If I can't have Skyler, then I want Carmen!
Walt has got to crash up against a strong female character to advance the story. My first choice is Skyler. I think Anna Gunn could hit a home run in Season 3, but if it isn't to be, then bring on Carmen. She's got an ass like an onion... makes me want to cry! (- Hank) There's lots of potential in Carmen prompting Skyler if Walt becomes involved. Now that another woman wants Walt and depending on Skyler's developments with Ted, she may change her mind and fight for her husband out raw jealousy and feminine pride. Ooooooh, cat-fight! Scratch her eyes out! Kick her in the ... well, you know where. Walt's got the big bucks now. He could be a "player".

That ass makes me want to cry too. In fact I'm starting to well up right now and I have'nt even finished my first cup of coffee this morning.
With all this talk about women's butts, I feel it is my duty to demand equal time for the butts of the male "Breaking Bad" stars. Awhile back Tweeds mentioned that she feels Bryan Cranston's is too flat. I assume she was talking about the scene at the check-out counter of the store where he took off his clothes to feign craziness. I think I was so surprised that he was naked that I didn't study his butt enough to pass judgment. But that's what reruns are for. :-)
And then there's Aaron Paul's butt, which, to the best of my recollection, we haven't seen yet....but would like to.
I'm still waiting for someone to tell me if the DVD has... well...anything we didn't see on TV.
cat fight?..geesh, Walkercolt, lets not go down the Jerry Springer show mode with people acting like they have the brain of a dead flashlight battery!
I can't help it, Linda. I'm in deep withdrawal and craving drama. I'm sick of all the cutsy cuddly crap on Animal Planet or the "Global Warming will kill us all" sh!t on Discovery Channel, History Channel, National Geographic, CNN, MSNBC, HLN, SyFy, Nickelodeon, the Cartoon Network, Disney, Home Shopping Network, aaaaahhhhhhhhh! How long before Season 3?!?!?!?!
Okay, Linda. I'm a little calmer now. So I'm ready to try to elevate this by modifying my string. This is what I'm feeling.
I feel like the women have been waiting in the wings long enough and it was needed to introduce Walt and hammer out his difficult relationship with Jesse. I want to know more about Walt and Skyler's relationship because it's being threatened and I need to know the nuances of how they view each other and their preconceptions about the opposite sex. Example: Walt obviously has had big trouble with his mother if neither he nor Skyler wish to even talk to the woman.
Okay, I like Carmen (which is the actress' real name also). She's obviously a career woman, single, respects Walt, a fine looking Latina, and she's breathless around him so there's some kind of attraction. I'm not saying Walt is a dog sniffing around, but if Skyler doesn't want him and doesn't even want to listen to his confession, that means Walt is up for grabs. Carmen was married but has been divorced for many years and she's lonely too.
Now I had a very wicked thought about IF Walt and Carmen hooked up. Skyler is still trying to reel in Ted. Walt tells Carmen things he wouldn't tell Skyler because he feels Carmen is more understanding. Remember when Walt was kidnapped by Tuco and locked in the sweltering trunk of Jesse's car? (Season 2 episode 2) His fondest dream was Skyler telling him that she understood. So, Walt gets to know Carmen and he loosens up and lets her know him better. She draws him out of his shell better than Skyler. We get to learn more about both Walt, Skyler and Carmen. While this is going on, Gus is seeking more BlueSky while trying to prove or disprove that Walt is a DEA plant, and to add more conflict, Tuco's cousins are hunting for Jesse and Walt from the little information they could get out of Tio. On a relaxing Sunday evening, Walt casually examines an old family picture hanging on the wall of Carmen's home and almost recognizes a thirty-something man standing next to a young girl, but he just can't seem to place where he's seen the guy. Carmen comes up and admits to being the young girl. She points out the other members of her large extended family. And finally points to the Latino man next to her in the photo. It's Tio before he was sent to jail. Her maiden name was Salamacus.
