Potential Plot Arcs
Jesse should try to get Walt to diversify his portfolio. Sample dialogue: "Dude, the meth scene is really played out around these parts. We should diversify." "Any ideas?" "Government documents. That's where the action's at." "Counterfeiting? I don't think so...The Secret Service takes a very dim view on counterfeiters." "Not money, Holmes, other documents -- say, stamps -- s--t, those thing go for 42 cents a pop. What about those E stamps? Man, those things last forever. Who checks that those are legit? The Secret Service? I don't think so --. We would only have to deal with the Postmaster General, if that. Dude, it would be like printing money, only without the, uh, scrutiny. What do you think?"...

how about walt and family are at disneyland when a user recognizes and starts beging walt. walt tries to hide it from his family and leads the user to a spot where he tries to talk him to leave him be. the user persists and walt ends up beating the user. later in the season, jesse is beging walt in the same way as the user did and walt is enraged and later it out on his family.
In season two the methylamine bigins to run out and our protagonists must yet again find a way of getting around the issue of dwindling intermediates that are government watched. Walt decides to start manufacturing 4-methylaminorex as a substitute for meth.
Wen he delivers the last batch of meth to Tuco, he throws another bag down saying "Go easy on this stuff its new and better than meth" Tuco argues about having to pay for something that he hasn't ordered a fight almost ensues, but walt insists that he never intended to charge tuco for the new stuff just give it a try but go easy coz its stronger.
Meanwhile another cook is introduced onto the scene. He's been servicing the area for some time, but now he's lost business with tuco and two of his men are dead due to tucos gang killing them. He calls on his corrupt officers in the DEA and one relation of a DEA officer who he pays information to for help. He wants to have the new cook located and killed. Viewers are left either thinking that walts bro inlaw is the corrupt officer, but he's not. Its his wife's sister.
Tuco likes the new stuff and asks for more. Walt warns him to cut it by 1/11 or it will kill his users. Meth starts to become unpopular on the street as a new better drug called euphoria hits the market, some call it blue ice.
The DEA are worried because the precursors are numerous and virtually cannot be monitored.
Walt gets home late one night to find his bro-inlaw waiting to ask more about the breakin at the school. This is when the bro-inlaw smells the strange cook smell on walt and starts following walt to see if he is the new cook in town.
Plagued with worry about walt, walt's DEA bro-inlaw tells his wife kinda jokingly that he thinks walt might be the new cook in town the DEA have been searching for. This information starts an investigation of her own. She discovers that walt is indeed the new cook. She must protect walt from the corrupt DEA officers and the old cook.
Knowing about a few other cooks being monitored she persuades the old cook that she has found the new cook (unbeknownstto th viewers) and the old cook informs the corrupt DEA officers to arrest the cooks.
The viewers are left wondering whether the DEA capture walt and his partner and Tuco is informed of their capture by the old cook. Everyone is left wondering whether they've finally been caught.
Meanwhile the old cook goes to see Tuco with a couple of his henchmen to tell him that now he is the only supplier, but chides tuco saying that now it will cost him more because he disrespected the old cook.
Tuco lets the old cook try some of the new stuff and the old cook can't believe how good it is. Tuco asks him if he can make it, but the old cook doesn't know what it is. Tuco tells him he really has no use for his meth or him.
Unbeknownst to the old cook, Tuco has only just been visited by walt, he pulls walt out of a hidden room and laughs at the old cook and kills him and his henchman in front Walt.
Meanwhile walts sis-inlaw reveals she is a DEA spy to walt and tells walt she'll do everything in her power to protect him. But she needs money at least 1 million as back up for the corrupt DEA officers that she knows and talks to.
I'm just backing up what Bruce K said...why can't they just put up the premiere dates on the Home page instead of making us, the fans, go on a wild goose chase trying to find the correct date...I heard Breaking Bad was to premiere in January, now I'm hearing March, so which is it, does anybody know the correct date?
Where to start? I don't have any real ideas for plots, just some possibilities that I would like to see develop.
I would like to see the story (perhaps in a flashback) of how Jesse inherited the house from his aunt. It would develop his character a lot more and we could possibly see his motivation for joining the ranks of drug users and makers. Also, it might explain why Jesse and Walt, with such disparate personalities, are becoming more attached to each other.
I would like to find out whether or not the side story of Walt, Gretchen and Elliott is just a red herring, or if Walt wants to subconsciously exact revenge on one or both of them. They really seem to get under his skin!
What's up with Gretchen's bizarre rooster fixation?
How do Marie and Skyler resolve their big conflict? Will Marie admit she's a thief? Will Hank admit he knows Marie is a thief?
If Walt's activities are discovered, how do Hank and his partner, Gomez, resolve the fact that the kingpin is someone they know? I think Hank would accept a "favor" to look the other way, but Gomez is will bulldog and it will cause problems between them.
