The Pink Stuffed Animal
Belongs to Jesse. Watch Twaughthammer's "Fallacies" video for proof -- skip to the very end if you're impatient.
There is a lot of speculation around the stuffed animal in the pool and the 2 dead bodies (are they really bodies)? I bet the writers are going to shock the hell out of us, especially after last week.

good catch chipstyle
sure looks like it... but since Jesse is no longer at the aunt's house, how does it get to Walt's?
Jesse is about to become homeless -- I bet Walt agrees to store some of Jesse's stuff until he "better."
Speaking of Jesse, he has been surrounded by death this season and he's not emotionally equipped to handle it. Tuco, Spooge, Combo, and Jane have all bit the dust. to complicate matters he's been "abandoned" by Skinny Pete, Badger, and his parents. Now that Jane's gone, Walt is the only one left.
As long as he survives season 2, Jesse is primed for a comeback next season. At this point, he has nowhere to go but up.
The pink teddy bear is being used as an "Easter egg". It was at the deAnza Motel in "Phoenix", It was in the Whites' nursery back in, I think, "Bit Ny a Dead Bee" A whole rack of them was in the grocery store where Walt stripped down. And, of course, in the Twaughthammer video. And in the cryptic pool scenes. I'd bet that, if you looked hard enough, it's been used eleswhere.
Vince Gilligan must have bought a gross of them!
I want to know where to get one. I have a breaking bad poster, I might as well complete the package.
@ rkex Wow you have really been paying attention. I am going to have to go back and watch those episodes again.
An Easter egg is an intentional hidden message. What could the hidden message be here? That if Walt continues down this path it will destroy his family?
Do you think the pool/bodybags scene will happen in the season 2 final or further down the road towards the end of the show?
Just in case you were wondering there is a really nice Breaking Bad forum here: http://greymatter.forumotion.net/. They don't have nearly the amount of posters that they do here but the format is nice. Something that I wish they would do here. We could use an intelligent poster such as yourself over there.
Golly Rkex,
Good eye.. I had to replay it ... not only at the DeAnza Motel... but guess what it's sitting on top of.??
. that's a cover over a swimming pool
HOLY SHIT! Talking about trying to give us clues! My God.
Hey sorry rkex, just saw that you're already a member over there. Cool!
It's probably a basic case of symbolism. Something how the pink bear represents the dangers of getting involved with drugs, and their proximity to the characters and appearance signifies the characters spiral into the drug world.
First off, you've got the Twathammer video where Jesse is starting into the drug world, then in the Supermarket where Walt runs himself into an elaborate lie to cover up his kidnapping.
Then another appearance of the bear to signal walt missing his daugter's birth, and finally a pink bear at his home to really bring the point in when Walt is in way over his head.
Just my .02, though.
When I initially saw the pink bear it made me think of Bobo from the Simpson's tribute to Citizen Kane. Just as much as Rosebud and Bobo are used to represent the men's innocence before their transformation into men who ruthlessly pursue power in the lives of Kane and Mr. Burns, I think the bear represents the same for Walt. As we follow the path of the bear we are asked to consider Walt's transformation from frightened to powerful and back to frightened again. It's all chemistry!
Hmmm... That's some VERY interesting symbolism there Rogesi and sick4toys. Wow I never even thought of the comparison to Rosebud and Bobo. So true.

ZIA was that in the Phoenix episode where it was on top of the swimming pool cover?
And what episode was that where Walt stripped down in the store? LOL.
This is from the LA Times.
"Yes, the teddy bear question will be answered. And no, you don’t know how it will end up in the pool. You may think you know. You don’t."

trueblu ... yes right at the beginning of phoenix.. you see motel sign... and there it is laying on the cover over the pool.
it's got the fence all around it, as required by law and fake astro turf... has to be a pool
The pink stuffed animal at the motel looks like a different one--maybe a bunny instead of a bear?

I just watched the finale! Wow! Wow! Wow!
Is it possible that someone who was at the De Anza Motor Lodge was on that plane? The Pink Bear was on the pool cover of the same motel where Walt did the exchange, AND where Jesse went to get spun out.
When Q (Jane's Dad) was controlling the two planes that collided, it sure looked like he was staring STRAIGHT at the screen very intently. It sure didn't look like an accident!
They should have called that last episode "Truth and Consequences", although I get the connection between ABQ and the plane crashes. (ABQ is the airport and air traffic control code for ABQ)
What if the Pink Bear is being used as a vehicle to transport Blue Ice?! And the one in the pool from the plane contains Blue Ice. That would be mind-blowingly cool and further support the "Walt's chickens coming home to roost" concept.
