre-natal classes with stains on my shirt and was mightily embarrassed. However, it's been quite a few years, so I should be getting over it any minute now. They tried to keep most of the focus on Skyler's belly and it worked, for the most part. But don't think too hard!

By contrast, they spent a whole lot of effort making Marie not look pregnant and the actress playing her really was!

Tiny, teeny, and skinny. Also I can't eat a lunch or dinner without wearing it on my shirt. Don't matter how skinny, fat, or lady like I've been. Girlfreinds there is a new fashion of table linnens out there.
Its not called a bib, but table linnens that are seperate from the table cloth, not put on the table but on the back of the chair. Its WAY BIGGER than napkin, its the equivalent of an apron/bib. One of course can't call it that, but now its its called proper table attire. In other words, even the very rich in our world want to protect their clothes from every drip of food that hits their mouths and falls down to their chests, laps, what haveyou.