She's from the side of the family that went legit.
Not bad, Walkercolt..not bad at all..there are some good possbilities for this scenario! I just don't see Walt falling for Carmen for some reason.
Walkercolt - I'm in agreement, I'm tired of all this Global Warming bullshit too. The Polar Bears are dying, Oh Please. We have to shrink our Carbon footprint or the Earth will die! Its dying and being regenerated all the time, has been for millions of years. I guess we should all just go pack it in and go live in our man caves. On that note, I'm going to go have a Beck's now. Cheers!
I will not try to persuade either one of you of the problems with Global Warming since both your minds are so dead set against any concern for the Polar bears who are literally starving to death and eating each other up for the lack of food. How tragic is this..well, it makes me very upset that there is LESS COMPASSION IN THE WORLD ANYMORE FOR ANY INNOCENT ANIMAL AND THAT MOST PEOPLE JUST DON'T PLAIN CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT THEIR IMMEDIATE SELVES. How pathetic is that? No compassion for those animals that aren't even harming you, damnit. So, yes, global warming is a problem and your grandchildren will reap the problems that we didn't even care to prevent..even in a small way. There I have said my peace on the real issues people should be concerned of, because believe it or not, it does affect you. No, I didn't vote for Gore, no I didn't vote for Bush, and no I didn't vote for Obama, if you want to bring up politics.
Linda, if you love the polar bears so much, go up to the high north and feed them. It's easy. Just stand there. They'll find you and then they won't be hungry any longer.
Okay, Linda, don't go up to the Arctic. I've been there. It's not good for you. Sorry about the sarcasm.
Let me explain in detail. The epoch which we are living in is the Ice Ages. Three million years ago South America collided with North America and cut off the flow of warm, equatorial water from the west coast of Africa to the Pacific Ocean. The former tropical oceanic pattern allowed the Earth a much more uniform gradient of warm water flow that even inhibited glacial formation in the Arctic and Antarctic. You see, the oceans are the Great Engine of our Earth, not the silliness of human beings. If you've ever been to sea, you'd know just how much more vast and powerful the oceans are in comparison to anything on land. But back to our epoch. Ice core samples have been taken in Greenland and Antarctica. They show a horrible pattern of ice ages lasting an average 110,000 years with dips in global temperature of up to -19 degrees F. This is much worse than the +1.8 degrees of warming we've accumulated during the Industrial Revolution. In between these killing ice ages, there are brief periods of a few thousand years of what we'd think of as normal climate and then the murderous glaciation returns for another 110,000 years. This is why human beings were trapped in a narrow strip of Africa from Ghana to Kenya until something, yet unexplained, happened around 43,000 years ago. The Earth warmed and stayed warm. Human beings broke out of Africa and spread all over the planet. What caused this extended warming period is undiscovered but the ice is always threatening to come back. Our last ice age was a mild one about 13,000 years ago. It covered northern Europe, buried St. Louis under a mile of ice and there was snow in Alabama in July. The period is called the Little Dryad and the first settlers in North America disappeared, the Clovis People. In recent history, we suffered a very mild lowering of temperatures beginning in 1307 and ending in 1818. This dip in global temperature is also unexplained, but it changed so much of Western Civilization. England used to have vineyards and wine that competed with Continental Europe. They were wiped out. The cold bitter rains killed off the top-heavy wheat and barley which was the mainstay of Europe's diet and brought starvation which weakened the populous and added to the misery of the three outbreaks of Black Death in the 14th Century. Go to the internet and search on "The year without a summer" and you'll see that the mini-ice age also affected America. It's a good read and it'll give you a peek into how destructive a loss of warming can be.
