Walt lost me with this one. Up until now I have been rooting for him and hating all the grief he's been getting. But when he deliberately let Jane die, it made him no better than the low-lifes he's been dealing with.

That was stone cold to stand there & watch Jane choke to death. I'm not sure that I can bring myself to care any longer what happens to him.

Walt was faced with an immediate choice: save this girl or let her die? Remember when he was writing down the pros and cons of killing Crazy8? Well, he pretty much had to do that real quick in his head while watching Jane choke on her puke. If it was any other girl, Walt would've done something right away without even thinking about it. But here you have this little bitch that is threatening to fuck things all up royally for him, like getting his business partner hooked onto mainling heroin, making him unreliable and losing his trustworthyness, and then going all the way to threatening him with blackmail. What kind of shit is this girl gonna pull next time? He couldn't risk any more of all this, that's why he decided she had to go. He didn't really want to deep down, but he had no choice.

Walt was faced with an immediate decision. He could let Jane die or he could have saved her and let her continue to aid in the downfall of Jesse. Although Walt acts like a badass, you can tell that he cares about Jesse and wants only the best for him.
