Jessie's car

Oh, boy, my husband just corrected me - his car is called a low rider - shows how much I know about cars! Has it ever been mentioned what happened to Jessie's dad?

Hmmm... Well, in the first season, Jesse does go home for a few days and lives with his family. Mother, Father, and younger brother.

He gets kicked out when the Cleaning Lady finds a joint stashed in one of the house plants and the parents automatically assume that it is Jesse's and and not the "good" son's. Jesse covers for his brother which puts him back out on the street.

I didn't get the impression that the father was his Step-Father... but I could have missed something.