If you examine natural forces, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, etc., you'll find that the power in those is many magnitudes of order stronger than all our weaponry and industry combined. Mankind is capable of creating local disasters but not global ones. So, act locally and think LOCALLY. We simply don't have the raw power needed to change the Earth. Example: The Sun radiates an average of 40 quadrillion (40,000,000,000,000,000) BTUs of energy to the Earth each minute. The United States who is the number two producer of carbon emissions (China is number one) only uses 2/10,000 of a quadrillion BTUs each minute. And most of the Sun's energy is absorbed and used by the oceans. That's why ocean patterns are the key to our climate.
I'll remind you of two facts about the prophet of Global Warming, Mr. Al Gore.
1. He only took a single college course in Earth Science where his professor infused this mania in him.
2. Al Gore's degree was in Journalism.
He is not a scientist of anything but propaganda. You shouldn't believe in false prophets nor extraordinary popular delusions nor the madness of crowds. Free yourself from the witch hunting morons of the media. They know nothing except how to read a teleprompter.
"So, act Locally and think LOCALLY. The only thing I would add to this is "Think Logically, not Loco 'ly" Keep emotion out of all Practical matters and Important endeavors, especially when it comes to electing a President of our Country, I mean look at what has happened. After all We're all in this together! The good ship Obama. Currently our little life boat is battling rough Sea's and taking on lots and lots of water, more water than we can possibly bail out. The worst problem is we do not have enough Buckets to bail that water out, and our little lifeboat is in danger of capsizing & sinking. Where is "Tio" when you need him to tap out an SOS. Maybe we can appeal to Bono or Sting to help save our Souls. "Message in a Bottle"...
diksee - Where are you? Its a free for all, Feel free to jump in at any time. I miss my little Weasel friend, come back. ;-)
I am well aware, of Al Gore and remember R.W. I DIDNT VOTE FOR OBAMA.
Whether Al Gore has a PH. D in earth science or not, he is trying to get across most of the world is our blatant abuse of world resources and neglect of where people live. All I get from Al Gore, is that he tries to get people to act responsibly and be aware of the world changes. Period. Since most people on this earth have the IQ of a carrot, it's difficult to get that simple notion across to their pea-size brains.
Evidently, you do watch intelligent shows to educate yourself,Walkercolt and R.W. is concerned of the difficult, confusing times of the newly elected president and his policies that don't exactly match his teleprompter prepared speeches a few months ago, but my concern is for these poor animals in jeopardy and most people could care less, unless it hit them in the face with a 2x4. So I will climb off my soapbox and hope others will develop more compassion for other creatures in dire need.
Well, Linda, you surprise me. Are you and Vince Gilligan related? Nevermind. Before my eyes went bad I used to hunt. Back in the late 1960's the environment was a mess for ducks and geese. We were limited to one duck and no geese per year. That's when the hunters went into action both in the United States and Canada. We bought up wetlands and converted them to migration sanctuaries for the birds. Every year with every dollar and with every hunting organization from Ducks Unlimited to the NRA, we strained to increase the population of waterfowl to preserve the birds and our sport. By 1998, there was serious consideration of lifting all limits because we'd brought them so far up in numbers. No media came around to pat us on the back. We were those mean old men who killed Bambi's mommy, remember? Nevermind that that piece of cartoon propaganda was fiction or did anyone really think that Thumper speaks English? If you want to preserve an animal species, then you need a human advocate who is willing to spend their own money on it even if they're exploitating them. Otherwise, we'll just bulldoze away their habitat for an endless number of strip-malls and MacMansions.
The deer hunters made the same effort as the duck hunters in my State and now we have 15 times the deer than were estimated to have been here before Europeans settled. You see, animal lovers, environmentalists and hunters all want the wildlife to thrive, but we're all too proud to join forces because of there's no room in our conflicting political ideology. And please don't rely on the media for any accurate information. They are truly stupid and misleading.
