Talk about Episode 12, "Phoenix."
Now that is all over till next season. What are we Breaking Bad fans going to do now??
But do mope all summer.. you know what to do to fill the void... don't cha?
Remember the water heater installation? Does Jane's dad connect Jesse and Walt? Does he in a fit of rage take out Skyler and Junior by mistake or do they get killed in a water heater explosion.
Do Walt and Jesse go under with fake deaths? Since we know Jane is gone this one has been what I have been leaning towards all week. With everybody getting closer to them this is a possibility.
On the other hand with the family out of the way the show could focus more on Walt as he becomes more and more a "druglord" type.
Keep the Kleenexes handy tonight though.
Wouldn't it be cool if they did a movie based on the series?
I thought it would be fun to discuss it here.
Now, since this may never happen, I figure we could just name names of whoever would be best in the roles as well as a good long two and a half hour length to cover the whole storyline
I just have this need to rant in reply to something that was posted on the "Ask Vince" Thread, but that thread was not the appropriate place
for my reply.
We missed 2 episodes in the midst of Season 2 due to a DVR f__k up.
Because Breaking Bad is so complex and nuanced we didn't want to watch the rest until we could see what we'd missed.
Bummer-city! AMC doesn't appear to re-run previous episodes throughout the week, nor do the mini-marathons that HBO, etc do.
SO! Does anyone know whether the second season will be in re-runs soon?
I have searched but failed to locate theories of where Walt's spare tire rolled to during the frenzied and final BIG meth deal. Since the action of the actual deal occurred off camera, we aren't privy to where the wheel ended up. Surely it MUST matter? Again, apologies if this has been addressed. but like the insulin/tuberculin syringe - the spare tire is yet another bit of hard evidence lurking in the background with the potential to incriminate Walt. Is this final episode the end of Breaking Bad? Such a great show but how long can it go on?
Firstly, I'm a big fan of the show and can't wait to be able to purchase season two! The show is a big breath of fresh air from some of the rehashed tripe we normally get. Please keep producing original, interesting quality like this - we'll keep supporting you!
Secondly, can't wait for the season finale! I've got a Breaking Bad poster up in the office and have converted about a dozen of my fellow aussies into Breaking Bad fans as well.
Great work and can't wait for season 3!
cheers

i think also jane will die naext she choked on her on vomit
I know it's actors and writers, but it really got me and made me very angery, I'm still mad, that Walt could stnad there and watch Jane die with out helping. Good stuff to get to me like that! I want more.
Wouldn't it be a wild "what if" --- if Jesse and Walt were to , over the course of the series, switch roles?
Now when this started, Jesse was basically a slacker. He had a home provided by his aunt and he basically didn't have much of a post high school "life"
Walt on the other hand, had a "life" complete with a career and family and home. All up until the moment that he found out he was going to die.
Hi everyone, I am a devoted viewer of the show and I missed the last episode of the show. I think it was episode 12- Open Thread. How can I get caught up?
Belongs to Jesse. Watch Twaughthammer's "Fallacies" video for proof -- skip to the very end if you're impatient.
There is a lot of speculation around the stuffed animal in the pool and the 2 dead bodies (are they really bodies)? I bet the writers are going to shock the hell out of us, especially after last week.
I like Breaking Bad so much I have written some pieces analyzing it. I have a B.A. in Film Writing and Analysis so hopefully I have some idea what I'm talking about.

Why exactly did Walter chose the name of scientist Werner Heisenberg (1901-1976) for his alter ?
Did you have the plot fully worked out when you began, or did you develop, hone or revise it along the way?
im the guy the whole thing was based on
Talk about Episode 11, "Mandala."

