I, too, would like to know the answer to that question. I absolutely love this show for its acting, pacing, storyline, casting and other miscellaneous reasons. Please bring Season 3 back on sooner than 2010. Thanks for the brilliance!

If it's any comfort, I think they start filming in July or August and shoot the whole season, which will take them into, say, October

They then edit and add the music the whole season and release it in January (or maybeMarch), since the season 3 finale will be shown, same as all other finales, in the peak ratings month of May

I agree that it's torture but then, AMC's budget seems to only allow for 13 episodes while other series have 20 to 25 episodes.

This season I noticed on Internet Movie Data base that they already had all the titles of every episode listed while we were watching the start of the season

Since they KNOW we're here now, maybe they'll tease us and start releasing certain behind the scenes videos or interviews during the Holidays to build up to the start of season 3 ??

You're probably right..I think it might be some time until they release the 3rd season on AMC..but all I can say is I hope that its sooner than later..I've seen every episode and and I am completely hooked..never seen a show like this one before..such an unusual story line its refreshing. So get to steppin' and make that chedder yo! hahah

I agree...AMC will torture us and make us all wait, people fainting and hyperventilating when the new season comes around in 2010. As I vaguely remember, Vince Gilligan saying how much time and effort it was to bring about Season 2 shortly after Season 1 and thought the series would end at Season 2. My belief is that since the series is such an hit, they all have to regroup and produce that 3rd Season which takes time and money. That is the practical theory I have for waiting for the 3rd season. Possibly seeing the reruns might stave off our anxiety attacks before the next season arrives. suppose?????? Hope that they bring out Season 2 DVD too...