Happy blogging. - WalkerColt
I don't think there are too many hunters where the Polar bears are....they aren't being hunted but are starving to death because of global warming and their habitat is eroding to almost nil. Thats not the same as you hunting deer, rabbits, squirrels. What I do have a problem is man trying to reshape nature by eliminating the animal species to their advantage.... poachers killing animals for their heads, horns, fur..etc..... Now I can see if you don't have a grocery store around and you are hungry and starving, fine, you need the meat for food, but other than that...it's plain and simple. You have the gun and shoot an animal that isn't even armed. Sometimes, animals are smarter than we are, because the only time a animal is going to kill you, as a man, is when they are only HUNGRY AND NEED SOMETHING TO EAT. Animals don't kill to put your head a damn wall for show.
Enough of this and I don't wish to use this talk forum for my personal beliefs. Back to Breaking Bad issues and possible theories of what Season 3 will bring. I too, am curious as to how Vince will portray Skyler now in the next season.
Ducks Unlimited
James .. where are you?
Well Walkercolt, I'm glad to see that your not an extreme right winger and want to teach the world about how global warming works in the millions of year's as opposed to the thousands of years. Your Epoch's theory disturbs me. Exactly from what study are you taking your information from? How many years old is it? Have you read yet a new report in the latest Rolling Stone? And yes I gave the mag away to Drew at work. What the hell are you saying? Could it be that the world with mamals dissapearing is the natural order of life and we should all accept that. Its an inevitable destination for mamals. Big butted that I am, are you saying that we as a speices should just accept it because there's no way to stop it or make it slower?
So we should just get over ourselve's and accept the inevitable? Stop trying to do better with our world?
Tweeds
Lindas555- I think that the reason you dont see a reason for Walter falling for Carmen,is that you are really relating to Skylar(even if subconscios) and dont want it to happen until Skylar has her plan B in operation.

LOL...I've been lurking in the shadows...a skulker of the dark, lately. ;)
Seriously though...I've been having to deal with some extremely tough things, these last few weeks.
I appreciate the fact that you've missed me...Thanks!
tweeders1, this is my last entry on this blog. I joined this group to talk about a high quality show. I've had some good moments but instead I got pulled into a dumb@$$ed discussion on a political mania which I don't like to discuss because I can't do anything to fix it. Hell, nobody even understands what I'm saying and I thought I spoke English. I'm more green than the rich and famous self-righteous uber-liberals in Hollywood, New York City or Washington, DC. Throughout my long life, it's been my car that got the best gas mileage on the road. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars to make my home more energy efficient. I've supported wildlife conservation with generous donations of money, effort and time. Just because I won't take the word of a phony, ultra-rich freak (yeah, that's Al Gore and all the other jerks who want to rob you via Cap-and-Trade taxation) about yet another disaster delusion doesn't make me wrong and it sure as hell doesn't make the rest of you right. Global Warming is happening but we aren't the cause. And I'm not here to give out guarantees to anyone. You, me and anybody else can get hit by a bus tomorrow. Stop asking the people who passed math to believe without questioning in another godless religion like man-made Global Warming.
Instead of demanding proof from me, why don't you ask Al Gore how he got hundreds of thousands of shares of Google before their IPO and netted almost half a billion dollars. They put Martha Steward in jail for a mere 40 grand. Where's the feds when a big wig with a queer Noble Prize cashes his checks for insider trading?
I'm sick of this and I'm gone!
Tweeds - Here's something for you to graze on you F-ing Liberal Psycho - Bitch. "The problem with Socialism, is that you eventually run out of other Peoples Money" Quote: Margret Thatcher - Former Lady Prime Minister of Great Britain. - I'm gone to PISS OFF...
Egads...Tweeds has done it again! Dammit!!!
=(
Pushed yet another, sane & interesting person, to the point of frustration!!
WalkerColt...COME BACK!!!
Don't let her "Red Button Pushing" (aka PMS/Menopausal Rantings) drive you away!!!
As far as both Tweeds' & Lindas' rants, in this post:
"Cows of Bashan" mean anything? =\
So much feigned "concern" & wasted energy directed to things that may, or may NOT be happening!