It bothers me when something as simple as homebrew is completely goofed up by someone who has invested tons of time and money in the hobby. Hank has a dream setup.
When I first heard Hank tell Marie "this is art" while bottling homebrew in the garage, I immediately knew something was going to go horribly wrong. I honestly thought someone was going to get food poisoning from his beer, to make an interesting story arc.
(There's only a few microbes which survive in beer, none of which can kill you directly, though many have allergic reactions.)
why cant i watch episode 11, i missed it now i cant find it to watch.why?
I was watching a series today called The DaVinci Inquest (filmed in Canada a couple years ago) and this one episode showed that someone was cooking meth from a hotel room and they had run a pipe to the bathroom vent THINKING the fumes would just drift away into the air but the fumes actually went into the next room and killed an innocent couple.
So when DaVinci the coroner came onto the scene he hurridly notified the manager and then he himself went door to door making sure everyone got out and away from the building immediately. Then he called the drug team to the scene. There was a slight indication that the incident had actually happened a day or two before
Now my question is this: Seeing as how so far Walt and Jesse have cooked in that RV at least three
times, even though they wore home made Hazmat type suits it looked to me like the windows were shut and the door TO the RV was shut as well alot of times.
Plus in a recent episode, they were both sweating it out IN the RV while desperate to try to figure out how to get out of their situation.
Do you think that Breaking Bad has any success in deterring people that may be considering getting into the world of illegal drug usage, manufacturing, or distribution by showing how such activity can ultimately ruin lives, among other consequences? Or do you think individuals contemplating such a lifestyle would brush off the different situations depicted on this show as "This is just stuff on TV - None of that will happen to me."?
I was really pi**ed when Jesse shot up. I would have rather seen him go to a NA meeting. I really liked the character Jane, but now I don't. She's going to ruin EVERYTHING!!!!!!
...with only two episodes in season two yet to be revealed, will you be the first to expose the contents?
even though he's only in two episodes I really find him interesting in a very mysterious way, I hope to see him in the 3rd season.
those baddies such as skinny pete, spooge, spooge's wife, and wendy... are they just really good actors/actresses? or are they being themselves??
Once again-- remember---
this thread contains my personal best educated guesses on the last episode of season 2.....
I really think that the season finale is going to be a train wreck and nobody will be left untouched
The producers might want to show what happens to everybody which means they have to do that within the 45 minute time restraints so....it could be a very fast paced episode since we have a multitude of characters to cover
Talk about Episode 10, "Over."
Aaron Paul said in an interview that the last 3 episodes of season 2 will blow our minds! I CANT WAIT TILL TONIGHT!!!!!!! cheers mates.........
The fans of Breaking Bad, would like to welcome the new addition, to your family!!!
Girl or Boy? What did you name, your lil' one?
Not trying to be nosy...just excited for you!
Hugs! =)
I just seen a preview pic of Jane preparing to "Bang" Jesse with a friggin' needle.........miss sober is gonna get our boy shooting up........What do you all think.......did y'all see this coming? I kinda did.....
As Heisenberg gains more of a foothold over Walt's personality and makes more appearances in his everyday and criminal life, what will Walt do to "feed the monster" inside? The ante goes up as the dark feelings grow, and to feel more empowered, Walt will have to resort to more extreme actions and behavior to satiate those feelings.
What do you think those actions would be? Will anybody notice or call him on it? Would Jesse?
In his drug dealings, for example, Walt is currently using verbal threats to intimidate, and feels pretty powerful afterward. As time goes on, I figure in this world, Walt will resort to more lethal methods to get that same feeling. Walt could end up being an excellent poisoner to get his message across rather than guns, to feel empowered and achieve his ends. The possibilities are endless.......
I've seen them all but my fiance needs to see season 2. She's stuck on ep 3, I have 4 onward DVRd, but on demand removed ep 3, and amctv.com is slacking on posting ep 3... so we're stuck unless we skip, c'mon amctv!
Ya can't really watch it on this site, right?
I know season 2 isn't "over" yet, but I find myself already missing the show and itching for season 3.......Are we going to have to wait 6 months for season 3 ?........Why not become revolutionary and make it a year round series?....... I don't ever want it to stop for even a month much less 6 months.
first of all im a new member i love the show its brilliant with the hidden inuendos, foreshadowing and dark humor plus a awesome cast so season two is a up and down rollercoaster from new chacters introduced like saul goodman and jane or even the dea agent played by dj qualls and somehow the show keeps me hooked on the otherwise boring life of such a brilliant man and his stoner former student as far as the end of the season i think that the two body bags shown at the start of episode 10 are quite possibly walt jr and skylur because it would break walt away from his life and he could fuly transform into hesinburg plus it would people closer to discovering his secret and hank could play a huge role because he is a dea agent but he also has a deep shadow just like the chemistry teacher turned methcooker a dea agent could be as well but whose to say this show will keep you guessing to the end keep up the good work guys
Now I know some of you want many seasons to come. And the way the episodes are progressing. It seems never ending. But by the scenes at the begining of season two episode 10 I have a feeling I am gonna hate the ending. I love this show. I have loved it sense I first watch the first one the first day it aired. The short season and the long wait for season 2 have left me a little irritated. I understand keep'm watching AMC. But I will always watch amc. Why? Simply put. I love old eastwood westerns. Will watch them over and over untill I die. I'm just wishing for a quick merciful ending to this awesome tale. Many props for the genius of this show. I haven't been hooked like this in years. But please stop on top. I know many fans will miss it. But this is too much.
I guess I can't help but see a season 3 being as we are no where near a ending and we only have 4 episodes left. But Can we start season three in less than a year please. That and finish it. Thats all I ask. Too much to ask?
can anyone plz tell me the name of the song at the end of the show thanks and who sings it

