Predictions

Since I've started a cult following here in my town its under heavy discussion what is going to happen at the end of this season. We see Walt's glasses and the bear being fished out of the pool, but where do we BB's really think this is leading to?

Give me all your takes on it. Whose pool is it?

I think that "scene" with the singed bunny, HazMat guy, evidence bags et al has something to do with Walt Jr. He's up to something, don't you think?

His dad is disappearing right and left (and dying), and his mother is pregnant and freaking out. Why isn't Walt Jr hanging around home more to be there for his mother? He's the only child, and the family life is in turmoil, so why isn't he stepping up to the plate to console/comfort Skyler? He's doing something.....

user-pic

Oh, and I think it's Walt's pool/backyard.

Yea.............you would think Walt Jr. would step up to the plate for his mom............however, think about this. Maybe Jr. is the kind of guy that hates controversy, and doesn't want to deal with it. So he hangs out with his friends, where there isn't turmoil, and tension every second of the night. Gives him piece of mind.

user-pic

noah: sounds like Jr is more like Walt. Until Walt started his "activities", didn't he seem like the quiet, passive type? Skyler would be a tough person to comfort because she can be so combative and aggressive. Even Hank was tentative about comforting her that time when Walt disappeared. The body language was hesitant (that's when she started screaming at Hank for saying Marie needed "understanding" about her problems).

user-pic

Oh, that's Walt's house and his pool allright. No doubt in my mind whatsoever. My prediction as to what happened there is like I've been saying all along: The drug cartel boys from "Meheco" come to town, and they aren't amused with the idea of Walt cooking up his high-test meth and running them outta business, so they find out who he is and where he lives, then they bomb his house. There may even be kidnapping and other scary shit involving his family members too. Walt Jr. is up to his eyebrows in all this too, since I think he turns to drugs (Thanks to Louis) as a way out and away of his once quiet loving family gone dysfunctional. These are SOME of my predictions. Read 'em and weep!

laz3000 and jamm54: What are your takes on what happens regarding Hank and his DEA boys putting two and two together?

I'm gonna hold off on my ideas about Hank for now, His promotion has some big signifigance in this show, and I'm still wondering what that may be. One thing for sure: TIO knows it was that DEA man Hank Schrader that killed his nephew Tuco, and he's gonna communicate that somehow to his "boys". DEA agent or not, nothing stops those kind of guys from retaliation.

user-pic

Okay, its getting ugly. I do see the point about all this stuff with Walt Jr. coming to my attention plus the water cooler peeps are thinking that Jr. took found Walt's stash. Rumor has it that Jr. might also be into the very drug that daddy cooked up! Man, that would be a sick turn of events.

Walt has literally killed the competition. Crazy 8 and Tuco are dead because of senor Heisenburg. I can no longer empathize with the man. He's trying to get Jesse to be his enforcer, like he's immune to anymore chaos. I think that's what the end of the season will ultimately show... how Walt's "learning curve" has only begun. He doesn't know what he started. He should have swallowed his pride and took the job with Elliot.

As for Hank, my heart goes out to the guy. At this point everyone still thinks that Walt is the straight edge. Hank won't take his brother-in-law's about face lightly, but we can be sure that he'll think twice before he pulls a gun again... or maybe pull it quicker since he could have lost his own life. I don't know how to read Hank quite yet. We thought we knew him until this last episode. Who knows what's going through his mind.

user-pic

I'm thinking about Hank's promotion. With Jesse and Walt starting their own cartel there is bound to be turf wars. The Mexico boys are going to either join up with Heisenberg or try to shut him down. Hank is going to be in the middle of the lunacy regardless. Its either let them kill each other or stick up for his family. The DEA might come down hard on Hank if he shows a lack of character in his duties. There's a lot to think about going forward.

user-pic

What really bugs me more than anything is Walt telling Jesse to "handle it" meaning kill or do whatever to protect their product.

Where does Walt come off telling Jesse to put his life on the line? How 'bout Walt going out and handling it? And why does Jesse do what Walt tells him even though he stood up to Walt in the last episode. I don't really think Jesse is the killer type. Mouthy, yes. Killer, no. I DO see Walt being a coldblooded killer, to tell the truth. Man, Walt's getting pretty cold.

I think Hank, Jesse and Walt are going to be in the crosshairs of the Mexican cartel. Hank being targeted in El Paso, Walt and Jesse in Albuquerque. Poor Hank, I think he's on the verge of a mental breakdown. Interesting that tough old Hank crumbles, yet meek Walt is getting harder - he bounced back pretty good from killing the guy in the basement.

user-pic

bfn: I think Hank's split time between El Paso/Albuquerque will slow down putting it all together.