All this BIG & IMPORTANT TALK, acting worried about "Global Warming" & its effects on Nature!!! (It's just a mere "Smoke-Screen" to get our attention diverted elsewhere, anyway...)
You women want to REALLY accomplish something...OTHER than just typing, what you think makes YOU sound good?!?
There are children, in your very towns, that are in true need...within REACH of YOU being able to DO SOMETHING about!
FEED THEM!!!
(And, give THEM the things, YOU would like to eat...NOT just the 10 year old cans of crap, that's been sitting in your pantry, either!
That always pisses me off, about Food Donations at either Church, or work....you go to drop your donations off...and, see that other people give shit, THEY would'nt eat themselves...)
Argh! Now I'M ranting, yet again!
Dammit!!! >=(
This makes ME a freaking hypocrite...'cuz I'm doing the SAME thing, they're doing!

Ahhh....R.W....it took me TOO long, in posting my rant, to see what you had already posted...
Great minds, run in the same direction, eh? ;)
diksee - My little Weasel friend, you're back! Thank God, I thought you might have left me for good. Yes, "Birds of a feather flock together". I know that's an old saying and probably looked upon by new "Progressive" society as outdated, but it works for me and still rings true! - I too will miss Walkercolt, he was a Good Man and Highly Intelligent Man, but now we need to circle the wagons and Press on.
Sad to see Walkercolt pack up and leave over a few discussions of Global Warming. Sorry, because Walkercolt had some pretty good arguments concerning Breaking Bad. In any blog, on any subject, there will be discussions of the political arena, global warming and other highly controversial issues. But to just up and quit over a little frustration, and possibly hurt feelings, is a shame. A bit of a tough world out there in blog land, and some blogs result in volatile writings. I don't believe this talk forum reached that extreme level.....just a difference of opinions at times. I hope Walkercolt returns, being a loyal fan of Breaking Bad, and brings back his great theories for Breaking Bad.
Linda...OMG! Give WalkerColt more credit than that!
He left due to wanting some INTELLIGENT conversation, about this show...
Not the condesending tones & pretense of concern, that you & Tweeds babbled on & on about, just to make YOURSELVES "look good".
Like I've asked before...
Talk TO us...not AT us! =(
WalkerColt: Even though I've not always had the time, to respond, to your threads/posts...I have ALWAYS enjoyed reading them! =)

Ha ha! I'm a tenacious little bitch, are'nt I? ;)
Now, let's go shake our tail-feathers!
Yes, I too, desire more intelligent conversation on these threads and most of the time it's hard to find with all the babbling and the babbling isn't necessarily just Tweeds either, my dear. I don't babble. For the most part, Walkercolt and I talked about many theories and could understand each other's postings as in the past, and others have discussed the politics too.
Never talked at you and I don't talk to you, but only to join in the conversation and give my point of view, thats all.

Pffffft! =\
You forget, there are no edit/delete buttons here, hun. All one has to do, is go back through & read, how you twist & turn other peoples' posts/words around, trying to make them sound like idiots.
Your self-righteous attitude & megalomaniacal posts, tend to run on the boorish side...
Personally, I prefer that you continue, to not talk to/at me.
So, for that...I thank you.
Geesh, diksee, take a valium and chill out.
Wow Linduh666!!! Great comeback...*sigh* Not really...
On second thought, it was kinda lame. =\
You gave up too easily...
Was it because, you can "dish it out, but can't take it"??
Or...I'm not a male, to be "defied"??
Perhaps...you realized, you're not the "Pack Leader" material, you THOUGHT you were???
I know...it's just because you're pissed, that I'm more cute & cuddly. Hah.
Weasels are cute and cuddly. They also have better attitudes. Now on those Cows of Bashan, send them to the Slaughterhouse or Wood chipper, whichever is more expedient.
Nope, diksee, you are one of many people who post on this talk forum, nothing more, nothing less, just another person to discuss the issues of this series, Breaking Bad.
