Things that make you go hmmmm...
As I drive to work every morning, I pass a car wash with this information on their marquee: We do not use any HF acid here. (I copied it into my Palm Pilot so I'd be sure to get the wording right.) I wondered whether or not there was possibility that HF actually was used at car washes or if it was somehow just a nod to or inside joke about the show. It seemed a little strange, since that stuff eats through metal!
After a little research, I discovered that HF acid IS sometimes a component in the products used to clean tires and wheels. I also found out that although it is a corrosive substance, it depends on the strength of the solution as to the damage it can cause. (That makes sense!) Also it can cause bone deterioration even without outward skin damage. I suppose that sort of thing might happen if it is inhaled. Good thing Jesse and Walt wore respirators.

... although i was secretly hoping HF acid had nothing to do with a car wash and everything to do with the show :)
got to admit i think about the show since the finale. there is alot that to thin kabout and leaving with such a high climax is pretty unbearable. march feels like forever now....