Of course, if the cartel blows up Walt's house, it's going to be hard to explain why his house.....I don't know - I'm not bright enough to figure out the plot that far ahead. LOL. The only thing I think can say with conviction is that it will all end badly. LOL

user-pic

Sorry to be commenting so much, but on The Hot Landlady is occurred to me that in the future I could see Walt and Jesse splitting up, and competing against each other. Jesse hooks up with Jane and they form a partnership, and Walt is out. A woman can always come between two men.

jamm54 said: Where does Walt come off telling Jesse to put his life on the line.

If you will recall Walt has saved Jesse's life a couple of different times, the first was out in the desert where he talked Crazy 8 into allowing him to show him his secret recipe, and then at Tuco's place, where he told Tuco how much he needed Jesse. If he hadn't spoken up then, Tuco would have killed him on the spot. That being said, I think Walt figures he's been carrying the heaviest load and Jesse needs to step it up.
I think you're right in your assupmption that Jane is going to come between Walt & Jesse, but the reason is because Jesse/Jane will be to busy hooking up for Jesse to keep his mind on the business at hand. That will spell T R O U B L E!

user-pic

I know Walt has saved Jesse's life a couple of times, but I don't think it's because he cares. Jesse is Walt's roadmap to the meth world - it's a business thing. But think what Walt is asking of Jesse - it really is to put his own life on the line. Walt is not doing the same by being in the RV cooking.

As for Jane, well, more complexity in Walt and Jesse's troubles would only add to the suspense!

user-pic

Maybe Jesse doinks her and gets her preggy! And then Jesse would want to go straight because it's "the responsible thing to do". HA!!

user-pic

well......i agree with the comment about jr. ending up doing dads meth.......sometime down the road.....

the pink teddy bear tells me Skylar will have a girl??

maybe walt burns the house down to cover tracks and get insurance.........bwahahahahahahaha

that would kick ass...

and I'm convinced that the wallets and phones that were left out @ tucos hq are gonna turn up @ dea hq soon.........wouldnt ya think?

goooood stuff :P

DepraveDave:
The idea of Walt Jr. beginning to mix it up with those who might be experimenting with meth, of him actually ending up with meth pushed by one of Jesse's dealers and manufactured by his dad --- that would be a really, really interesting and ironic twist.

John
I think you may be right about Walt Jr
He IS acting out and exhibiting risky behaviors

I still think the house is blown up due to a meth lab explosion though as Skyler may move out leaving the house empty or go in with it all
and TV morality has to show it all comes to a bad end--right?

user-pic

Okay, everyone is saying it's definitely Walt's house that blows up at the end of the season, but I want to know where the pink bear came from since we see it in the "Fallacies" video behind Badger. I thought that was Jesse's garage or one of their friends possibly. So why would it have turned up at Walt's house?

Any thoughts?

user-pic

Boy, I just re-watched S. 1, Ep. 1-7 again, of which I thought everyone was saying the pink fuzzy bunny showed up near the end of S. 1, like ep. 6 "Crazy Handful of Nothin'" at the baby shower, but I don't see it. The bunny's starting to drive me crazy. I'm not sure whose it is or where it originally really showed up in the series (Walt's house or Jesse's).

Possibilities:

1) Walt's house bombed by Tuco relatives;
2) Accidental explosion at Walt's because he didn't get rid of the mercury he used in his first meeting with Tuco - it was somewhere in the house;
3) Hank, in his new positon/promotion, is targeted by the cartel as he and Marie are visiting the Whites;
4) Walt Jr sets off an accidental explosion with his own experiments;
5) The old hot water heater finally blows;
6) Other cookers/distributors looking for Walt and Jesse's chemicals - Badger or Clovis sell the information.

My half-baked suggestions.....

I don't have that many ideas.....

user-pic

How bout Walt's doctor visit last episode......seemed like the dr. was very optimistic(cautious optimism he says).....

wouldnt it be great if hank beats the cancer and is left to deal with this mess for the rest of his long life? hahaha

user-pic

DD: your suggestion of Walt surviving the cancer isn't that far out. My friend told me a story of a guy diagnosed with cancer, given so many months to live - so the guy's response was fuck it, I'm gonna have a good time. Went out and charged up a fortune in trips, restaurants, everything imaginable because he figured he'd be dead anyway. Cancer goes into remission because he was having such a good time, and he's in debt for the rest of his life. Could happen to good ol' Walt.

One thing to consider about Walt's new sideline activity. His mind is very involved, focused, and intent on his goal. He's not sitting around feeling sorry for himself, waiting to die or thinking about dying, is he? The meth cooking and this whole new enterprise keeps him pretty preoccupied and not giving the cancer much thought at all, does it? Sounds like a man who's going to live, doesn't it?

user-pic

Accidental explosion at Walt's because he didn't get rid of the mercury he used in his first meeting with Tuco - it was somewhere in the house;

Interesting... I don't think they will set up a lab at the house....

you may be on to something ..

user-pic

Q - Whose pool is it?

A - It is leading to Jane Parsons.

Check this out and you will see and know why:

The answer to this can also be found underneath Bumpy the Tortoise. But, you have to go through Jane Parsons to get to the Tortoise...
