I think James26 is about right. For these 12-13 episode series on AMC (Breaking Bad, MadMen), it seems to run about a year until the new season begins.

They're skimpy on the reruns - not exactly sure why. Maybe it's due to the lack of advertising dollars (they can't get the sponsors for the season reruns). But, if you look all over the tv schedule, a lot of good shows were cancelled this year, and I think it was more due to lack of retail advertising sponsorship ROI than viewership. Retailers are taking a beating in the economy. Has anybody noticed how old the food is in the grocery stores?

YES...I have noticed the expiration dates are a bit old. Funny I didn't think of it until you mentioned it jamm54.

Agree with you , budget must be tight and one of the reasons why AMC isn't running them. I wish I had taped them, so I could replay them, but I was lazy and assumed AMC would have reruns...Never assume!

Ha ha.. I had to tape every episode. I am glad I did, because I am a Breaking Bad junkie and have watched each episode about 3 times so far. I wish I could be on the set one day when they are making an episode.

well, someone was alert and not sleeping..good for you silent...you have the advantage of watching the reruns again while the rest of us are going through withdrawals!!! LOL

Speaking of minisodes, Zia, have you seen the "Break In" minisode with Badger and Walt trying to get back his cansiter vaccum cleaner that Skyler put in a garage sale without Walt knowing?? It is soooo funny. Click on the Breaking Bad Main Site and click on videos...it should bring the minisodes up...I love Bryan Cranston's humor!

Scuttlebutt is that perhaps there will be rebroadcasts after the new season of Mad Men begins in August. Last year, Mad Men was on at 9 pm on Sundays and then there would be an episode (rerun) of Breaking Bad at 10. It seems likely, anyway, They'll want to refresh everyone's memory at Emmy time.

I forget...DrK..when is the Emmy's?

Late-ish September, as I remember.

I am sure many will be glued to the TV to see if Breaking Bad brings home Emmys!

Appears AMC changes their minisodes from a few days ago. Go to Breaking Bad Main Site, click on that, click on Videos, then click on Original Minisodes and it will bring up "Break In". The others are great too.
