Jessie is gonna cry when Mr. White dies

As their story unfolds so is their relationship. Even though they seem to be at odds with each other they also are starting to be a team and maybe even friends. And although Jessie has a street wise manner he shows us in "Peekaboo" that he is compassionate and good-natured. He knows first hand from his Aunt what Mr. White's fate is and how little he has. But their relationship is just starting to be one, I that I think , they are starting to enjoy. What's Jessie gonna do when Mr. White dies? It makes me sad to think about it.

I agree. I think we'll see the relationship grow with their 4 day cooking marathon

What do you mean Jesse is going to cry? I'm going to cry!

I think it's even more than friendship, RH. There have been plenty of hints in the show as to the inherent father-son nature of their relationship. I say "inherent" because some features of such a relationship are unavoidable: Walt is not just much older than Jesse, but much more knowledgable, decisive, and mature.

But remember? Tuco: "Aw, so you must be Daddy." Walt (to Jane): "I'm, uh, his father." I'm not saying that they actually view each other that way, at the moment. But think about it: Walt hardly ever sees his own son (who has CHANGED his NAME - hint, hint), and Jesse is irrevocably distanced from his blood father. If Walt survives his cancer, and Jesse survives his own dumbassery, I think their relationship will become very close indeed.

They already squabble like an old married couple :P

I think all the meth addicts are gonna cry.

This might be the first show I'll cry when the/a main character dies, I'm not gonna lie.

raculfright_13......
lmfao for sure!

I still think Walt's got a few tricks up his sleeve......this won't be his last batch.........just think..........now they have to come up with some more meth/pseudo/whatever after this 4 day run..........wonder what they'll come up with :P

I don't think Walt's going to die for some reason, but I do think that Jesse will be crying over Walt for alot of reasons, however it turns out (Walt dies from cancer, goes to prison or is killed by the cartel). Their relationship really is deepening. It's like there are a few facets to it: father/son, teacher/pupil, partners/peers, friends/survivors. Walt is turning out to be the main and most influential adult in Jesse's life. Jesse will definitely mourn for Walt, and probably cry for both of them, and so will I.

The scene where Skyler was going off to work for the weekend, and just breezily kissing Walt goodbye left me with this uncomfortable impression of detachment. Their relationship has kind of shifted. I thought then, gee, Walt is more bonded to Jesse than he is to his own family. Everything he's sharing with Jesse, he's not sharing with his family.

most likely Jesse will send Badger and Skinny Pete to steal more methalymine.

user-pic

I'm pretty sure badger is going to county jail for at least a while, he was on probation if I remember.

If Jesse survives this experience with Walt, and escapes prison time, addiction or death, I think he'll go straight, and unbelievably, I think he will do it because of Walt's influence. Walt was/is a decent human being, and Jesse understands Walt's motives for what he did. I can't help feeling that Jesse looks at Walt's motives (his family's financial well-being) as honorable, and may incorporate some of Walt's better side into his own life after Walt is gone - again, only if Jesse survives all this.

Walt may even request it of him. Sort of like a "do it for the 'ol Gipper" kind of speech or more likely as "memento mori" to remind Jesse we all must die and he should turn his life around.

One of the Walt-Jesse scenes that made me laugh because it was so much like any parent-kid interaction was when Walt visited Jesse after the whole Spooge-Skank debacle.

Walt was goading Jesse pretty hard to get up and stop feeling sorry for himself. Jesse got up, but he was going for his bong and Walt grabbed it out of his hands, and just went off on Jesse like any parent would do. You're not going to do that, blah, blah, blah. The Partner Is Out - Daddy Is In. It was hysterical.

user-pic

I thought that part was pretty funny too. Pretty soon Jesse is going to say "yes dad" when he does that.

user-pic

Last year, I had the idea that Jesse might even help Walt hide his drug-dealing past after his death, in the event that his family never finds out while he's alive. I still think he would and you have to have a special relationship with a person to be willing to do something like that.

user-pic

I bet Jesse will, too, one day. Just automatically call Walt, dad in one of their Felix-Oscar argument moments. LOL

user-pic

I have a feeling "Heisenberg" will be the new Jesús Malverde.
He's seriously becoming a legend....

user-pic

I still see it if Walt is on his deathbed, though I'm not sure how Jesse will get pass the family.

Walt letting Jesse know how much he cares for him. It's that tough teacher on the outside , but inside he wants what's best for him and will acknowledge how much he appricates how Jesse was a standup guy for Walt and walts motives, which are really to help take care of his family

For some odd feeling.. I have this thoguht that Walter maybe be gun downed by Hank next to Jessie towards the end.... what do the rest of you folks think? Then all of us would cry....

user-pic

I have'nt responded to this yet, 'cuz it's too sad a thought... =(
Have gotten WAY too attached to not only Walt, but all the characters, in Breaking Bad!
No other dramatic show has drawn me in, since X-Files & CSI...and, it was nowhere, to this magnitude.
But, will agree, metalcraze the show is not going to let Walt just wither away...they've thrown us way too many twists & turns!
Whichever way, they decide to "do away" with Walt...it's going to leave us saying, through our tears...
"WOW!! I didn't see THAT coming!!!"

Hey you like Sci Fi? Check out Farscape it is another show that has a very human connection. Leaves you thinking about the characters long after the show is over, makes you care about them as if they were real.
It's a very special show that can do that to you

user-pic

Blue: Yep! I enjoy Sci Fi quite a bit! Thanks for the suggestion...will have to check it out, next time it's on!
Which ones are your very favorite characters, on that show?
Once again, thanks! I appreciate it! =)

user-pic

Farscape is no longer running. I haven't even seen it running in syndication lately. It ran from 1999 to 2003 on the Sci Fi channel. It's really best watched from the very start. Amazon now has the full 88 episodes,4 seasons, for sale in the video on demand for $1.99 each episode. My favorite characters ?, all of them I couldnt put my finger on just one. Although I must admit I did have a little crush on the main character John. That got me in trouble alot because I inadvertently started calling my boyfriend at the time, who's name is Ron, John. See how that could be easily confused.

user-pic

Oopsie, Blue Runner!!! =( I see what you mean!
LMAO...that reminds me, of: "You can call me Ray. Or, you can call me Jay!" ;)
Was that from "Saturday Night Live"?

Thanks for recommending "Farscape"...will take your advice & watch it from the, first episodes on to the last!
