Bears, planes, Heisenberg and ATMS

My take on the finale. The plane isdefinitely symbolic and I think that has been talked about. It represents the collision, death, injury of the main characters and the peole their lives touch.
Did you notice the shot from the bottom of the pool that had both the bear and Walt in it? Walt has an uncharacteristic pink sweater that was very close to the color of the bear. That was Vince and the writers tellin you the bear symbolized Walt.
What has happened to the bear? It was ejected from the plane, and Walt has been ejected from his marriage. The bear is also burned - Walt has been damaged by the events.
What does the bear remind you of? As a childs toy I see it as innocence, or times of innocence, possibly decency.
Now, how about the bear eye floating in the pool and going down the drain? Could it represent lost sight? What has Walt lost sight of? That his family is the most important thing to him. His morality?
So Walt has been ejected from his family, lost sight of his innocence and his sense of moral deceny, and is damaged.
That is it for now.

Well written, Labrynth and great analysis of the plane crash. The Talk Forum has hashed this scene so many times, but you have put it in a different sense and I can see much of what you are saying.

Labrynth, Shoot and darn it. We are discussing finale's already? We've yet to see season 4. I am hoping that this show will continue for at least 6 seasons. Anyway, I did discuss with Sara, a woman who I meet while waiting on the bus and didn't know until today that she even watched this show. Her take on it is that Walt is the cancer to all around him.

Pink Teddy Bear, Walt's Pink sweater. Does that mean Walter is turning into a F-ing Flamer next season? Jeesh, where is this show going?

Linda, thanks for the compliment. I've been reading your posts for a few days and like them. I think along with telling a good tale the writers are artists.
Tweeders - that is an interesting way of looking at it. I'll have to think about that. And I meant Season Finale. :)
RW, beats me. I think Gus and some Mexican drug gangs are in the offing though.

Tweeds, I don't believe Labrynth meant the plane crash as a finale for Breaking Bad series. I get the sense that for now, this is what is happened and is reflecting on that particular scene.

Your friend on the bus has claimed,...."Walt being a cancer all around him...." is valid point to consider. Walt could be the cancer that metastasizes everyone around him...like a infectious cancer cell eating up all around it and damaging other areas...or in Walt's case, damaging other's lives around him. Good point, your friend has considered.

In quantum physics, the Heisenberg uncertainty principle states that certain pairs of physical properties, like position and momentum, cannot both be known to arbitrary precision. That is, the more precisely one property is known, the less precisely the other can be known. It is impossible to measure simultaneously both position and velocity of a microscopic particle with any degree of accuracy or certainty.
------------------------------
So how do we use this?

The closer they get to arresting Walt the more they will be lead in a different direction? The more they know about Blue Sky the less they will know about Heisenberg? The closer Hank gets to Walt the less he will know about Heisenberg?

Not being the brightest around quantum physics or for that matter, even Chemistry, I had no idea quantum phsyics had a "Heisenberg". Very interesting to note and it never ceases to amaze me, education never stops. We always learn something new nearly every day from sources we never thought about. So I have learned about parts of quantum physics, namely, "the Heisenberg". Thank you Labrynth for a new learning experience!

Nice posting, Labrynth! Specifically, Heisenberg was looking at the behavior of electrons and realized that you could measure the vector (which direction it was going) but couldn't measure it's energy (how fast it was traveling), or vice-versa. So no matter how much you tried there is always a factor of uncertainty. Therefore, the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.
