Okay, let me be a male chauvinist pig right now and say that chick was hot! I got that out of my system, but this woman looks like she's more than Jesse could handle. It's just one thing too many. Imagine if she caught wind of what he's doing. Would she inherit the habit or turn him in? Ughh... it just makes me nauseous thinking about it.

SHE may try to go after Jesse, instead of the other way around. Did you see the way she lit up when he whipped out that wad of $$$ to pay for the apartment? Young, hot looking, obviously money minded young women like her would jump on a chance with a young, single guy with a nice pile of jack to burn. Wouldn't matter how he earned it, but I'm sure she probably figured he was into something illegal to get it. Hell, she may even snort a bump or two if he offered it to her. And to have him living right next door too? No wonder she threw Daddy's rules out the window!

Yeah, she did seem enthusiastic when he was flashing his wad of cash around, plus didn't she charge him $100 more a month in rent? Bet she's pocketing that little monthly tip and not sharing it with Daddy. The landlady also mentioned she knew a couple of guys that would kick Jesse to the curb if he screwed up, so not exactly an angel in the morning.....

Ha! You mean that "DBAA" charge? Oh yeah, Daddy's not gonna see any of THAT! I wonder if they may ever show who "Daddy" is, and how kindly he's gonna take to having a guy of Jesse's caliber living next door to his little princess? Not to mention how he might react to her if he would see Jesse's buddies stopping over? Oh well, just speculating at this point!

I'm sure that Jesse and the landlord girl are gonna get together somewhere down the line, but I'm sure he knows he'll have to be careful getting involved with anybody romantically. Even though this would be the furthest thing from his mind at this juncture, he's still a young guy, and would most likely jump at the chance to get down her pants!

I kind of wondered about Jesse's lack of libido, so to speak. He is young, and used to have more "free time" (before he met Walt and now before he started grooming himself to be a wannabe Tuco). You'd think Jesse would be hitting on somebody or would the meth affect his sex drive? I don't know.

Who knows about Daddy and Daughter, and what their background is all about. They may be a force to be reckoned with. Daughter may not be a little "princess", but a hell-on-wheels because her father certainly trusted her to handle renting out the property on her own. She looked young to be handling that kind of work.

Also, considering she didn't mind clipping Jesse an extra $100 on rent, and he didn't mind paying - well, money seemed to be her goal. Jesse pretty much stepped up to the plate with "Patsy" on his forehead. She may figure he's going to be an easy mark for money down the line. I'd say she has great potential to be a swindler of a sorts, and Jesse is in her crosshairs.

Hot with an edge (Jesse's not gonna go for the girl next door even if in a former life he was surely 100% the boys next door) tough and smart.

I think all that is important in the fact she may be the one to see and tell Jesse he's smart ... smart enough to get himself out of this mess before its too late.

More than hot or compatible I think its a fabulous addition because Jesse is desperate for someone care.

His attempts at going home and trying to go straight with a real job were both pivotal in his desire to get out of this mess and straighten himself out. So far no one, his parents, Walt or friends have given damn. All have written him off (Walt worst of all as he seems to often have reduced Jesse to a tool rather than a human being) as a lost cause.

One person who sees Jesse for more than what he is and is becoming and cares enough to try to pull him back from the edge could be a huge deal for this character and the thing convinces Jesse to let Walt go down the rabbit hole on his own.

Maybe Jane is what Jesse needs?

I definately can see some sort of clash with Jane's father whenever this love connection blooms into something real.
And I think it will be really interesting to see what happens with this now that Jesse is beginning to take control and as Walt told him, handle the situation. Granted, Jane's clearly not the girl next door like you guys have been saying, but will she be okay with the fact that Jesse is who he is, a rising druglord? I have a feeling that he'll keep it from her, considering he wouldn't let his friends smoke meth in the apartment. I wonder if it will be a Walt/Skyler situation with different elements.
Though I think it would be surprising and kind of awesome if Jane was just as badass as Jesse. I get a cool vibe from her. And let's face it, she's much better than Wendy.

For the record I'm not talking a fluffy sappy care either. I see Jane -- perhaps that DBAA was foreshadowing -- possibly caring with more of a "don't be an asshole you're better than this" slap upside the head style.

Of course from their names together it could swing the other way? I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks Jesse Jane sounds a lot like Jesse James which will always scream outlaw.

Either way as long as he can make the love connect at least Jesse won't be all alone (I call him my TV son so I DO NOT LIKE his being alone) in this anymore.

For the moment, I think Jane is more interested in Jesse than he is in her. He just wanted to get a place and be settled. But he's thinking about it, for sure. To my knowledge, Jane is not a MILF, but a guy can change his mind about that.

And she's already exploiting him...she's taking money off the top of the rent. I'll bet he doesn't mind all that much, though.

Oh Jane is definately going to play an important part in this season. I don't think Jesse is going to have a problem with Pops, as much as he is going to have a problem with his partner Walt. Check it out. Jesse is a person who longs for exceptance, & approval. His parents just booted him, Walt only cares about himself, and his boys only care about the high's they get from the mad crystal they're slinging. Jesse told Jane he is a 'good person', and I think deep down Jesse is a good person, and with a little friendly guidance from this very 'HOT' landlord, soon to be very HOT girlfriend Jesse is going to be very divided where to spend his time. I mean, business or pleasure. Hmmmm. What do you think Jesse is gonna do?? Pleasure my friends, pleasure.
And the plot just keeps getting better and better. Don't ya just love it?

Walt doesn't give a shit about Jesse except as a means to his goal. At least Jesse acknowledged that, but he really should get as far away from Walt as possible. Maybe in the future, they'll end up being competing drug lords fighting over who controls Albuquerque turf. Who knows....

jamm54 Jesse doesn't have a poor sex drive and the meth hasn't affected his libido. Jeese is too young and hasn't been doing it long enough for that to be happening ,but for someone like Spooge it would. Jesse lives a life style that has no time for the females,at least no more than an hour or so. When you are in it that deep it's always bussiness first, bitches last. And when you are running hard, and doing illegal stuff that will put you away for awhile if you get caught by the police, the last thing you need is some chick calling you, wanting to be with you , wondering where you are, who you're with,ect... That's why Jesse doesn't have alot of honey's hanging on him.
Now Jane is interesting and Jesse is interested,and she's better looking that Mr.White.
I think she is gonna be the one who saves Jesse and Mr. White in episode 9. She probably will be the only one who knows that they are gone, and how long they will be gone for. And when Jesse isnt back when he says, it might be Jane who saves the day.
But the idea that she maybe related to Tuco isn't that crazy she did tell Jesse she knew some guys who would have his skinny ass out but by the dumpster quicker than he could blink.

Thanks for the insight, Blade Runner, about Jesse. I guess I'm a romantic, but I did wonder why a young good-looking guy like Jesse wouldn't be at it like a jackrabbit. What you wrote cleared that up for me. Basically, for Jesse, it's catch-as-catch can. Probably if Jane didn't conveniently live next door, he wouldn't be seeing that much of her or even be that consistently involved.
