Heisenberg
Why exactly did Walter chose the name of scientist Werner Heisenberg (1901-1976) for his alter ?

cant really say it was based off that but okay
he had to say something to Tuco :)
maybe he was feeling a little uncertain with that big bag of mercury fulminate..uncertain if he was going to make it out alive
no, it was based on all the other famous Heisenbergs
Having studied German in school, I know that "eisberg" means "iceberg," so I kind of thought it had something to do with that. As in, Heisberg being a really cold character, who can do all kinds of nasty stuff in the name of business, without it affecting him emotionally.
@rockmama
thanks for postin some cool facts thats pretty clevar if they did base it off that hahah i dont think we will ever find out why he said his name was heisenburg in the first place maby we will
Heisenberg is most famous for his Uncertainty Principal. If you read it you can see how it relates to the show and Walts life.
Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle is usually taught as part of the high school chemistry curriculum.
Not only was he responsible for the Uncertainty Principle Heisenberg also died of Cancer.
