No reruns? : (
Feel like me?.....disappointed and wishin' for the weekly dose of BREAKING BAD?

yes, I'm missing the weekly episode !! I'd like to know when season 3 is going to start , do you know??
Got that right! Some of us poor people don't have On Demand (and may not have cable too much longer either- LOL)!
Yeah Man, Now its back to watching reruns of the World Poker Tour on GSN Sunday at 7:00 PM PST.
lol jamm54......i know the feeling
I was seriously depressed at 10:00 last night. I'm not kidding. I would have killed for even a rerun!!!
jamm54 "Got that right! Some of us poor people don't have On Demand (and may not have cable too much longer either- LOL)!"
I'm just curious as to why you wouldn't have cable much longer. Is it finances? a joke about no BB, life isn't worth paying for cable? Am I missing something?
In some areas the cable systems have non fast forwardable ads during the network shows (like FIOS does for ABC and NBC's On demands, I think it is) When I had Brighthouse Networks and first saw Breaking Bad, they actually had unedited (had nudity when Jesse did Windy and that other woman and other stuff along with swear words) and commercial free HD shows of BB on demand. But things are changing. A person is better off recording the shows on their DVR where you can still fast forward during ads.
Also, the DVD set of season 1 is not that expensive at all and has some special features like minisodes. I wish it would come out in Bluray though. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Glad you posted this, DepraveDave! What's up with that?? There could be some re-runs, at least!
Without BB...I might temporarily go back to hating TV, until Season 3 starts!! ha ha ha... =)
Sorry to hear that, jamm! We're your BB Family!! =) (I'd be willing to help you out, a lil' bit, if you need it...)
LMAO, skottey...we all don't have deep pockets, like you do, man... =\ Ha ha!
dlksee said "LMAO, skottey...we all don't have deep pockets, like you do, man... =\ Ha ha!"
My pockets aren't deep.... I just put what money I do have into things I really enjoy. I have bought DVDs and then bought the Director's cut and then bought the Bluray of a movie. But that is very limited.
Breaking Bad aired in HD for those lucky enough to have AMC HD or Breaking bad in HD On Demand. So it should have been released on Blu-ray when the DVD came out of season one. If it had, I would have bought the Blu-ray and not the DVD. But they only released it on DVD. But I love the show. So yeah, I would buy it again on BD.
But for anybody that wants to catch up, Breaking Bad Season 1 on DVD is not that expensive. Skip taking your family to McDonalds for dinner and there you go. Let them have breakfast with the Whites instead.
"Breakfast with the Whites", lol! Makes it sound like a family sitcom. :)
yea and it seemed like every sun. nite that breaking bad was on.......some other channel(Comedy Central!) would always be showing something i would have liked to have seen........though ofcourse nothing can touch breaking bad so it was never a question.......but go figure.......last sunday @ 9pm(Ctrl time zone) there was not a F@$KING thing to watch!!!! hahahahahaha........and i'm assuming Mad Men is over too??? i only caught a couple episodes of that but it seemed to have promise..........now theyre advertising Lonesome Dove? Come on amc........throw us a bone!!!!
rereuns?
haven't had the time myself
we been having a "bit" of a "torrent"ial rain here
skottey Finances, a classic reason, and cable would take a backseat to some other things. Maybe a good time to break my tv habit. Like go outside and walk or do some writing.
DepraveDave You don't like Lonesome Dove? If you haven't seen it (and you like westerns), it's one of the best! It's my favorite, and I LOVE Robert Duvall. Check it out, it's very good and the two characters are quite the individualists, to say the least.
MadMen will start in August for Season 3. It's pretty good, but to date, I still like the first season the most.
Dave-I know exactly what you mean, man. Sunday night was painful. I was flipping through the channels non-stop looking for something, anything!!!
DepraveDave...take comfort, in the fact that you're not alone, in your withdrawls!!
Hate to sound like a "traitor" to AMC...but, am gonna start watching "The Cleaner" again...maybe that'll temporarily help break my addiction to "Breaking Bad"! Ha ha! hah...*sigh*
Geezzzz...that WAS'NT EVEN funny... =\
Sorry! LOL!
Skottey...
I truly understand & appreciate, what you mean about focusing your money, towards whatever a person feels passionate about! It makes it WELL worth, working your butt off, all those long hours!!
LMAO, about "Breakfast with the Whites!" =)
Mickey D's always gave me the runs, anyway! LOL!!!
You've convinced me, to quit waiting to see if I'd won the DVD, of Season 1 & just buy it...Thanks! (And, will prolly end up, saving for a DVR, too!)
Jamm, I join you, in taking a break from TV!! However, my offer still stands, should you need it, when Season 3, begins!
LMAO...does that make me an "enabler", to want to help you, get your fix of BB?!? ;) ha ha ha!!
(I remember you posting your E-mail addy...but can't remember which thread it was in...lemme know, K?)
Sorry, though...can't join you, in wanting to watch more "Lonesome Dove"... =\
I've been totally burnt-out, on that mini-series. Argh... =\
diksee I'm at fremontjan@hotmail.com
Seems like when I posted that sometime ago, all of a sudden I was getting every email appeal for $$ from overseas/third world countries. Yikes. But feel free to email me when the mood strikes you.
Since BB ended, I've kind of gone blank like a tv screen. Not much to say, but I'll try......
LMAO, jamm!!! Yeah...I've kinda gone on "screen saver", too! =)
See ya!
BTW...ended up watching "Lonesome Dove"...;) There's just SOMETHING about Tommy Lee Jones, with that sexy, greying beard & white hair, I could'nt resist!
And, Robert Duvall plays such a sweet-heart!
My all-time favorite Westerns, that I never get tired of watching are:
Jeremiah Johnson
The Cowboys
Pale Rider
A Man Called Horse
