Should Walt and Skyler be together in Season 3 ?

I'm just wondering if Walt and Skyler should be together in Season 3. Maybe it's more realistic for them to be living apart ! They would still have plenty of contact as they have two children and maybe Walt eventually comes to Skyler's rescue as she becomes more involved in the money issues at her work. This would certainly free Walt up to become more involved and to come to grips with his criminal side. It would certainly free up Walt to go deeper and deeper into the dark side ... what do people think ??

If I remember correctly in Vince's interview, he made a statement of the possible relationship with Ted and Skyler and would like to see more of that relationship develop and see where it takes the series. Wouldn't you think after Skyler, taking Holly and leaving in a huff as she did, some span of time might occur between Sklyer and Walt???...like a cooling off period for the two of them. At least for some time while Vince brings back other characters and develops them more, such as Marie, Hank or Walt Jr.

I think it would be great for the plot of season 3 if Walt and Skyler stay separated. I think Ted(the character not the actor) is a putz, and Skyler and him should only get together if it gives Walt incentive to kill him and get him off the show.

Let me add that this is the best show on TV and I hope that the writers and the cast(with the exception of Ted) stay together and we get at least 10 seasons of Breaking Bad. I would also like to see an episode in season 3 where Walt either goes on a peyote trip or has a hell of a nightmare, and they bring Tuco(Raymond Cruz) back for a special guest appearance.

I'm thinking that Ted might serve to eventually bring Walt and Skyler back together ... eventually. Ted gets Skyler deeper and deeper into his Million $ problem until Skyler is about to be found out by investigators. Walt comes to the rescue with the cash and bails Skyler and Ted out of the problem. Once be bails out Skyler she may be more accepting of the new Walt . Also Walt would have enough control of Ted's business that Walt may be able to use it to launder his money. In other words spends 1M to get Ted out of trouble , becomes a partner and launders his money through Ted's business.

But the bottom line is I'm thinking that Walt is not going to come up with a lie to keep Skyler and that season 3 should involve the two living apart . Walts not going to change and I don't think he can realistically keep lieing to Skyler.

I don't think they're going to be.......a separation seems to be in the cards for a while which will inspire a lot of questions and speculations from the rest of the family (Marie, Hank, Flynn). That will be pressure for BOTH Skyler and Walt to come up with some explanations about why a mother with a newborn would walk out on her husband. Skyler will be under as much pressure as Walt to answer questions, and I don't think she will want to discuss it at that point (unusual for her).

Walt needs time to set up his business and time schedule so that it's more discreet and not so haphazard so as to not draw attention to his activities. And to get his partner, Jesse, back on track.

Skyler, I think, even though she loves Walt, still has her eye on Ted. She may end up getting deeper into Ted's fraud troubles next season which may send her running back to Walt in the end just to avoid prosecution - even if she does end up being intimate with Ted.

I see them separated for at least half the season, if not the whole season. Skyler will get into her own trouble with Ted; Walt will need to nurse Jesse back to health; Jesse needs to recover and stabilize; the effects of all these events may cause Heisenberg to take more of a hold of Walt's personality without any interference from the influence of family.

Let's face it, Skyler hasn't been getting the attention she wants from Walt for quite some time. Ted has had his eye on her and knows how to manipulate her. Additionally, she's vulnerable and at 7 weeks post-partum is probably a little starved, if you know what I mean. ;) Ted is divorced and will take the nookie where he can get it. Having Skyler in the office just makes it easy.

My guess is the relationship will be short-lived, though. For one thing, I'll bet Ted isn't all that anxious to jump into something serious so quickly, but that is exactly what Skyler wants, because she needs to provide for her children. They'll get their ya-ya's out, but then go their separate ways.

I think they'll be separated for a least several episodes, but eventually, Skyler let Walt come home. In spite of his odd behavior, they've had a long history together and all the "unknowns" about Ted will outweigh what she knows about Walt...even if he still has a secret life.

Marie is going to look mentally stable after this is all over!

Heck no!
I think Skyler is a great character and should always be on the show, but right now, she is just draggin Walt down man!

Skyler is too melodramatic!!
It's okay though, every TV show needs a Skyler.

I realize this comes in very late on this blogging, but when I read Dr. K thinks Marie will be stable in Season 3, I started to chuckle...Marie, stable?? Marie is about as stable as bowl of jello...haha.

Silent, I used to think Sklyer was bitchy, but thinking more about her, and all that she has to deal with lately, I have changed my mind about Skyler and if Walt goes completely darker and darker in Season 3, I can't imagine why Skyler would feel safe with she and Holly when Walt is demonized to making more meth and telling more lies.
