In Like Flynn
Anybody know the etymology of that expression? It refers to the sexual prowess of the actor Errol Flynn (whom Walt referred to) and some allegations that he seduced young girls.
Some folks made predictions that Walt Jr. might lose his virginity this season. Is the new nickname a hint to that possibility?
I also want to take this opportunity to refute the current rumor that Walt Jr. is gay. It's my opinion and you don't have to agree with me, but I have a teenage boy! At the baby shower for Skyler, he was filming the breasts of all the women...so that is my proof against the rumor.
What are your ideas?

NO judgement calls being made, on my part...but, for some reason, was under the impression that Errol Flynn was bisexual?
While we were watching, when Walt Jr's friend asks for him...my 15 yr. old daughter said, matter-of-factly, "Oh, so he's gay?"
When I asked her, what was said to make her think that...she just kind of clammed-up. Ahhh...the "Generation Gap!" =\
After Walt mentions to his wife, about Errol Flynn, then the possibility of Walt Jr. exploring that facet of his life, opened up.
He's going through an extreme amount of stress...as well as, having to deal with being a young adult.
Someone else had mentioned, that he might start acting out and rebelling, due to the added stress...
(Like I previously stated, I'm NOT being judgemental, just an observation.)
Oh! DRKellogg...Just got done, going back through some older Blogs & found what you'd previously written!
It was YOU, that made that prediction, in a previous Blog, about Walt Jr. acting out!
Sorry about, trying to stuff words you'd already written, back down your throat! LOL LOL LOL
Yeah, I'll own it, but I wasn't the only one who predicted it.
As for Errol Flynn, standard disclaimer first...not that there's anything wrong with being bisexual, but he's not here to "defend" himself, so I'd take that information with a grain of salt. I actually looked around because I thought it was Douglas Fairbanks (the "other" Robin Hood) who everybody wondered about, but couldn't find any good leads. Anyway, I'm willing to give these long-dead stars the benefit of the doubt.
BTW, Louis was a bit geekier than I had imagined. I'm actually thankful for that!
Gay or not, that Louis kid was acting real paranoid and uneasy going up to the door to get Walt Jr. and being greeted by his Dad. How come he didn't just stay in his vehicle and honked the horn for him as he usually did? That took extra effort on his part, so he did it for a reason. Either he's up to something, or he maybe he just simply wanted to see Walt Jr's Dad, the one who wigged out and was found wandering aroung naked in a supermarket. I'm sure word of that incident got spread all through the school.
As far as the nickname "Flynn" - maybe there's no signifigance, and that's all it is, just a nickname. At least it's not "Heisenberg"........
Bigfreakinnaz> I agree with you on all counts! ;)
Like Walt Jr., my dad taught at the same high school I attended. If my dad had walked naked through a store, I would have been a whole lot more popular!