Linda-one thing that you cannot dispute when criticism is thrown at you is that you are two faced.
constructive criticism is one thing I will accept, repugnant. Actually I am known for being loyal and kind to others, but then since you have NO idea what I am like and talking on a talk forum assuming something you know nothing about me, is pretty lame and assuming. There will be differences of opinions on this forum and of course, not everyone agrees with each others viewpoint. Some theories you have had in the past have been pretty good while others I don't tend to agree with, but thats the point of this forum. Even when I don't agree with your ideas, sometimes later, I think about what has been said and then can see what you are talking about. I believe the talk forum is a way of learning to appreciate others theories and ideas concerning this series. Sorry you believe I am two-faced, because thats not anything like me in person, according to my friends and family. But, again, that is your belief and you are entitled to it.
"Yawn."..the wood chipper topic again. Hey R.W. think up some new hair raising questions to the forum and get us all fired up again about this series, with the exclusion of the "messiah" jabs! LOL
Linda - Sorry you do not appreciate my jabs at the Messiah, but the fact is he is a complete and utter Poser, a wannabe. He is turning my country into a complete Banana Republic. All of his initiatives and programs so far have turned out to be a complete Clusterfuck. Why is this you ask, well look at the Man closely, he was only in the US Senate 150 days, that's just long enough to settle into his government paid office and rearrange the furniture. Before that he was a "Community Organizer", whatever the hell that is, radical street agitator is more like it. Sorry Linda, I take no Prisoners...
Linda, Linda, Linda-WOW you missed my point. I was referring to the symbol next to your comments. You seem like a nice person and really enjoy the show thats good.
Linduh666!!!
CCCCHT! NO!!!
DOWN!!
BAD GIRL, BAD!!!
We all LIKE repugnant here...
Don't you TRY to make TROUBLE with repugnant now!!!

OooOOO.K. Linduh666! Oh, you've been good about doling it out, to others here...NOT so great, about accepting it, though...=\
"Actually I am known for being loyal and kind to others,"
HERE?!!? Since when? The main thing we've heard here, from you, is constant taunts & unwarranted criticism...you even offended Zia, who is one of the most patient of persons!
"but then since you have NO idea what I am like and talking on a talk forum assuming something you know nothing about me, is pretty lame and assuming."
Puleeeeze, Linduh666! YOU are in such self denial...that YOU don't even REALLY know, WHO you are! =(
And...that is very sad...
diksee, aren't you a little extreme? Geesh, take a valium and chill out, sounds as though you might need it with your rantings...get off the personal attacks and get back to discussing ideas about Breaking Bad...after all thats what this forum is all about. I don't know anything about you and you certainly don't know anything about me.
Blogging has emotional levels and viewpoints are not always the same, so if I disagree with anyone, its NOT on a personal level, but only to discuss the subject matter on hand.
My "Extreme" is due to: Being constantly offended by,
the disparaging tones, of your replies, to others here.
You are such a bully! (It makes me want to bully you back.)
Your posts, most often, go far beyond the typical debate/argument...
and, more into total humiliation, of whomever you are posting to...rather than, just providing a simple discussion.
I will "wave the white flag" & call a truce, when you stop bullying others, yourself...otherwise, I will continue to defend the good people here, when you belittle them.
BTW: For someone, who says they don't take drugs...you sure want to push them, on us here. =\
You to to your church and I will go to mine, diksee..stick to the forum. So you don't care for my postings, so what? Get over it and move on...I am still going to post regardless of your belief system. Amen.
"The West Coast Turn-around"
Thank you for the offer, to attend your church...but, I don't make a habit of, meeting people off the internet. ;)
You have misunderstood, the reason for these replies...
You've had some extremely interesting threads/posts, that I've really enjoyed reading.
However...there are times, I've felt you've degraded our fellow posters...so, I'm merely standing up, for them.
Nothing more...nothing less.
