Deb - Skylar may figure things out but she is out of her element in the meth world. Things are a little easier for her to scheme her way into Teds world and money. You could be right though once she sees the money in the walls she could break bad.

To be honest, I cannot see this happening at all. I can, however, picture Skylar playing with the idea of getting involved, first by protecting Walt from her brother-in-law as he inches closer and closer to finding out the truth about Walt's drug activities. This could lead her to open her mind as to why Walt would go down this path. Finally, once she sees what she can do for her family (especially with the new baby) with the money, she may want in.

WALT WOULD NEVER LET HER COME INTO HIS WORLD! This would be the one thing that humanizes Walt. We've seen in season 2 that for Walt there is no going back to his timid, normal, boring self. However, Skylar wanting to get involved is the one thing that would make Walt walk away from it all, something he's not strong enough to do by himself.

Skyler might break bad with a small affair with Ted, but I agree with Clover904,....." Walt would never let her come into his world"...... Walt likes this freedom from Skyler and Skyler entering into a sleezy meth making world, so far in the series, her character just doesn't seem right. At this point, Skyler is preoccupied with tending a new baby adn keeping track of Walt Jr. She has children to raise.

So repugnant..what I am trying to figure out is what would make Skyler really go over the extreme, forget her raising children, and go the dark side of her nature and become involved in drugs because Walt is going to keep her away from his Meth making business for the fear of being found out and turned over to Hank. I can't seem to come up with anything so drastic yet to have a housewife trash her life for a sleezy world of drugs. Vince has hinted several times of the involvement of Ted and Skyler beyond a business sense, though.

Linda-According to a recent JAMA article(Journal of theAmerican Medical Association) over 250,000 women with children in this country alone have become addicted to Class 4 narcotics and other illegal drugs in the US alone. So please dont say that it cant happen to the beloved Skyler. Walter loves her too much to bring her into the organization. Your right though, she is preoccupied, but its about saving Skylar. Walter and Walter Jr.are becoming secondary to her well being. She will try to be a good mother to Holly but it looks like Ted and/or Ken Wins will start her spiralling downward.

I was hoping Skyler would develop into a “Gangster Moll”, but that ship has sailed. The only one in Walt’s life at risk is Walt Jr. When Walt finds Blue Sky in Walt Jr.’s book bag, he will realize what evil he has done. Cancer or not, he should never have used his power to cook meth. Nobody can win when the game is money for life.

Skyler is a total cunt. From her "talking pillow" to her grand stand of telling Walt to get out of the house, she is a pathetic looser. Everyone in Walt's life is a freak. And, that was OK until Walt got cancer. Now he has seen another side of life and these crippled malcontents he surrounded himself with just don't do the trick anymore. Walt has emerged as a killer and a ruthless business man. Tears and boo hoos don't fly anymore. Skyler is out of the picture. Why would Walt want her anymore. She is boring. The race is on to see how long Walt can live and who gets to be in his world.!!!!

Skyler is so used to controlling Walt. Walt was a wuss in the beginning, but loved his family so much that he wanted to make a change. The selling of meth was just his means being that he is a chemist. Women tend to try to change men to fit their image and needs, usually before a relationship gets strong. If Walt was a drug dealer before they were together, she would have changed him into a wuss and then not wanted him anymore. Since he was a wuss before and, thinking that he was going to die and wanting to leave them with money, changed himself into a tougher, more "street aware" person. I think that Skyler will rethink her position. Ted is headed for downfall and she knows he is a criminal, Walt is the father of her children and he is changing and becoming a stronger man. If she really sits and talks with him and he doesnt have to lie to her anymore i think their relationship will grow stronger. And by the way to clarify the so called "moll" play of words. Someone didnt do their homework on this. Gumade is the italian slang for girlfriend, on the lines of gumba. Girlfriends are not called "molls" in the gangster life, heh. They are called gumade, pronounced "goo-mah". When i heard Saul say that i LMAO and thought how rookyish of a mistake that was. I dont see Walt as a killer or really as a drug dealer, just a guy who was faced with some tough decisions and he did what he had to do, or what he was able to do, to take control of his life. Sometimes people do bad things out of necessity and not because they want to, but it takes a fast car to live a dual life, and Walt aint no Ferrari yet.

Wow..repugnant..those stats are down right scary and very hard for me to even imagine a mother would jeopardize her children for an "all-consuming" habit that destroys families and relationships. Thanks for the info...and haven't kept up on the medical world like I used to know it 15 years ago. Times have really changed.

You believe Skyler will break bad in Season 3, repugnant? If that happens, will Walt come to her rescue? And..if Walt does break up a possible affair with Skyler and Ted, will he forgive her and also come clean on his lies to her?

I think you might be correct in believing Skyler will break bad in Season 3, but it will only be with Ted and a brief affair, but I still can't imagine why Skyler would hook up with drugs. I think she is smarter than that to begin a habit that might take away her children and end up like Spooge's wife....(a crude comparsion, but possibly Spooge's wife might have been a good mother in the begining too......wait a minute... retract that.)

Spooge and his wife..that is another story..I wonder how they got on drugs. We really don't know enough about these two characters, but have only seen the end results of their drug habits.