I posted this back when the season first started and I thought I would revive it now.
Hey guys, please check out my new breaking bad forum: http://greymatter.forumotion.net .
Its a bit bare at the moment, but please join, I am currently working on some updates, thanks.
Has anyone else noticed a color scheme going on in at least the characters names. There's Mr. WHITE, Jesse PINKman, and wasn't the lawyer Mr. GOLD sumthin or other. Then there's the frequent topic of the blue meth and those new sheets on Jesse's bed were awfully yellow. Perhaps these are all the colors of the meth rainbow.
Jane Parsons is Walter White.
You gotta see Bumpy the Tortoise too!

I have watched this show from day one and absolutely love it. It reminds me of the 70's and 80's mini series, when the next day at work all anybody talked about was what happened on the show. AND you couldn't miss it cause there were no encore shows or taping it to watch later. Now with so much on, esp. the "realiity" crap everyone is watching something different. Glad for the chance to see comments on the show. I am not into the "challenges" on accuracy or bloopers, but I was all ears when Walt allegegly had Transient Global Amnesia, because I had that last year and it is scary. But according to the doctor you will not do anything while you are having the TGA that you would not ordinarily do. Anyway, love the show. Between Breaking Bad and Mad Men i am in TV heaven.
Both Walt and Skyler appear to have blue eyes in the show, however Walt Jr appears to have brown eyes. Most people with high school science would know that the blue eye color is recessive and if both parents are homozygously recessive (both having blue eyes), their offspring should be the same. Unless one of them wears coloured contacts, something is clearly wrong. Walt is also a very intelligent man and you would think he would be aware of this fact as well. There were hints of a possible relationship with Skyler and Ted in episode 7 of season 2. Ted appears to have brown eyes and could possibly be the father.
Now that Mr. White is gonna want out of the game he wont be around to keep Jesse straight. You guys know whats gonna happen don't you? All that money, all that crank ,Jesse is gonna start tweekin'. Hell I bet Jesse even drags down Jane too. Jesse and Jane the new skank and spooge
My wife and I have watched since the beginning and it seems like the quality of the writing and the storylines just keep getting better.
Can't wait to see what happens next week.
Talk about Episode 8, "Better Call Saul."
So what does everyone think the finale is leading to? What brings this to a crescendo? What the hell does Walt do to get his house blown up? I'm feeling fatigued just thinking about it! Tell me what you think!
Here's the thing, straight up yo...
My entry into the Video Contest was never to actually WIN the BUX or "WALK ON THE SHOW"... It was intended to simply try to attract an iota of attention from the KILLER AMC Production peeps - to drive a liitle subliminal support towards a legal and functional Not For Profit that IS A SUCCESSFUL albeit FLEDGLING Organization to AID FAMILIES raising kids from METH' SHATTERED homes.
heres how its gonna work...make a comment on this post indicating YOU REALLY NEED MORE VOTES. (anyone with more than 100 votes to date DOES NOT need more votes!)

Can anyone tell me where I can see last Sunday's episode?
I would never pass Mr. White's chemistry class, but I was thinking what would the scientific equation for Breaking Bad be?
Breaking Bad = Walt White multiplied by desperation squared
I gave it a go , what do you think? How about any other equations in regards to the show? Come on give it a shot. I know there are alot of clever people here!
This is by far the best show I've ever seen on television. The only show that even comes CLOSE to this one would have been Vic Mackey and the Shield (Michael Chiklis). After seeing Hank, I knew that HE should have been Chiklis. He would have ROCKED that character.
I was so thrilled to see Hal again! To be honest, that was the initial draw. I first saw mention of Breaking Bad by accident, running through AMC at On Demand and seeing the brief Synopsis and picture of Bryan Cranston. Just envisioning what I read was thrilling. It was like destiny because I saw it only after the pilot had aired so I got in early.
Does Jane have the potential to be a true noir femme fatale? Notice she always wears black, but has what I consider the deceptively sweet, innocent features of a young girl. Will she be turn out to be the "helpful" female who betrays the hero (Jesse) in the end? I'm thinking of such femme fatales from the likes of "Maltese Falcon", "Out of the Past" and "Body Heat". Does Jane have an agenda? So far, no new character on the scene has been incidental to the story......
