The Wrath of Hank
Well, looks like Hank is movin' on up, with landing that big promotion! BUT, is he done with Jesse Pinkman? That had to have pissed off Hank in a big way to be involved in that gunfight with Tuco and nearly getting killed (which he's still feeling aftershocks from), and Jesse simply walks out of the DEA Station unscathed. I think while Hank is doing double-duty, he's gonna have his DEA co-workers watching Jesse, and possibly pulling one of Jesse's "distribution" buddies aside and telling them "You're now a confidential informant for us, or you're back in jail" What do you all think?

Makes sense to me. This season has been really fast moving. I can't imagine where this is going, with Walt getting bolder and bolder as he frantically tries to make up for the money he and Jesse squandered away. They are way over their heads. I think Walt is a sympathetic figure because he's basically a good guy who is only thinking of his family. His rationale is that he deserves whatever he can get to make up for lost opportunities. He was a milquetoast type of guy who lacked the confidence to go for the big bucks. He had the brains but not the guts. Now he’s desperate enough to do anything to provide for his family. It should get very interesting next episode when Skyler finds out his old girlfriend and her husband have NOT been paying for his care as he told her. If you thought she was pissed before….she’s liable to go ballistic! I can't help but wonder what Hank will do when he finds out....big dilemma. He really likes Walt and the fact that Walt is family will be tough. This is one of the best written, acted, directed, and filmed shows ever. I could watch it till the end of time.
I think the DEA will tap Badger for that honor. Interesting idea bfn! Badger seems like a real weak link in the Jesse pool - I could see him folding easy to any pressure. Considering he was with Jesse through a few adventures, but I can't remember - has Badger seen Walt or heard of who Jesse's partnered with?
All I can say is, dont let Walt die for many years. I love this show. I even watch the reruns during the week. Going to win alot of awards, you can bet on it.
Yes jamm54, Badger knows who Walt is (remember the "Break in"?) and what Walt does. Even though he DOES seem to be a pretty logical choice for a DEA informant, you have to question whether or not he could screw over his long time buddy Jesse like this. But, maybe he's gonna look at this as a way to kind of get back at Jesse for treating him like shit, and it's possible the DEA may give him that big ultimatum: "You'll do it, or else back in the slammer for you!", and I doubt Badger would want that.
Now, as far as Skinny Pete being an informant: The possibility is definitely there. He could have easily overpowered and kicked that junkie's ass that rolled him. Why didn't he? That was $$$ out of his pocket he stole from him! Something stopped him. Plus, if you saw next Ep's sneak preview, he doesn't want anything to do with "taking care" of that bum and his ugly bitch, using the excuse of him being on probation. He's worried about his OWN ass, therefore HE could snitch to keep himself out of the clink.
And who's this third guy Combo? Notice he was the first one who eagerly asked Jesse if he had any "refreshments" at their meeting? I'm no drug producer, but if I was, I think that would send up a red flag thought right away like "Why the hell does HE want to know if I have anything? Who said anything about this meeting being about drugs?
Something else I just thought of: Next Ep is titled "Peekaboo" - could that be like "Peekaboo! I see you!" type of thing, such as somebody watching someone?
That's sounds pretty scary, bfn. There could be soo.... many people keeping tabs on Walt or Jesse without them knowing.
The third guy you mentioned seemed more intent on having freebies or wanting to know if there was drugs on the premises. Yeah, he could be a potential rip-off artist/backstabber.
That third guy, Combo, just seemed a little bit too anxious to get out there to sell meth for Jesse. I don't know - I could be all wrong.
For all the hassle these 3 guys have to go through to sell meth for Jesse. It doesn't seem like the $500.00 per ounce commission they're earning is enough. It sure as hell wouldn't be for me if I were dealing!
Maybe landlady Jane and the tough guys she mentioned who could take of Jesse if he screwed up will have "potential employees" for Jesse. It'd be a laugh if they turned out to be Tuco/Tio related.
Speaking of which, when Walt and Jesse were with Tuco, he made specific comments that "my cousins are on they're way, and they'll be here by evening". Well, did they ever show up? Wonder what became of that?
BFK-true druggies are never in it for the money-their whole life revolves around the drug and will do anything to make sure that drug is close at hand in one way or another-the stooges portray reality-users have to be close to the drug-they are not concerned with how the drug has already taken their life-financially, emotionally or physically-did you get a load of that chick?-she was gone!! In the canyon these fools are in, they aren't concerned about how the drug uses them-or why they got there...they just want to make sure they can get to use some more drugs before the high wares off.
