not since the sopranos have i been hooked on a mini series, me and faye ran across the marathon on amc one night and was hooked instantly, wow

I agree. There is no other show on TV that has the appeal that Breaking Bad has.

This is the best show on TV. I have watched every episode 3 or 4 times. The scenario is so far-fetched, yet the actors and the writing make it so real. I check every week to find out when season 2 will start. It better not get canceled, i love this show and have told everyone I know about it. Forget "LOST" , "HEROES" , "HOUSE" , they are all kids play compared to BREAKING BAD.

I continue to be extremely frustrated with not only the lack of new episodes but also the lack of information re: when a new season will be starting. Never have I experienced the lack of communication re: a popular show like this. I say "popular;" I know it's only as popular as it can be being relegated to the 11:00pm Sunday (central) time slot on AMC. Mad Men gets an earlier time slot and has new episodes. Breathe new life back into this show...and soon!!

I don’t understand why AMC won't divulge the Season 2 start date. This sounds an awful lot like a canceled TV Series on FOX - John Doe. GREAT Program, GREAT story line, ¾ great cast! Then without warning they pulled the plug! ARG! (I know it was because of Jayne Brook – the most annoying actress in the business. She has had rolls in; "Private Practice" to "CSI: Miami" to "Grey's Anatomy" to my favorite, "Boston Legal.” Be careful producers, she’ll kill your series!) If AMC kills this series, I will formally launch an AMC Boycott! I am so serious... Anyway, I have no problem seeing these fine actors bubble-up to better roles in other shows is cancellation is the case.

This show won an Emmy for best editing, and the show's star, Bryan Cranston, won for best actor in a TV drama. The rest of this remarkable cast has Emmy written all over them. I am surprised they did not receive more acclamations. MAD MEN is interesting, but does not have the captivating augh Breaking Bad has. Just when you think you have a handle on the program’s trend, the writers pull a turtle out of a hat! There is strong character development and you actually feel empathy for their motivations.

I have told all my friends and acquaintances about this fine program and they had come back with the same stance as I. PLEASE TELL US WHEN SEASON 2 WILL START! Or, at least tell us it is canceled so we can start our separation anxiety counseling. At any rate, thank you for your fine programming. It’s time to tell us your plans.

Yeah I have to agree with you all. I had a fear that no one would watch it and it was going to get canceled or something. I really hope not. Breaking Bad is soooo awesome. It's just.... Amazing! has you on the edge of your seat. I've never really been so addicted to a T.V. show. The first what four or five episodes were just a teaser. They need to hurry up and get the second season out like yesturday!!!

AMC needs to post season 1 full episodes here online for all to watch. I'd love to watch over and over again. I agree w/ the guy who said it's the best fix he's found since the Sopranos finale. Sons of Anarchy is filling the Sopranos void as well but I credit FX for posting episodes day after original airing for my dedication to that series.

I can not believe that they haven't even addressed that fact that people are waiting for Breaking Bad...no teaser...trailer...not even a mention. Its like they're ignoring the series??? I don't get it and I certainly don't agree...I am a loyal fan of the show after just one season yet this reminds me of why I stopped watching LOST; because they show me three episodes then post-pone the rest of the season for two years its ridiculous! If they go ahead and cancel this series without admitting it aka "forgetting it and hoping it will dissapear" I will most likely not watch AMC broadcasting anymore. This situation is becoming closer and closer to the tragedy of "Arrested Development" where they unfortunately cancelled the greatest sitcom EVER (yes better than or at least equivelant to "the office") because of scheduling conflicts with olympics and other significant sporting events. While the reason for cancelling Breaking Bad may be different than that of Arrested Development, the lose of a great series is a similarity I simply can not bare to witness. (Okay that was very corny and overly dramatic at the end but you catch my drift). WE WANT BREAKING BAD SEASON 2!!
