Walter the Pink Man
In the season finale Walter continued to grow into his fatherly role toward Jesse. I suspect season 3 will begin with Walt continuing to redeem himself through this behavior. The symbols are everywhere. The pink sweater (Walt has become a Pink Man, as in Jesse Pinkman), Walt's new goatee that is just like the one worn by Jane's compassionate father, and the damaged Pink teddy bear (representing Jesse Pinkman) falling into Walter's life from a massive wreck. The stuffed bear is remarkably similar to the one in the mural in Jane's apartment, shown flying through space with Jane, presumably flying high on heroin. Jesse was nothing but Jane's teddy bear, a source of comfort for her, but not an object of true love, and she sent his vulnerable psyche (damaged as a result of Walt's selfish behavior) into a free fall. The bear ends up in an evidence bag, presumably as part of the crash investigation.
Will Jesse and Walt begin living together?
Will Jesse's presence in Walt's life become the final piece of evidence (as symbolized by the bear entering the bag) that Hank needs to discover Heisenberg's identity?
Does Hank already have strong suspicions?
Will he end up covering up for Walt at work, will he need to be killed, will he arrest Walt?
Walt has no drugs left, the RV seems safely hidden, and the money is being laundered, so would Hank even have a case against him even if it is strikingly clear to him that Walt is Heisenberg? If so, it seems like it would be weak enough for Saul to mount an effective defense.
What happens between Skyler and Ted Beneke?
Does Skyler "break bad" in her accounting job?
Was the bear Jane's childhood toy, carried by Jane's mother en route to the funeral?
If so, was the plane crash a result of a tragic mistake, or was it premeditated murder?
Was anybody important injured or killed on the ground by falling debris?

the plane crash was weeks later
Jesse's psyche was damaged , unintentionally, by his parents..I'm not knocking them, parenting is no easy task when a Jesse or Jane are the children...And something important in their upbringing was missing for the two of them...and thousands of American children/teenagers/young adults...
True, Mr White did not help matters any...I think he made them worse...
Breaking Bad is the only show I watch and follow; there are some others,History, Rachel on MSNBC, NatGeo, but their advertising is so obnoxious..
Do you believe, "Walter the Pink Man" writer ,that Jane's father deliberately caused the crash of two aircraft for some definite reason....my imagination is working overtime...
1 to implicate Walter Sr
2 to kill his wife(she was a passenger on one of the planes, I guess) in order to spare her the knowledge that her daughter was a dope head...neither are believiable...
I think he was despondent, and maybe trying, in a strange way, to commit suicide...
Breaking Bad is quite a show, makes a man think..
drugs, health care, tolerance, relationships, more
wow, thats a lot of sybolism...
Jane's father only knows Walt as the guy he had a short conversation with at the bar. If it was intentional, it must have been to kill Jane's mother. He was sweating an awful lot while calmly giving commands that set the planes on a collision course. I don't see why he would want to kill her though. He never came across as a murderous type. Maybe he blames her for Jane's heroin habit, but it hardly seems like a fool proof murder scheme. Surely the faulty commands can be traced directly to him. And of course other innocent people had to die. Maybe he wanted to kill her before he commits suicide. I mean, if anyone would be suicidal it would be him. This is getting way too speculative, but I think it is safe to say we haven't seen the last of Jane's father.
I agree that Jesse's psyche was damaged by his parents, but if it wasn't for Walt's ambition to become a serious meth manufacturer he would never have been exposed to so much death and destruction, or so many grisly experiences (i.e., dissolving bodies in acid, watching a man's head get crushed by an ATM machine). He wouldn't have lost his house, so he wouldn't have met Jane and wouldn't have started using heroin and wouldn't have to cope with her death. Sure, he was already involved in dealing meth, but at a pretty insignificant level.
Man, I can't wait for next season!! The best TV show, EVER, hands down.
